Daryll B. "My favorite dish at Weakness for Sweetness is the Jerk salmon with vegetables, plantains and "Bob Marley" rice. The salmon is always fresh and prepared exquisitely. The "Bob Marley" rice is Spanish style yellow rice with seasonings and chopped vegetables. The dish just works. Their jerk is not overly spicy and very flavorful. The curried dishes are worth a try as well. I am a roti addict, and here it is cooked just the way I like it. I still have yet to try their version of Jamaica's national dish, Ackee and salt fish. In most of the dishes you can see and definitely tastes the fresh spices like thyme, allspice, and peppers. They sale extra gravy/sauce like jerk or curry. Get the extra. Also, the Bob Marley rice is a must, even if peas and rice is your go-to. Just add the other rice dish as a side order to compare. The desserts push the stars up a notch. So many fresh baked cakes, breads, pies. The coco bread is so filling and pleasantly so. The red velvet cake has to be my favorite guilty pleasure. Pro tip- make sure to stop in on Jamaican Independence day and Bob Marley's birthday. They add specials to the menu that are outstanding. Lastly, the staff and owner are downright nice. They answer your questions and will let you know if your request can be accommodated, like more rice in lieu of plantains. Just a great place in Prince George's County to get Jamaican cuisine and scratch baked sweets."

Emily E. "I love that this is my neighborhood bakery! And I really love the fact that they have something for everyone especially those people like me that have food allergies! Their gluten free carrot cake cupcakes are absolutely amazing! I get about 2 a week and when I was expecting let's just say I was there multiple times a week lol My daughter loves their red velvet cupcakes and cookies and cream cake pops. I've also tried the gluten free cheesecake and that was delicious too! The staff almost feel like family and the shop is small but mighty! Also an added bonus is their rewards system! I've had multiple free desserts and even money off of my tab.Be sure to try Sweet Eden's if you haven't already!"

Lysonia P. "Today was my first time trying this bakery and we decided to try the cupcakes. They offer a nice assortment and come in a 4, 6, or 12 pack. We tried snickerdoodle, strawberry, strawberry crunch, strawberry shortcake, Oreo and red velvet. HONEYYYY!!! They were all delicious. The cake was moist and very flavorful and the icing was smooth whipped and airy. Just delicious cupcakes all together. My favorite as of right now is snickerdoodle but we'll see because I am going back tomorrow to try the other flavors. The service was very friendly and efficient."

Nichole B. "This establishment was mentioned in one of my Facebook groups, one of the members talked very highly about this place, so I had to try. While on my lunch break today, I took the liberty of trying out this cute little black owned bake shop. I purchased a strawberry crunch Bundt cake and one of their traditional cupcakes. When I say the Bundt cake was so light and airy, and not too sweet, OMG. I got a chance to chat with the owner, such a sweet lady, she does all the baking in house as well. I highly recommend if your ever on Read Street, please, please make it your justice to stop in and grab some yummy desserts. You will not be disappointed at all."

Patti M. "My son brought home some cupcakes from Gino's Sweets and I had a strawberry and a birthday. Both cupcakes were fresh and moist. The icing was perfect because it wasn't super sweet. Haven't had cupcakes this fresh in a long time. Hope to visit the location soon to try some other flavors!"

Stephanie S. "Stumbled into this bakery looking for something sweet to satisfy my pregnancy craving. I was more than happy with my crepe. It was light with just the right amount of Nutella and a generous portion of fruit. My husband who has a nut allergy got the Oreo cheesecake which was light and fantastic. The staff was very kind to go over the ingredients for his allergy and all was well. Would come again!"

Mark Allan J. "If a place can make a banana pudding so well that it imposes such carnal emotions upon the individual - that place deserves more than five stars.A banana pudding is one of the few dessert foods that I especially judge critically upon. For a dessert drawing heavily upon the quality of components to become the penultimate summation of creations, an unsuspecting bakery would crumble at the slightest oversight of presenting a food like this - not this bakery however. The Confetti Cake Bar has a level of detail that is remarkably optimistic and fresh to the Baltimore Bakery scene. Located on Monument St, it's location is an unsuspecting gem in a otherwise avoided area. The exterior is polished and well-kept, something that's truly admirable in this day. The interior is tastefully designed and modern, displaying their weekly rotation of desserts and pastries. My entourage were greeted at the entrance and immediately welcomed in. We were offered their lemonade slush samples, which were tantalizing and well-worth the return later on. The owner was kind and ensured everyone was satisfied with their choices - ensuring the highest of quality and attention to detail with their products.Although I can't speak further on the rest of the products, I do believe a well-crafted banana pudding is a major indication of a quality location. I will definitely be returning."
