Kiana B. "If you haven't been to this place but want to, I strongly suggest you go during happy hour or on a Monday (all day happy hour!). I went with a friend during happy hour and loved the selection of food and drinks. We each ordered a sangria (available red or white) and split 4 apps. Even with the auto-gratuity of 20%, the meal was still very affordable! We ordered the bang bang shrimp (not part of happy hour), crab dip, smoked wings, and roasted brussel sprouts. The wings and crab dip were okay (I could've sworn it used to come with pretzels) but I loved the brussel sprouts and bang bang shrimp. The food also came out really quick, which was a nice plus."

Sara L. "Came here with a friend for a last minute brunch after the other spot we tried had a 45+ minute wait. I was immediately taken by the decor. Talk about a beautiful restaurant! I didn't love that they had the front door propped open at first, letting cold air rush into the place. The eventually closed it after I had my jacket on for 2/3 of our meal. Our server was attentive and the food came in a timely fashion. My friend got an omelette and red velvet cheesecake, I got the lobster hash, my husband got the chicken and hash, and we shared the cookies and cream stuffed French toast. Everything was delicious, especially the French toast. I enjoyed my lobster hash but some bites of the hash brown were a bit salty. It would've been nice if there were other seasonings. Our friend got a cocktail that was very well balanced. Im attempting not to drink at the moment (saving myself for the holidays!) otherwise I would've gotten one too. The music was on point so they get major points for that."

Annie G. "Good food: the ramen is super flavorful. Soup (I had original/classic one) was thick and creamy. You can tell they must have boiled it for hours for the soup to look like that and very umami. The egg is noodle is perfectly processed-- melted egg yolk, so tender.Service is wonderful. They check on us frequently, asking if we need anything or add more order. Very nice and kind. When we order they didn't bring a booklet but simply remembered our order. Apparently they know their business very well.Ambience is good too. There are not many tables, but each with enough space in between to keep conversation private. Cocktail (gin with yuzu, and peppercorn) was awesome. I like how slightly bitter it was. But very strong aroma of the yuzu. I enjoyed a lot."

We stumbled into this place which is like 17 min from Laurel thanks to someQuick Yelp searches and all agreed this place is pretty good. We came for brunch which is like reasonably priced tapas. The whiskey, bourbon, and beer selections are pretty fantastic. They even have a pre mixed old fashion on tap that is even better. Desserts such as the donut of the day and bread of the day are a nice thing to take home to anyone you have waiting. We sat at the bar and were served by Able who was attentive and informative. Great experience and I can't wait to come back for dinner."

The waitress assisted us right away. I had a charred pineapple margarita and a peach margarita. The peach was my favorite. I also had nachos, bacon wrapped jalapenos and boom boom shrimp over coleslaw. The portions were very tasty and filling. This place was pretty busy for a Wednesday night but, there were no long waits for anything. They suggested dessert but, we declined because we were already full. Now I'm Trinidadian so when it comes to the food, my taste expectations are at a minimum what my food tastes like .... I don't expect anybody to taste like my mommy's kitchen because I know that's setting the bar to high ha! Now the sorrel was absolutely delicious but the food was just OK to me. The pholourie was fried too long, the tamarind sauce and pepper sauce were tasty, the doubles, fried rice, fish and cabbage just was lacking in flavor for me. I'll definitely be sending my American friends here because their pallet is different from mine and I know they'll enjoy the place but for my tastebuds, the flavor missed the mark."

We loved all of the food we ordered and were really impressed with their craft cocktails. My personal fav was the "Carried Away." I ordered the salmon bites as an appetizer and they were seasoned to perfection, although it tasted like the pink salmon in the can it was a 7/10. The Vegan bowl was the only disappointing part of the experience. I ordered it with Salmon and luckily I added the salmon because the vegetables were a 0/10. As a vegetable lover I was extremely sad, I had been craving some vegetables since I'm visiting from California and hadn't really sat down to eat real food. The establishment was really nice and aesthetically pleasing. The music was at the right volume that I could hear my guest but not overpower the conversation. My day positively sucked today, so I was looking for good drinks....and Soluna obliged. I ordered the La Suegra and my hubby got the La Flaca. He must have liked the looks of mine, because he had one of those and then had the La Suegra! I can't speak for his, but mine was spicy with a hint of Tajin and best of all, ALCOHOL! Can't beat that one a bad day, can you?! We were served some wonderful chips with some spicy salsa along with them. The drinks washed them down very nicely! We ordered the Street Corn Appetizer. I don't even know how to describe this except AMAZING! The fire roasted corn really stood out, the crema and other components just melded so well together. It was like a party in your mouth! I would eat this one on its own, that's how good it was!For dinner, I had the shrimp tacos and hubby had the duck mole. Simple ingredients that all came together to make an amazing meal! Loved every last bite of mine and hubby enjoyed his!We had the dessert.....and a Mexican coffee. We NEVER order cake, but the description had me intrigued. It was a REALLY GOOD DESCRIPTION, because you could taste all the elements that were printed on the menu. The cake was frosted in a lovely buttercream and you could taste the richness of the cake and light cayenne pepper. Definitely a winner and for you chocoholics out there, you will love it! This cake will feed a few for sure.We ended it with Mexcan coffee. Amazeballs! Rarely, if ever, do we get a coffee even close to hot, especially anything that is spiked. This came piping hot! Such a surprise! I'd almost start out with this drink, it's that good! Our server Joannie was amazing....so upbeat and helpful! Loved her! We came to celebrate my sister's birthday. Food: The dishes at Tapia's are delicious, offering a satisfying dining experience. We tried the calamari, which was very good, although we didn't take a picture. Food portions are good. We had some leftovers that we took home.Drinks: The drink menu is a highlight, featuring amazing cocktails that complement the food perfectly. Their regular margaritas are delicious, and the pomegranate martini is a must-try. A standout is their spicy margarita, which brings serious heat. While it's excellent for spice lovers, it might be too intense for those with milder palates. Consider yourself warned! We also enjoyed a Moscow Mule, which was good.Service: The service was amazing. Our server, Cecilia, provided excellent attention and made our dining experience even more enjoyable.Atmosphere: The ambiance was truly amazing. We dined during a beautiful sunset, with the temperature just right - not too hot, not too cold. It was slightly cloudy, and we were initially concerned about potential rain. However, the attentive staff, including our waiter, reassured us that if it did start to rain, they would have a table ready for us inside. This thoughtful preparation added to our comfort and enjoyment of the evening.Overall, Tapia's on Main is a great choice for those looking for flavorful food, innovative drinks, top-notch service, and a lovely atmosphere. Anna S. "Snake Hill is a homey neighborhood bar in Highlandtown. I love the eclectic feel of the bar area and the creative drinks. They seriously have some awesome cocktail concoctions that always seem to be changing and elevating. They usually have weekly specials for food and drinks so you can try something new every time. Stand outs on the menu include their wings, their mac n cheese, and of course, the sausage. Now, I'm not really a sausage kinda gal. I don't really eat red meat so it's never been my thing. However, Snake Hill grill has a variety of chicken, veggie, and "exotic" sausages so that even the most sausage averse person can probably find something they like. The sausage comes on a brioche bun and you get two free toppings. Plus, they have plenty of fun mustard to dress up your dog with. I chose the mango and habanero chicken sausage with hots and sauerkraut and dressed it up with old bay mustard and the bourbon mustard. Delish! Note: I got it without the bun since I stay away from gluten however, the mango habanero sausage is not GF because of the breadcrumbs. There are clearly marked GF sausage options on the menu though! My friend got the mac and cheese and we shared an order of small fries which came with a spicy mayo. My friend added crab to his mac and cheese but it honestly just looked like Old Bay was sprinkled on top - no crab meat to be seen... probably not worth the $4 upcharge. The fries were hot and thick cut and the small serving size was still enough to share. The cocktails were the Hi-C special and tasted just like an adult version of Hi-C!Overall, I'd definitely come back for more food and drinks. My only suggestion would be to add a GF bun to the menu so GF folks can enjoy the GF sausages as they are intended to be served. Cheers!"

Our slot was 11-1 which they will cancel if you aren't there on time but even though we got there around 11:30, we were still seated and had plenty of time to eat. I did the brunch buffet option with the bottomless mimosas. Everything, and I do mean everything I got on my plate was bomb. Usually there's always at least one thing that isn't that great when it comes to buffets but I can honestly say everything I ate was a 10/10. For a split second I thought I was back in Texas the way the catfish was fried to perfection. If you're from Houston, this place is basically Phil & Derek's ala 2016. The DJ was great and our server was also very nice. They came around and passed out shots to all the birthday people and pm those celebrating with them. The buffet brunch was $55/person and $20 bottomless mimosas which is kinda pricy but if you consider food, drinks, and atmosphere it's worth it.
