"Max's is an old faithful of mine! I have been here countless times for nights out and to watch Raven's games. The food is decent bar food and they have a huge selection of beer, alongside cocktails and wine. They also offer karaoke on Friday night's which is a lot of fun as well. This is a good spot to hang with friends and family, and it's good for a large group!"
"Their bulgogi banh mi is really great! This shopping center is small but Friday has some live music in the courtyard often with local vendors setting up stands. Family and dog friendly when outside! Lots of garage parking and outdoor seating"

"We made a reservation for 10 and it became 12 and they made it work and happen!!! I thought it would be an issue getting the food out but it worked...service was ok...it was a lot and they forgot a few things and it was just ok.I was worried as I made this reservation and it was far from where we were staying near the convention center...but it was worth traveling for according to my friends that came with. The only thing that was kind of strange to me was that the food came in plastic to go containers...even if you ate in the restaurant.Across 12 ppl, they ordered a wide variety of things and I didn't hear one complaint...so that is a good thing. I didn't go around and take pictures, and I should have...missed opportunity.I don't know that I would come back here but it was what the people wanted on this day!"
"Ever since the ibar infestation, I've been looking for a new wing spot. Have the say, while their famous buffalo wings were good (but very mild), there was not nearly enough sauce. Pretty dry actually. Extra sauce was I believe a $2 up charge? I also would've preferred if they were fried a bit harder, but overall good quality meat and flavor. For a 10 count and fries it was about $20 for reference. I'd likely come back because it's the best I've found so far."
"Rainpia is a go-to if you're craving Korean food late at night. In Howard County, where everything else seems to close by 7 PM to accommodate families, this place is a much-needed option. The menu is solid, and I usually go for the boiled pork belly--it's tender, flavorful, and pairs perfectly with the banchan. The downside? It's loud. Rainpia is clearly a hotspot for the college crowd, and they bring the energy. Expect lots of laughter, chatter, and a generally rowdy vibe. The seating setup doesn't do much to help--it's tight and awkward, so you're right in the mix whether you like it or not.Still, the late hours and reliably good food make it worth the trip. Just don't come here for a quiet night out--this is more of a lively, eat-and-enjoy kind of spot. Four stars for keeping the pork belly coming when the rest of Howard County is asleep!"
"We tried to make it to coal fire every couple months because they have an excellent happy hour and I really love the lasagna pizza. We tend to eat in the bar because we like to do the happy hour and I'm always impressed by the incredible service we receive and attention from the staff. The pizza is never a miss and it's definitely become one of my favorites. This time we got to try the buffalo chicken pizza along with the lasagna pizza and both were excellent and we definitely had enough for lunch the next day. I also got a cocktail and really enjoyed it!"
"Wow ! Just wow how good the chicken tenders plate was . It comes with 2 huge tender , fries , garlic bread , choice of 2 dips .Upgraded the tenders to spicy for extra 99c and got the buffalo sauce and honey old bay seasoning Dip for 49c extra. The quantity the flavors were just amazing . It's enough for 2 people .Chicken tenders were juicy , hot crispy and succulent with the spicy sauce smothered ! Served hot fresh and amazing.Fries were really good with the seasoning g adding another level to the yummy factor .For around 17.5$ a great meal. This place is in the R hall food court .Gets busy at this counter but service is clean and prompt. The R hall itself has a good vibe with many big groups eating out or working on their laptops .You won't go wrong if you want to try this place. We were glad we chose to order here"
"I came here for the first time because I was curious about the food. I reviewed the menu before arriving, so I decided on a burrito bowl. When I arrived it was just okay. It was kind of dimly lit inside, but the ordering station had lighting that was decent enough to see what I was ordering. I walked in and was not greeted, so I basically stated that I wanted to order a burrito bowl. The staff member looked at me opposed to directly asking what I wanted in the bowl. I started naming the usual items (rice, black beans, corn, salsa, peppers and onlons etc, but since they only had the chicken burrito bowl listed on the in-house menu, I stated that I only wanted a veggie bowl. The cashier at the other end of the station stated that veggie bowls are the same price as those with meat. He added that I could add some roasted vegetables instead. I never asked about pricing, but I guess I understood why he said it, but not how he said it. Everything here seems to be extra and by extra, I mean nickle and diming extra. The guacamole was almost $4.00 in addition to a bowl that was already almost $14.00, which is insane. The service was a no for me and was pretty much non-existent. However, the burrito bowl was unexpectedly exceptional. The flavors were impeccable. I was amazed from the first bite that the flavors exceeded my expectations. I only added salsa verde to the bowl and that was more than enough. I am used to Chipotle bowls in which the salad dressing/sauce always kicks up the flavor several notches, but Lima's bowl did not need anything because the flavors were already prominent and available in every bite. I am not interested in eating here again, but the taste of that burrito bowl might make me reconsider."
"Flavor Town! Right by the main entrance to Aberdeen Proving Ground, this casual spot is great for lunch and dinner. I ordered Curry Goat from their lunch special menu which came with my choice of rice and peas and veggies, and plantain and it was ready right away. I was very impressed with the deep flavors of every part of my dish. From the same menu, my coworker enjoyed the Jerk Chicken with the dipping sauce that had a good kick. For any of their meat dishes, it's typical to get some bones. Then to drink, their homemade Ginger Beer was sharp and excellent! I could have sipped on this all day! A taste of paradise!NOTES/TIPS:**Parking is easy in their own lot.**Wheelchair-accessible. Gendered restrooms, single stalls."
"Always good food, freshly made. I love that they do "soft cook" on the fries. I've had a number of different things from them: French fries, seafood boils, fried chicken, shrimp fried rice, shrimp cheesesteak (one of the best), lemon pepper and Old Bay wings, grilled and fried catfish (I prefer the grilled catfish with Cajun seasoning). Service is always good. Only has 1 table on the inside and a few bar stools so definitely more so a carry out spot."
"Really good chicken, Good coleslaw, good greens and phenomenal catfish. Great service Nice people, clean and easy. Takes a few minutes to get your food because they cook it fresh for you and it is worth it. The only reason I won't be back is because I don't live near here, I'm a little jealous of folks that do!"
"Between you and me, I have a crush on one of the ajummas here - she doesn't know it but it's one of the reasons why I keep coming back. But onto what truly matters in a KBBQ establishment - the meat. Heaven all mighty how I could deceive you all by saying the meat was on a whole 'nother level, but honestly it isn't the best meat I've laid tongue on. Don't get me wrong, the meat isn't bad, but it definitely isn't the gold standard. Where this place truly shines is in its warm atmosphere of food and cheer. This is where you come to hang out with friends over good food and drinks. The servers here add to the boisterous atmosphere along with the blaring non-stop K-pop.Though I have enjoyed many occasions here with friends, it really isn't anything special compared to other Maryland KBBQ locations in Ellicott city and Rockville. However, it is the only place in Maryland that does KBBQ, a necessary pillar of Asian cuisine that needs to be represented.I believe the only thing holding this place back is the quality of meat. If it were higher and shown more attention, this place would be unstoppable. Alas, it still has a place in my heart. Would recommend and will be visiting again."

Went for the comedy show. It was a full house! I've never had pit beef before and surprisingly, the sandwich was pretty tasty! The chips were amazing and the cornbread was even better. We were able to order from the upstairs bar and the service was quick and friendly.

Craved some souls food while in DC. Bestfriend recommended this location, we made reservations, upon walking in we realized the rest of our party went to the other location. We asked to be seated while we wait for them, we were told to wait at the bar, even though the restaurant was pretty empty. Food was delicious.

This place was recommended by a friend for their cheesesteaks. I called my order in 25 mins in advance, the phone did ring off of the hook for a while, but they eventually picked up right when I was going to hang up. When I got there, I expected the place to be packed since it took forever to pick up the phone. But, there were maybe about 5/6 people sitting at the bar and the tables were empty. The tavern was extremely dimly lit and the crowd was much older. Definitely didn't fit in and got a lot of stares when I walked in. I was unsure of where to pick up my to go order and there wasn't a hostess at the front. So, I just walked all the way to the back, with the stares following me. The bartender who I guess also served as the waitress had my order ready. I will say this place is EXTREMELY pricey... for 2 cheesesteaks and 1 order of lemon pepper wings, it was $55. That's nuts! Had I known the prices beforehand, I probably wouldn't have ordered from here. The cheesesteaks were good, nothing to write home about. And the lemon pepper wings were actually pretty solid. They were fried hard and didn't lack seasoning. They came with blue cheese I forgot to ask for ranch. Taking off stars for the outrageous prices and the unwelcoming stares from the guests. I guess I wasn't the right crowd.

It is lively place with great good. I loved the tuna rice balls. It was crowded but the service was good. They checked on us. The chicken is a little pricey but worth it.

After visiting with our friends in Ellicott City, Hubby and I stopped at Coal Fire for a quick bite. If you like Margherita Pizza, you can taste the fresh ingredients. Coal Fire was very busy this Labor holiday weekend, but the staff/server handled us efficiently. First, we ordered to go to take back our hotel. But as you can see from the picture of the pizza box, we were so hungry we ate all the pizza. It is a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere for a quick bite to eat.

BRD! It's really GOOD! The crunch on the spicy chicken sandwiches provides a delight for your taste buds and an ASMR level of satisfaction to your eardrums. Their fries are crunchy, thin, seasoned, and they have enough potato to still give that fluff we are looking for. Only cons: for $4 bucks I would have expected a bit more fries, and I would personally liked more of the Carolina sauce as well.

"Delia Foley's is absolutely our choice for favorite wings locally, as well as best and most consistent Guinness pour. We've been a few times and I try a different sauce each time - so I can't yet pick a favorite, but have enjoyed Orangemen, Jamrock, and a few of their specials. The potato wedges are definitely a must-order - they remind us of the ones from the now-closed taphouse at the Rotunda, or almost like the Buffalo Wild Wings wedges. Great flavor and texture, and go so well with the wing sauces."
"I ordered from here on a Friday night. Buffalo wings and lemon pepper. Wings were really good..nicely fried and the lemon pepper wings were wonderfully seasoned. There are so many flavors on the menu I wish I had a chance to try more. Pickup was easy, it's a no-frills wing spot on a street with not much parking but I had a friend wait in the car while I ran in."
"A decent BBQ option in Bethesda. Lots of craft beers to choose from and a varied menu. Be aware that you order at the counter then go have a seat. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich along with some appetizers. Mozzarella sticks were very good, mac and cheese was decent and the pulled pork didn't disappoint. If you're used to more authentic BBQ you probably won't be a fan."
"Our go to halal pizza in the Columbia area. The food and service have been consistent. We usually get the pepperoni and bbq chicken pizza. My kids also love the bbq wings."
"Zen West is a neighborhood classic and favorite! Their grilled wings are truly one of Baltimore's best! You can never go wrong ordering the wings or the trio sampler which comes with a basket of warm (and delicious) tortilla chips."
"Food is really good. Prices are sustainable. Wish they had the option of frying the food harder for more crunch like Alabama chicken."
"We were wandering around the market and stopped here because who doesn't love Chicken and Waffels?? The two men there were super kind and helpful. Great service! We got the oreo waffle with 2 chicken tenders. To direct quote my mother "This is delicious. Oh my goodness." It was a struggle for her to stop eating even though she was full! The waffle was sweet, but not in an overpowering way. The chicken was hot and moist. Everything about the dish hit the spot. My only note is that I normally like my chicken breading crispy/crunchy and this wasn't, but that's a personal preference. And the lack of crunch certainly didn't take away from the delicious flavor. Go here!"
"This place is non-stop busy. I am truly impressed by the speed of the employees. The funny thing is the customers order in an organized fashion as well. People place their orders and wait patiently for the delicious food. The tables are clean and people actually pick up after themselves. The Tuna Sandwich, pineapple upside-down cake Wings and Western fries were my picks today and holy cow everything was mouthwatering. I hate pineapple but this cake - it's unlike anything I have ever tasted. The wings and the fries with the Sunny Sauce were awesome. My brother said the Tuna Sandwich tasted better than any Tuna sandwich he has order at a deli/restaurant/fast food place. He commented on how perfectly it was wrapped and ready to eat. My niece found out I was headed to Sunny's with my brother as we were in town visiting family and she asked for 3 wings and Western fries with extra sauce. A girl 's gotta eat so of course we purchased her an order. You know the chicken is good when someone from a different state asks you to pick up a "plate" for them. I will be coming here when in town for certain."
"I'm not sure how to even feel about this place just yet.I came in on a early Sunday afternoon. Just for a quick bite to eat and a drink. Basketball was on all of their tvs which was perfect because I live sports.I was able to find a seat at the bar. I sat for about 10min with out someone coming over to offer a menuFinally I guess one of the bartenders felt my awkward stares and started to ask if I need anything.I didnt order anything crazy just hot wings with tequilla and cranberry juice. Everything came out in decent time and the wings tasted really good. The only thing stopping my return was the lack of diversity in patrons. It definitely made me feel slightly discomfort and out of place but I said to myself it's 2023 I going to go where I want to eat and there's no holding back. I guess it worked because I was alone....not sure how it would've gone had I been with friends"
"We've been here a few times and they are in our rotation. Smaller spot and seems like more of a takeout place although they do serve Beer and have TVs.On our most recent visit, we ordered the Gold Fever wings. A mix of spicy and sweet-just right. Philly Steak sandwich is a Panini vs the usual Sub roll. Very good especially since this spot specializes in Wings. Fries are always tasty-not sure what they do (Battered) but it works. They also have Burgers, Wraps and sandwiches. A long list of Custom Wing sauces.Service has always been friendly. A local favorite that has been around since the mid 90s. The spot for Wings in HarCo!"
"Been here several times. Consistently good food. Reasonable prices. Pit beef good, fries are very good and chicken tenders are absolutely the best esp with Honey Mustard Sauce they offer as a side."
"Great portions, friendly staff, and the kind of hours that a Jamaican spot ought to have. Glad I found this place and I look forward to returning. They even had a spot for me to do an impromptu photo shoot while we waited!"
"They're steamed crabs -- how can you go wrong? This place is a Bowie staple for many years. I think they have fair pricing and the crabs we got were great. I didn't personally think the crabcakes tasted the best, but now we know what to get. Also had fried shrimp, which was tasty."
"For what it's worth (a bar, duh!) Acme Bar & Grill has solid bar food with a very laid back vibe. My friends and I went about fifteen minutes and couldn't decide what to order (so we ordered a ton, see photos). What were the showstoppers: wings, shrimp, pizza, quesadillas and crab balls. The wings are super crispy (fried hard) and flavorful, the pizza is simple but satisfying, and the quesadillas are cheesy and filling. Perfect for a casual late night bar meal, especially if you're craving wings!I'd return again especially for the wings!"
"I recently moved to Baltimore and hadn't had a chicken box. We just heard about it, and my husband told us we needed to have it for dinner that night. Luckily, Choi's was close to my husband's work. I went to go pick him up, and we headed over here on a very rainy evening. There's a large parking lot but everyone seems to park in the tow away zone. So it does get a little interesting to maneuver around everyone. Choi's had a constant stream of people coming in and out. We got a 4 wing and Western fry combo as well as a 6 wing and western fry combo. And 2 half and half's (one large, one medium) the cashier was a very polite and nice, especially to us newcomers. The food also didn't take too long to get to us. They have condiments and what not on a counter as a well. We had a somewhat longer drive home because of traffic, but man was it worth it. The wings were perfectly seasoned. The chicken itself was very juicy as well. I didn't think I could eat all of it, but I ate it all. The fries were delicious. They didn't hold their crispy-ness well after the drive, but still so good. My husband finished all of his wing and fries. And downed almost all of his large half and half. The half and half is very sweet but so satisfying with the wings/fries. Choi's is a hole in the wall kind of place. It's not in the best area, but the food is absolutely amazing. My husband is already talking about going here for lunch sometimes."
"Not sure why more people don't come here more often. The chicken is SOOOOOOOO GOOD! And for those who haven't tried Korean fried chicken before, it's pretty much double fried and sauced very well, not like other wing spots where they skimp on sauce. They also have other Korean dishes and sides just for you to try if you crave it. Full bar as well! Just be mindful the parking lot can get crazy because of the grocery store next door.Come here! It's very chill and good f-ing food!"
"MidAtlantic-- and this location in particular have never failed me when I'm crazing comfort food or fried fish. I always get the teriyaki green beans and they are consistently good. On my most recent trip, I opted for the cheesy broccoli. It wasn't my favorite, there wasn't much flavor or seasoning so I'll go back to the cheesy potatoes next time. The whiting fish was fried perfectly and there was enough for 2 full meals. They don't skimp on portions here, so if you're looking for good food at a reasonable price point, you shouldn't be disappointed. I'm taking one star because from my experience their desserts can be hit or miss. I order the banana pudding and it was literally just bananas and pudding in a cup. No wafers, cheese cookies, nothing. I wasn't expecting much, but at least a traditional recipe would have been nice. At any rate, the service is pretty consistent, the restaurant dining area appears clean even though I've never sat inside there are always other diners present when I go to pickup so the option is there."
"Tasty, inexpensive. Big portions, well-flavored, fresh flavors. And the big win- late hours! In the 'burbs where almost everything closes early even on weekends- having hot food late, that's NOT fast food, is huge. Even the bars close their kitchens early since the pandemic, so this place really stands out. After a half-dozen visits, I see the same faces regularly- nice staff. Despite some fumbling confused customers and occasional long lines, they're all still in a pleasant mood. Unexpected.Stick to the basics here, and (the big tip) get more than one sauce to amp up the flavor. It's about 2x the meat other places serve in a single gyro.It can be busy, and between big orders and people not ready to order, the ordering line can slow down. Consider ordering ahead.Other thoughts: this is a franchised concept, I haven't been to any other locations to compare. It's in the renovated Normandy shopping center which is now full of local & "ethnic" eateries. Lots of parking. Some outdoor seating. Clean interior with several 4-top tables.I think some reviewers might be expecting too much for an inexpensive casual counter service (and/or don't understand that "halal" is not the cuisine lol). And yes, the meat is cut from a rotisserie-style formed slab (same as gyros & schwarmas and al-pastors and so forth all over the world). It's cubed but that makes for a consistent & easy product. It's GOOD but it needs the sauce and seasoning to make it complete. And then it's wonderful.I'm probably too picky and experienced well beyond the point of jaded. And I really couldn't ask for more for $10, made hot & fresh at all hours. Happy to see them busy and hopefully they stay busy enough to stick around because there's literally nothing else like this anywhere nearby.Highly Recommended."
"Back when I lived in the Woodlawn/Baltimore area, I had a lot of friends who ate Halal, and they put me on the food at Legends. The food tastes great, doesn't cost a lot, and service is relatively fast!Definitely top 3 best gyro platters I've had in my life, the combo (chicken + lamb) is my favorite option with a good amount of white sauce, and a bit of spicy. Their other options are nice as well: the Chicken Sandwich is really delicious, nicely fried so it's crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, the cheese steak is alright in my opinion. They also have a College Park location which I definitely wish was around when I was attending university! Legends is definitely up there with some of the best Halal gyro spots in the DMV, no doubt."
"Hubby and I have been wanting to try this place for a while and tonight was the night. The wings are def jumbo and they have a variety of flavors. We got a 20 piece bone-in wings fried hard and the two flavors we chose were Lemon Pepper and Golden BBQ.My husband ordered a regular size Sweet Potato Fry and I got a side salad. They also gave us 4 ranch dipping sauces and some celery on the side. The 4 ranch dipping sauces were very much appreciated because some places only give you 2 and charge extra for more. Here is the breakdown:Lemon Pepper- 3 out of 5 (flavor was lemon on the skin but nothing on the inside)Golden BBQ- 4 out of 5 (this flavor was my favorite, I am not a big fan of jumbo wings) Sweet Potato Fries- 5 out of 5, these were so good and my husband really enjoyed them Side Salad- 1 out of 5 (I had a lot of old lettuce in my salad but then again who orders salad from a wing place, I have learned my lesson lol)Ranch- 5 out of 5, BOMBOVERALL WE WILL RETURN TO TRY MORE FLAVORS AND THOSE SWEET POTATO FRIES."
"Stopped by this place on a rainy Thursday night. The place was empty but looked so welcoming and bright. I think it's a family owned business. Everyone I encountered was super friendly. The restaurant is very spacious with plenty seating, both booth and table options. They serve peri peri chicken, lamb, and vegetarian rice bowls, wraps and platter. I for some reason opted for a beef burger and it did not disappoint. I'm typically a medium rare person on my burger but since you don't get an option the well done burger I received was flavorful and not dry!! The burger was topped with onion, tomato, lettuce, sweet pickle and perimayo. I decided to wash my sandwich down with one of their delicious mocktail options, Peach mojito. The mojito was nice and refreshing without a mint overkill. I highly recommend this place for friendly service, spacious environment and well prepared food. I hope to see this place packed the next time I stop in."
"The food was so good for dinner that I had to come back the next day for breakfast. I've seen many opinions of the food so here is mine. If your looking for some soul food--- this place is for youIf you don't mind seasoning on your food (I know I do!) --this place is for you. If your from the south or the Caribbean islands and you want something that taste like yo Mud (if u don't know thin ya douno) dipped her big toe in---this place is for you!My son and I almost ran back up here and smacked the people in the back after we tasted our food! For dinner we had Salmon Cakes with Candied Yams & rice and gravy. I got what I craved... chitterlings and Mac N Cheese Meatloaf. Then I went back for breakfast and tore up someFish and grits and eggs. Sooo yes, I loved it! The portions were huge! The morning crew was nicer than the evening crew. But I didn't go to make friends. I went to eat and the food was BANGING!"
"Still great! But breakfast is better during the week. I had to ask them to make coffee. They were very nice and did but I felt like I was putting them out. $5 brisket egg and cheese is the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. They kill it every time. They open at 6 Tuesday-Friday. At 10 on the weekends."
