The chicken orders are quick, but stir fry plates like Lomo saltado will take another 5 minutes or so.The half chicken order came with two sides and we chose yucca fries and plantains. The yucca fries had a good crispy texture while fluffy and chewy inside. The plantains were sweet and caramelized which was a good balance to the well seasoned (salt forward) chicken and beef in the lomo saltado. The stir fried beef pieces were super tender and delicious with the gravy soaked fries and rice. The generous serving size fed us three well with left overs."

We climbed a flight of stairs and were seated right in front of the kitchen. To our delight, everything on the counter was ginormous and looked absolutely delicious. We ordered a couple of drinks and proceeded with our food choices:Smoked Trout Dip w/ chives, roe & ritz crackers - really good balanced smoking. Good creamy texture, no chunky fish pieces found!Deviled Eggs Sampler that includes traditional, lump crab & pimento cheese - good..BUT not enough crabbiness for me. Hash Browns & Caviar w/ crème fraiche & chives - good crunchiness, caviar added a good burst of salty goodness to the dish. Duck Benny - sliced magnet duck breast, hot honey mustard hollandaise, chow chow on an open faced biscuit - the duck was a tad dry, hollandaise had a good pucker to it. The Mensch - everything flavored biscuit, smoked trout spread, pickled red onions, sprouts, fried egg, avocado and a side of grits - this was by FAR the BEST dish of the morning. That smoked trout spread is very tasty. BTW, this was the BEST tasting grits I've ever had. I first thought it was mixed with quinoa but nope just grits. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this dish. Chicken Waffle Sammie - crispy chicken thigh, benne seed miso hot honey, coleslaw, pimento cheese & liege waffle - Oooooo, this was a ginormous sandwich, well worth your time and money! Everyone at the table liked it and everyone surrounding us had ordered one as well. Personally, I prefer a tad sweeter sauce, but don't get me wrong, I swallowed my piece of the sandwich!It's a fun place! The food is good. The service is fantastic. Not sure what parking is like, we were on a walking tour through the neighborhood."

"Our family loves Peruvian chicken. It is a favorite of our whole family. My son was picking up Poyoteca for the two of us. I wasn't feeling well and he was so sweet to bring dinner over. Sorry, I just was not a fan. The chicken tasted spicy to me. I don't know if someone heavy handed the turmeric, but it did not taste good. Now, people who like the spice, may enjoy this chicken. The yucca were very good. They were hot and crispy. We also ordered the rice and beans. They were fine. My son picked up the food and the service was good. It didn't take long for the order to be ready. The ambiance is clean and attractive. My son really enjoyed his meal. I just think that we are lucky enough to be in an area with lots of Peruvian chicken restaurants. This one was not a favorite of mine."

"I came to Zauq Halal Kitchen after seeing all the amazing reviews online. It's on the same road as security mall but further down. The turn is very easy to miss. It's also attached to a smoothie place.They not only have halal stuff, but they also have some American food too. Their zinger chicken sandwich is pretty good and it is very crispy. I always get the loaded fries here. It is delicious and super filling. You can get chicken or lamb but I always stick to lamb when it comes to halal places. They literally drench the fries in all the toppings. It can be a little heavy so be careful if you're planning on order more than 1 item. I recently tried their mixed gyro platter and that was great too! You should definitely check out Zauq Halal Kitchen if you are in area and like halal food."

"I have always seen this place but never thought to try it. Had a craving for some lomo saltado, they had it on the menu, so why not. Ordered two; one for me and one for the him. It takes ten minutes to make, so I went to grab something from the grocery store next door. It looked like it was a fairly nice potion for the price point, which is less than other restaurants. I noticed that there were smaller pieces of beef and not as many veggies. Also, the French fries were definitely of the frozen ore ida variety. All in all it was okay in a pinch, I didn't mind it. The rice had a great flavor, the beef had a nice flavor too, but needed to be cooked more. The fries were an afterthought. I wish they put in more veggies. The hubs said it was a no go for him...Can't say that I'd come back for this dish."

When I arrived at the restaurant, all the meals were hot and ready. Customer service was great! The manager helped me carry the bags to the car and was excited and grateful for our business. The restaurant is clean, very well maintained. The food, oh the food! No other word needs to be described, but delicious! I had the vegetable sample, and I chose 4 sides for $10.99. My black beans were flavorful and yummy. Loved my Brussels and carrots, the balsamic glaze, delish! Plantains and Mac and Cheese, oh so good! Every single co-worker loved their choices as well. Fryers is pretty popular roadside cafe and I understand why.We got a to go order here after bowling and went with the Cuban sandwich, chicken fingers, an ice cream cone, and a side of pickles . Before I got home, I decided to try a few pickles and these homemade pickles were amazing so I had to know if the Cuban sandwich was gonna be pretty good. As a heads up the pork and the Cuban sandwich is actually barbecue pork so it's a little different than what you're usually expecting. As predicted it was. The fried chicken fingers were huge and very flavorful and fried to absolute perfection. I got the Kansas City barbecue as the dip, and I love the sweetness of that sauce. The fingers came with two sweet Hawaiian rolls which I can't comment to because the toddler stole them.So if you're driving down New Hampshire one of these days, please be sure to stop in."

Signage says "chicken".I ordered two papusa revueltas and black beans. Papusas are my jam! These days this warms my heart and my belly. The papusa like most places comes with slaw and a sauce. The slaw is yummy but I also prefer mine with a bit more spice so I don't generally use my own sauce.The papusa was delightful but came a part as I was eating it, I'm not used to that. I think it was because they were packed with goodness. The slaw was delish, I really enjoyed it. The beans were aiight, a little under seasoned for my taste, but that can be fixed. I will be returning, because my belly is happy!"

So I went in with the added joy of discovering that they have fried oysters! Such a random allotment of foods but maybe good? It's all or nothing. I got three tenders and 5 fried oysters. Firstly, the fried oysters are surprisingly good. They look really basic but they are dense and juicy. I'll be back because I love fried oysters and this place is quick! I also got three tenders. Oh the tenders are huge! Perfect sizes! Thick flavorful and juicy. Mine were fresh right out of the deep fryer. I am tearing up while writing this. It was that good. Big fat juicy hot tenders. "Hangry Joe's is another fried chicken joint. Mostly chicken fingers but you can also get a "sando" or sandwich (I learn new lingo everyday). Basically fingers and fries. These are different fingers though -- the breading I believe has a sort of Korean-ish taste to it, with varying degrees of heat from none to volcano. Not my favorite but I won't downgrade a rating just because I personally don't like the flavors. It is good. My buddy loves it.One huge plus -- these are all cooked to-order so it was amazingly fresh --- and HOT. We actually had to sit back and stare at our food for a couple of minute before we could eat to let it cool down a bit.We ordered at a small kiosk and in a few minutes the waitstaff brought our food.This place is great if you like chicken fingers with a different flair. I don't know if I'll go again, but I know my buddy will."

However, the chicken is more than outstanding. It was tender and falls off the bone. The flavor explodes into your taste buds. Colonel Sanders of KFC fame uses 11 secret herbs, and spices. I don't think Don Pollo stops short of 25. I recommend eating here. The side dishes are not much to talk about, but the chicken is easily in my top five."

"I heard about this place and decided to stop by since I was in the area. The cashier was patient as I figured out what I wanted. The food was prepared timely and they wait to make sure the togo order is correct. Wish the seating was fully open but they still block off every other table. The spring roll is basically a small egg roll. Not a fan of the eggroll but others liked it. The steak bowl and shrimp bowl were quite large for to go. The bowl is basically your meat choice over fried rice. The rice wasn't completely fried as there was still some white rice mixed in. The shrimp and steak is good and plentiful. The steak is large cuts of meat which isn't bad but it would be nice if cut a little smaller but still same portion. They have yum yum sauce that you can pump in portion cups by the soda fountain. It's nice that you can portion your own. I like it so far and will come back. Maybe to try the fried chicken next."

While in line another manager checked in on me and after that I guess the head manager offered to take my order. 3 different people in the span of less than 10mins. I ordered my food and it was ready in like 7 minutes! I don't know if it was the service or what but the chicken was absolutely succulent and spicy..best Nando's experience I've had in awhile..Bravo!"

In fact the last time I was there with another co-worker of mine she felt compelled to say something to him about his attitude. it didn't do any good because today he was still the same. Unfriendly and uninviting. It's a great shame, too, because the food is really good! The two co-workers I took there today loved the gyros and the onion rings. The prices are reason for what you get. I liked this sandwich infinitely more than the famous Ekiben. I got the sweet and spicy fried chicken sandwich and it was incredible! Like 10/10! Reminded me of a much better take on the chick-fila sandwich with the sweet and spicy sriracha sauce. My friend enjoyed her garlic chicken sandwich. They are polite and will let you sample things if it's your first time. I always get the bowl but I've heard great things about the half chicken, carne asada, and yucca. My bowl always has the rice, black beans, pico, mozz, and green spicy sauce. The green beans are a must! So good. Honestly best green beans I've ever had. If you're in Greenbelt, you have to try it."

They make it to-order so you can call ahead with your order if you dislike waiting.Despite the name, the absolute best thing about this place is not the fried chicken (which is great and crispy crunchy, just as promised) but the lamb over rice. For $10, you get delicious halal cart-style spiced minced lamb cooked with green bell peppers and onions over basmati rice with white yogurt sauce and spicy red sauce, along with a side of crisp lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers. 1 box contains a generous serving, enough for 2 meals. They also have chicken over rice, but I have not tried it yet.Definitely my new favorite place for halal food -- photos can't capture how delicious it is!"

"This location is brand new and is hosting a grand opening event in November. We stopped in and noticed they have a kiosk where you can place your order if you don't want to stand in line. We decided to go the old-school route and order with an employee. I ordered the honey garlic chicken sandwich + 1 side and opted for the onion rings. My wife ordered the Nashville hot chicken. When I opened the bag to start the meal I was surprised to see three sauce containers (everyone knows I love my sauces). Two were a garlic dipping sauce which I assumed were for dipping the sandwich into. The other was a oil mixture that may have been for the onion rings. I could be wrong but that's how I ended up using them and they were superb. First of all, if you are a garlic lover then this is your sandwich. As someone who can eat baked garlic paste alone, I felt right at home. The rings themselves were cooked perfectly and had a fresh taste to them. The onion ring sauce starts off mild but then leaves a HOT! flavor. This place tops Roaming Rooster and all the other halal sandwich shops around. My new fav."
