"My family and I came to Joe Benny's while they were in town for the weekend and had a great dinner. We got there fairly early for dinner and were seated right away. It's pretty small, so don't be surprised if there's a wait! I got the Fancy Nancy focaccia pizza (basil pesto, roasted eggplant, lemon whipped burrata, arugula tossed in balsamic). It was SO incredibly delicious. I love thick crust on pizza, so getting to eat all of these delicious toppings on focaccia bread was basically my dream pizza. They originally brought out the wrong pizza for me, so there was about a 15 minute delay between when my family got their pizza and when I got mine, but they were nice enough to waive the cost of my pizza from our bill! Best free pizza I've ever had. Can't wait to come back soon and try some other menu items!"
"Picture driving up to a 3 bay auto repair garage on the right and questioning is this really a restraunt in the left? Can this be Jerry's Place? Only to find the best little seafood restraunt with amazing food, friendly staff and great service. Such a cozy dinning room filled with happy customers. Greeting you at the door like family."
Our "Best Balls on the Block" with melted Burrata Mozzarella cheese, sauce, parm, focaccia bites. Starters come with focaccia bites.

"Food is always amazing. Staff and space is great as well. Our go to local spot! Never misses"
"Stopped by during St. Patrick's Day weekend for some of their specials and the Cajun Coast food truck. All menus are inside including the one for Cajun Coast food truck. The place is kept clean and all the staff members are friendly. Lots of families and young children are always here on the weekends. The wait for food was short and Irish music was playing as we enjoyed the specials. Everything was delicious. The corned beef and brussel sprout cheesesteak was stuffed with meat; would've liked a bit more of the sprouts as my child really liked them. The Cajun catfish was po boy was well seasoned and flavorful. Both po boy and cheesesteak weren't very heavy. The Irish stout stew poutine was good. The fries were not soggy despite being smothered in beef stew and cheese. There were plenty of beef chunks and soft carrots and onions. The Irish Old Fashioned Cocktail was also delicious: Irish whiskey, green tea, peach nectar, and cardamom bitters. If I had more stomach space, I would've liked to order all the specials."
"The view of the river is so beautiful but the food was even better! We got the jerk wings, Plantains and spicy beef patties. Everything was really delicious, with fantastic flavors and just the right amount of spice. I got a strawberry Long Island ice tea which was great and not too sweet. During happy hour it's on sale for $8. Even though I paid full price it was worth it. The server was very helpful and attentive especially Dre who kept coming back to make sure everything was good. I can't say enough good about this place. Great food! Good drinks! Beautiful location! Great service!"
"Located in Parkville, Mastellone's is a charming old world deli. They are part of Di Pasquale's-their products were on the shelves and in the freezers & menu items are similar.Got here around 1:30 for a late lunch. We ordered the Old World Italian (my favorite!) & the Mozarella Caprese. Both sandwiches were excellent & similar to the ones at Di Pasquale's-with generous fillings and fresh sub rolls. Tried the Tuna Diavolo & it was ok. I would add the olive spread if I order the Tuna again. They do have their olive spread for sale. Also, ordered the Porketta. Their version was different from Di Pasquales with thin slices of pork. It was okay but wouldn't order this one again (Been spoiled by the thicker slow roasted pork with provolone & Rapini version at Di Pasquale's). Although smaller, similar to Di Pasquale's, an abundant amount of Italian specialties and good selection of wine and beer.Friendly servers at the counter and at checkout. Now our deli stop when in Parkville!"
"The staff is always so nice and helpful. The sandwiches are delicious and prepared quickly."

Enjoyed the best balls on the block (beef and pork blend) topped with some burrata cheese, and paired with homemade focaccia bread. We loved the fiery eater pizza (torn pepperoni, pickled jalapeños, crushed pepper, mikes hot honey). Perfectly crispy, fluffy, and melty. Next time we'll get the chicken parm sandwich or joe Benny Italian sandwich, or meatball sub!Servers and bar tenders were friendly and greeted us when we entered. Also they have a hilarious menu with witty comments sprinkled throughout!!

We went for a Monday night Puzzle event. They specialize in a wide variety of craft brews, cheesesteaks, HUGE Soft Pretzels, hot dogs and pub apps. Place is clean, puzzles and games can be found on the shelf as you walk in or bring your own to enjoy. There's a small bar space and communal tables throughout the space as well as outdoor seating space along the front. Staff is very friendly. Parking is tricky, which is a drawback. After 5:30p you can park at the American Security Bank Parking lot, 2 driveway entrances away (so it's a little walk).Orders are taken at the bar, you'll get a table indicator and your food will be brought to you wherever you decide to sit. Everything was served hot and promptly. We ordered a MoCo Chicken Cheesesteak (you can choose your protein from chicken to ribeye to Brussel Sprouts). You can also build a sub with a good variety of choices. I also got the Brussel Sprouts with Feta appetizer. Both were DELICIOUS!Restrooms were clean. No service charges on the tab. They also have Bingo and trivia nights.

As a former employee I was super excited to hear that they reopened! I went during a pretty slow time so the bar was ready for me, the service was fast and polite. I wanted to be biased and not have anything bad to sad but I must say I was disappointed that festival is no longer on the menu but ALLL the flavors and true authentic taste is still there. I absolutely love what Bammys has done for the inside, the patio and bar both are appealing and I can't wait to see how the seasons brings for Bammys!

Once again Mastellone's was on point. Eggplant parm sando and cannoli filled to order. A little gem in northeast Baltimore!

We were checking out at the garden center when we asked the cashier if the sandwiches at Old Town Market were good. He said he had tried some and yes, they were very good. When we entered the store the staff seemed much friendlier and energetic than when we've been before. We studied the extensive sandwich board and decided on a turkey with brie cheese. We got it home and it was way enough for two of us. The sandwich was delicious. The roll was just the way I love them, fresh but with a little chew. There was a generous amount of turkey that was smothered in melted brie cheese and a slather of sauce. It was so good. While we were waiting for our sandwich I noticed a "crunchy" vegetable salad which we decided to try. At first bite it seemed a little sweet--dried cranberries, raisins? Not sure, but it was good and after first bite I started liking it. Guess I just wasn't expecting sweet. Kensington is quickly becoming our go-to carry out lunch area.

Ok. It's Alonso's. Thursday. Hit and miss over the years. Mostly hit... honestly. I keep going back because of the service. And the food. Sometimes... oftentimes, it's quite good. Pizza, burgers and wings. Calamari. They have new management and people from the Dizz. Reset. Foodies at the bar. Restaurant ownerTonight I looked at the menu. Lots of good options, the Rachel burger is always good, possibly the plain LTM & cheese. Maybe barbecue chicken pizza, often nice.I went for the crab cake platte at $24. Was $10 per cake as a salad add-on so I asked how many and of course, two. Comes with crispy fries. Sorry for the long buildup but these were the best crab cakes I've had in a very long while. Lumpy. Can taste the old bay... and crab. See the picture, I could only finish one. Sorry that you're looking at leftovers but I didn't expect this. This is a top notch crab cake. It is exactly what I hope for a crab cake to be. No special drizzle or remoulade on top, nothing fancy but well priced and worth the trip. I really mean it!Thanks Alonso's and have a good one. Great service as always btw. Sit at the bar for the best casual, no pressure, friendly, good-food experience.Update 4/1/20Only FOOLS would not order delivery from here!! Man, same amazing crab cakes and a perfectly cooked burger. Wingers are awesome and Parmesan garlic tots are crispy. Order nobefore it's too late!!!Update 7/3Oh man,Crabcake platter: It's like I'm eating crabs with my family on the porch and I'm back in the 70's. The flavor is perfect. Creamy, meaty lumpy Chesapeake goodness. Nailed it for the fifth time.

"This is a great little neighborhood find. You have some truly local bartenders that are all quite friendly and attentive. The food (of what I've had) is quite good bar food and generous portions -always enough to bring home for the doggy. The dessert selection is always memorizing and we had several delicious desserts (highly rec the key lime or carrot cake). Pretty good beer/drink selection- only suggestion is to have a beer menu as it's often hard to tell what they have on draft or in cans."
"Convenience that can't be beat. We love stopping into Canton Crossing for all of our adult beverage needs. Their selection is excellent, they always have what we need. The staff is always helpful in locating what we can't find on our own or even making suggestions. They even have a rewards program! I forget how much you have to spend but you'll ultimately qualify for a coupon/discount off your purchase. They have parking and their prices are fair. Once I called in trying to locate something special for my husband for his birthday, they didn't carry that particular whiskey but they offered to order it for me. Very accommodating!"
"We found this jewel after being disappointed with the liquor store, Village Green Spirit Shop. We were pleasantly greeted and asked if we were looking for a specific drink. The employees are pleasant. Sabrina specifically stands out, she was very friendly and helpful! She was also very knowledgeable about the various drinks they sell. The drink selection is out of this world! They sell drinks I've never heard of or seen! If you're looking for unique beers, vodka, whisky in various sizes look no further. Jason's has all types of juices, waters, gadgets, candy, snacks, and as well. The service was was so good we came back on Sunday and Sabrina remembered us! She also gave us some great tips! I don't live in the area but I will definitely return!"
"Great little market near the University of MD Medical Center. Big selection of wine and beers, including White Claw and Truly for us hard seltzer folks! They also have snacks, chips, cookies and a small grocery section in case you're in a pinch for any veggies or cheeses. The place is bright and clean and the man behind the counter was very nice and helpful!"
"I had been here years ago when I lived in the neighborhood and my husband and I frequent it now especially when we don't feel like dealing with parking on the avenue/Wine Source. The staff is always friendly and helpful and I have enjoyed going to a wine tasting downstairs in their cellar. They have a decent selection of wine, craft beers, and spirits. Prices are comparable to Wine Source. Once I had a money mix up with Rakesh and I didn't get a receipt and am pretty sure I overpaid by $ 20 but it was my fault for being distracted and not asking for a receipt. Now I always ask for receipts, despite Rakesh not working there anymore.Overall it's a solid neighborhood shop and I am glad it's nearby."
"Town Tavern is a local spot where you can have a drink, good eats, and pick up alcohol to go. No one messes with you so having a drink is peaceful here. My Ruben was good. My buddy loved his burger. Nothing outstanding here but it's done right. We were not locals and they treated us like we were. Very friendly. I'd go back for sure. Till next time...."
"I wasn't sure what to expect- but this place was really amazing. It's tucked back from the main road, and looks like it could be a let down. But inside- they have EVERYTHING! Beer, wine, liquor- even craft beer from all over the world. I am super impressed!"
"This is your typical east side liquor store with easy booze for the masses. Located right next to the Patterson theater and a few blocks from the park so duck in here for your half pint before you have your lazy day in the park (what? everybody does that...right?)They have an ATM inside and there's always a local dude propped up against it. I'll have to learn his name next time I'm in there because he seems to be the local night watchman. Friendly and helpful. Local hon's behind the counter are quick with your half-pint order too. What else can I say? You want booze? Come get some."
"I wanted to grab a bottle of wine so I didn't have to spend the same amount of money on a glass at a restaurant during my stay in Baltimore. I was in the area and decided to stop by here. This is just your typical liquor store. The one thing I wish they would've offered is "build your own 6 pack." So I could've tried some local brews or just grabbed one, but I had to buy a 6 pack and didn't want to take the risk. It was good, the clerk was friendly, and the wine was moderately priced. Nothing I'd go out of my way to recommend to anyone."
"What a find! We stumbled on this deli/liquor store on New Year's Day. We had intentions of going to Angelina's but they weren't open. We were quite surprised how yummy the food tasted. Nicely prepared and good portions. This is our second time going there. I think we have found our sandwich and sub shop!"
