Cynthia B. "Great service. The business is reminiscent of a general store with ample seating for dining in and they're well stocked w/everything from Fisher's caramel corn from "down ne ocean" to beer & liquor. They're also open on Sunday's.Sadly, the food was disappointing. It's NOTHING like what was served when the company was located in Owings Mills. I'm a believer of the saying you eat w/your eyes first so I knew immediately that my dish wasn't up to par... the eggs scrambled w/cheese weren't scrambled, they were folded and the cheese was laid on the top. The silver dollars pancakes were too dense, I only ate around the edges. The bacon was passable. We were a party of three and unfortunately, no one enjoyed their food.I'm giving an extra star b/c although the salad bar isn't as well stocked as the previous location, it looked fresh & delicious. I'm also factoring in the cleanliness of the restroom with paper towels instead of a blow dryer that makes me have to use my clothing to open the door to avoid contaminating my hands again. I would t eat here again."

I was in Federal Hill for a Yelp event, actually, when I found myself armed with tacos and nowhere to enjoy them. Across the street was plenty of outside tables and an open front door to a gritty looking bar called "Nobles." Thinking a beer is a beer no matter where you get it, and beer and tacos do a perfect afternoon make, I crossed Charles Street and encountered V. V got me a beer and invited me to enjoy my food from elsewhere on the outside sidewalk seating out front. She even brought me water and utensils! She was delightful, colorful, and an onslaught of the most positive vibes!"

Hindsight being 20/20, I made a BIIIIG mistake. Fast forward to now. Stopped by on the way home from a road trip with my Spousal Unit. It was late, we were hungry, so gave it a shot. Still a few bikes in the lot, still a few bikers at the bar, but the place did not look anything like the rough and tumble joints I remembered. We ordered burgers and fries - and they were really, really, really good. Meat was a bit more cooked than requested but flavor was excellent and the fixings were fresh. Nice burger! And the fries: oh the fries! Crispy exterior, soft interior, well salted - I've now found fries I like more than Five Guys and McDs. So let me apologize for stereotyping them based on appearances. I'm happy to come back, and will bring my golf buddies so they can see what we missed."

We had been talking about finding a place that serves Ethiopian cuisine and after doing my research I found that this location came highly recommended. When we arrived we were immediately greeted and sat. Soon after our server arrived with water, and showed us the QR code to pull up the menu. They have a full bar at this location and so we ordered a few drinks while ordering for our food. Now, let's talk about the star of the show, the food. We opted for the veggie deluxe combo, which was a colorful platter the showcased the rich flavors of yellow peas, split lentils, kale, carrots, potatoes, black beans, red beets, cabbage, green beans, and salads. The freshness of the ingredients was immediately evident. We also got the Doro Wot which were chicken legs simmered in flavorful sauce with incised hard boiled eggs. If you've never had Doro Wot...OMG!The Lega Tibs might've been top 5 steak dishes I've ever had. So tender and super flavorful I don't think there's anything I could compare it with to give it proper justice. Just wow!You can tell that the ladies running this restaurant really care about the food they're serving, and want people to have a good experience when they come. They would come and check on us to see how things were going, but they had already won us over after the first couple of bites. One of the ladies suggested the honey wine, and if, actually WHEN you come "GET IT". It was sooo good. They weren't super busy while we were here, but it was Thursday and between rush hour and dinner time but again we had a great time. We rarely venture out to silver springs, but it looks like that's about to change."

Alexis B. "I had dinner at Peter's Inn with my husband and a friend for her birthday recently. It's one of her favorite restaurants in the city, and she chose it for her birthday dinner! The menu at Peter's Inn changes all the time. When you arrive, you receive a handwritten menu with their offerings that day. So most of what we tried might not be on the menu anymore, but here's what we ate: an endive salad; tuna tartare; a NY strip with mashed potatoes, a few green beans, a carrot, and a pickle spear; their creamed spinach; a lobster pot pie; a mango sorbet; a lemon sorbet; and a chocolate pot de creme. I wouldn't say that any of the food was very memorable except for that creamed spinach (they add Pernod, which gives it a great flavor); I was skeptical when our waiter recommended we ordered the creamed spinach (it's not usually very good, is it?!), but it was the standout for me of the whole meal. I do like the menu and would be willing to go back to try more of their food - mostly because the rest of the experience was a standout for me. The ambiance and the service were exceptional! We sat at a table outside, which was perfect. The seating is in front of the restaurant on the sidewalk, so it couldn't feel more like a neighborhood bistro! And our waiter was just wonderful; he was personal, funny, chatty, helpful,...he was just great. And it was clear he loves Peter's Inn. On my first visit, the food didn't blow me away. But the experience did. I'll be back. A wonderful neighborhood spot in the heart of Fells Point!"

I come here often mainly for dinner--arriving into the complex, the parking lot is very dark and not well lit, but don't be fooled, once you get inside it's well lit and has a nice fancy vibe. Food is AMAZING! Top recommendations are the Chicken Tikka Masala/Butter Chicken, Lamb Shank, Garlic Naan or Goat Cheese Naan and Fish Curry! Their Butter Chicken is the best I've had in the DMV area--so delicious especially if you dip the naan bread in the masala sauce--I usually request for extra sauce on the side. The Lamb Vindaloo and Beef Tenderloin are good too! Portions are huge, so expect to get very full.Service is always great--love sitting at the bar because all the bartenders are super cool. Anyway, back to the food... It is, as the name implies, a typical French bistro. We arrived when they were serving brunch. Five of us ordered three different things. Everyone was very happy. I ordered the croque monseur. It was phenomenal! The meal came with really good french fries and robust Guyear cheese, perfectly toasted. The fries were actually better than five guys for any french fry connoisseurs is out there... One in our party ordered the soup of the day, fresh mushroom soup, with a side of bread. She was very happy with that. And the others ordered crêpes, which were apparently quite delicious. The prices were reasonable and the espresso drinks were authentic and very good. We were seated at a nice table on the glass panels overlooking the narrows. I started with my sugar plum martini for $11. I also enjoyed my usual tuna sashimi for $19.50. I ended my lunch with my usual draft Devil's Backbone for $6.50. My total bill was $101 excluding gratuity. Grant R. served us very well. I returned here again on the Sunday after Christmas at 2 pm. This time the place was packed with customers, therefore we could not sit on a table on the glass panels but we did have a table one table away from the glass panels. This time I started with my bourbon smash for $12. I again enjoyed my tuna sashimi for $19.50. My tuna sashimi tasted great both times. I figured this new spot would be worth a try, and overall, it didn't disappoint! The ambience is absolutely gorgeous. We went for dinner, but I can only imagine how stunning it must be during the day with the waterfront view. It's a great setting for catching up with family and friends. The food was really good and definitely reminded me of home. We started with oysters, corn, cornbread, and deviled eggs--all delicious. I also tried a pickled martini for the first time; while it wasn't my favorite, it was still an interesting experience. For dinner, we had the catfish and grits, chicken and waffles, and the hanger steak with fries. Everything was well-seasoned and flavorful. The service was solid--friendly and attentive. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that while everything was good, nothing completely blew me away. Still, I'd absolutely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for quality Southern-inspired food in a beautiful setting."

My spouse got Chicken Quesadilla, and there was Old Bay poured all over his rice, certainly didn't make sense. He didn't eat his rice another dish thrown out. Then I had ordered the 2 Crab Cakes broiled, Crab Mac & Cheese and fries. The cook, had Old Bay in the Crab Cake mixture, then they had poured Old Bay all over the top both Crab Cakes. 1st crab cake was good except for the Old Bay, which I tried pulling off but was impossible. It didn't contain a lot of breading! Seriously they need to consider cutting back on it. Let the customers put extra Old Bay on their meals if they want it. The 2nd Crab Cakes despite having had lots of Old Bay too and lots of breading mixture too. I wasn't impressed the least. The Mac & Cheese clearly came out of a box, there was real no cheddar cheese added, yet again Old Bay all over the top of the crab meat, only are part of the Mac & Cheese. Then I tried the fries, ended up leaving them uneaten, the cook heavily poured salt all over the French Fries. Otherwise they would had been good without so much salt. Our meals cost us $80 plus additional money for tip. The waitress was filling in for their friend on New Year's eve. She was kind, we tipped her, but we definitely won't be back."

He was attentive enough not to be annoying which I appreciate. Only hit was the host who looked angry and bothered that we should be eating there or that anyone was eating there at all. Please remove that kind of employee from the greeting area. When you are expected to pay X-hundreds for dinner the last thing you want is a sour faced host seating you at 5pm. Rant done but that took a star off (Yelp add half stars) cause she would have cost 1.5 stars off. My cousin was ok with it when she and I entered but I was not.Food was awesome! My cousin who has been an Elite for 14 years (she knows I should have been an elite the same amount of time but my elites back then were lame) and I walked the pier as we waited for my family trapped in a parking lot after graduation. We went in early and had some appetizers and drink. The crab dip and poke nachos were yum. Once family came we asked for more bread and were provided it as the portion for appetizers was surprisingly large. Cameron delivered everything on time and in sequence.Entrees were awesome and I ordered surf and turf. The lobster tail was a good size and the steak done to medium rare as asked. It was tasty and delicious. My aunts and dad liked their foods and they ordered seafood as well. The dining experience was superb. Price is fair, maybe high but along the lines of Scott's Seafood and Grill in San Francisco and Oakland, CA but a tad cheaper and not a table cloth experience. Though the Oakland Scott's location has a view of the Bay, Philips did not seem to have a view of Baltimore Harbor however, they do have patio seating outside. No way were we dining out in 40ish degree weather. Food is legit and that was nice considering we were starving. Cameron delivered everything on time and in order. I did have a really good fruity cocktail and a killer local Baltimore beer.Ambiance was nice but unspectacular as well. It is a typical sit down style eating area with open sections. Can't really complain but no wow factor. It was nice to reconnect with an Aunt who remembered me as a little kid so chatting with her was nice. Places where you can chat without screaming is so nice. Overall it was a nice place to celebrate my cousin's graduation and everyone was chatty so it was awesome! Now when I move back east, would I come back here? No lie. I always order a few stews, the jollof, the pounded yam, the ginger drink and a couple different proteins and eat off of it for the week. It's delish. It really is, although it's not perfect. I do have a few issues... the containers for the stews aren't always filled, sometimes, the jollof is sometimes dry (it would be so nice to offer a lil condiment container of red pepper stew w/ the jollof), sometimes the efo riro is too spicy and not made w/ enough crawfish. I've ordered maybe 30x since this review (maybe more). I'm not a hater, I promise. I just prefer authentic cuisines that are made by those of that culture. Given no options, this is close enough."

We were not kid-free this particular night and I hear that this place can get rowdy, so it was not somewhere I wanted to take our sons. The order took a very long time to be fulfilled. I'm talking an hour and a half long. Who would have thought it would take so long to fry some rice and a couple egg rolls. It was also the most I have ever paid for Asian cuisine, so I was really hoping that they lived up to the hype. The egg roll was really good, I especially like they house-made duck sauce. Honestly, if I had known the egg roll would have been so filling, I would have just ordered that. The ride on the other hand was good but nothing to write home about. Personally, I like vegetables in my fried rice, but their was only onions and a little egg. For the costs of the fried rice, I wasn't impressed. It would look like a transplanted prison hut if it wasn't for the simplistic red, white, and blue decorations outside and the beer signs in each window, so instead it looks like a liquor store serving the Republican National Convention. The inside is very nice, now a wide open space with new furniture and clean wooden floors. Large TVs adorn the walls, making this a great place to catch a game. Train decorations adorn the walls in a nod to its heritage, although even with all the changes this place does not have much of an identity. The food and drink options are the same as always. A full bar with limited beer and wine options, basic American fare and pub grub. Both okay with better prices than the city center or other more populated areas. The wings are big and cooked well, and both the Garlic Parmesan and the Jamaican Jerk were tasty. The former was a dry rub and the latter had a spicy sauce so if that matters to you be sure to ask how they're served as it isn't marked on the menu. I've had wing snobs tell me they are expensive for what you get, but I'd say the prices are fine.Your mileage may vary, but the old guard servers are friendly and attentive, the new staff is still learning (chatting with tables while ignoring the bar.)
