"This is a great place to go for soups and sandwiches! I've been there a couple of times. I've gotten their London broil, mozzarella, tomatoes and prosciutto sandwiches. They make their rolls on site, so the bread is fresh, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I also have gotten just a bowl of soup; and with cand a piece of that great bread. Lunch time is busy there, but they move the orders fast. There are a few tables to sit and enjoy the sandwiches or you can take it out. I like this place a lot. That's why I'll keep going back"
"Busy, popular bakery at Fell's Point [Baltimore MD]On the waterfront at Fell's Point is this bakery with options for a hearty breakfast or an afternoon snack. Since we just came from breakfast in the same area we just wanted something sweet from the bakery. When we walked inside... this was around noon, the cafe was full, busy at peak lunch time. The queue had two people ahead of me and I proceeded to order a chocolate croissant when it was my turn.... soft, flaky and gently warmed chocolate croissant... could use a little more chocolate inside the pastry but It was okay. It was a quick in and out transaction and experience. Review #3667"

"Wow wow wow wow. My sister ordered six cupcakes from Midnite for me for my birthday, delivered through GrubHub. I am blown away. These are the best cupcakes I've had in a decade of living in Baltimore, and very possibly the best cupcakes I've ever had in my life. So flavorful, rich, and moist. I'm considering taking away a star for ruining me for other cupcakes. Already can't wait for my next order."
"This place is special. The space is small, cozy and welcoming. The staff are very friendly, patient and good natured. It was my first time here and I couldn't decide on what to try because everything looks delicious, so of course I had a few questions. Finally decided on one of the most buttery, flaky, indulgent croissant sandwiches I've ever had in my life and some very good chai. Wrapped this little trip up with some additional pastries and bread and cannot wait to return."
"Harmony Bakery is by far my favorite bakery in the area. It's about 40 minutes from me, but I love to make the trip to stock up on their amazing tasty treats and savory dishes. We first discovered Harmony Bakery several years ago when looking for a bakery that would be able to make a wedding cake safe for me and any of our wedding guests allergies. They did an amazing job with it, it tasted delicious, and the presentation was BEAUTIFUL.My favorite things from Harmony (other than our wedding cake), have to be their cappuccino Oreo, tomato pie, and butternut squash and spinach curry quiche, and their mushroom and spinach tart. It's very small inside, but they get the job done, and I hope they can one day add in another location that is closer to HoCo so I can come much more often."
"The short: big, seemingly popular local spot -- but one that can't handle crowds. The longer: popped in for coffee & donut in the morning at opening (7:30am) and with no one there, but they forgot my drip coffee until I reminded them; they told us to come back when the kitchen opened. I pop back in at 11am on a Monday (holiday) and it's packed. I order at the takeout counter, and 45 mins later I go check on my order, only to learn that the kitchen doesn't have my order ticket?I ask the manager Laura for a refund, and it's issued without question - or frankly - any apology/remorse/explanation. I was given a strange look when I asked for a receipt to prove the refund. The coffee is mid, and customer service was among the top weirdest I've ever experienced. I would recommend avoiding."
"Cunningham's is the cutest place to grab a coffee with a friend or grab breakfast with boyf! Service is always so fast and every one is always so nice there. GET THE CINNAMON TOAST CRUNCH LATTE ITS SO YUMMY!"
"I have heard about this place for a while and I was finally able to stop in.The employees were all very nice and they had plenty of people working so there was no wait. The place was very clean and colorful!I ordered the vanilla cupcake with buttercream chocolate frosting. I wanted to play it safe since it was my first time visiting.I will say that I did not care much for the cupcake. The cake portion was not fresh. The consistency was hard and not soft and fluffy.I really wanted to enjoy it but it just wasn't satisfying."
"The parfait was great! Loved the textures from the crunchy corn flakes, chewy mochi, spongy cake cubes and sweet/savory ice cream. There's a machine for easy ordering and the mini cakes aee convenient for takeout to bring as host/hostess gifts."
"One of my favorite summertime drinks! The Lavender Lemonade is unmatched, refreshing! Sad part is it's seasonal."
"Cute little bakery. Overall, good desserts. I ordered a variety of cupcakes, which were well enjoyed by everyone. The cakes look nice, but there weren't any premade to purchase (they are made to order), so I can't speak to them. If they're anything life the cupcakes, I'm sure they delicious."
"Upon a local recommendation I decided to order a birthday cake to brighten up my baby's day as she graduating and is reluctant to celebrate and I'm almost 3000 miles away. First, the delivery driver went above and beyond to make sure this cake was sent to my daughter's college dorm room, despite the security desk being a total pain about it, and not caring one way or another. My kid and her friends called me Oohing excited about how beautiful the cake was and heard back later it was just as delicious. Yes it ultimately was a really nice birthday and this cake made it so much more special! This is the Cake Royale, chocolate mousse, hazelnut meringue layer, more chocolate and hazelnuts."

Ok the London broil sandwich is fantastic on a French bread baguette. This place is known for it, so I won't waste time telling you about the perfect steak is tender and delicious. What people sleep on is the soup. I had a bowl of the tomato saffron soup which came with the softest mini loaf of bread. Both myself and my toddler finished a bowl and loaf. Saffron is not something I would think of adding to soup which is weird cause I grew up with saffron in everything including ice cream. It is delectable. This is a great carry out place (very few tables) to check out during their limited daytime hours.

A classic study spot in Fells! I have consistently enjoyed their sandwich selection but have found their drinks to be hit or miss. My favorite sandwich I've had there is the pesto artichoke sandwich with pickled onions, white bean mash, roasted peppers, arugula, pesto, and artichoke. Possibly the best vegan sandwich I've ever had! I've found their matcha to be pretty consistently watery, however, and while the lemonade and palmer were good they were both very pricey. Service was good, but really the price overall is high for me to be a regular. The best part of Pitango has to be the ambiance--the beautiful view, wooden furniture, and music playing all add to the vibes of the place and bring me back time after time.

I recently popped into the Little Italy location of Ovenbird Bakery to pick up a pre-ordered Valentines Day macaron cake and stayed to enjoy a mushroom quiche. Staff was super friendly and warmed it for me and I was so hungry, the quiche was devoured in short order. While much cozier than the Highlandtown location, there is some limited seating. It's fun to meander the streets of Little Italy as well while in the neighborhood.

Amazing bakery! I've gotten sweet treats from here multiple times and most recently had them make my birthday cake. It's been awesome having a bakery that I can eat anything they have. And my birthday cake got great reviews from all my gluten-eating friends too!

A trip to Kneads on a long weekend was chaotic. Popular place at the flagship and staff after the lunch crowd seemed a bit stretched. An hour wait was posted on a board at the entrance, I stepped in and immediately the smell of all things baked goods and roasters hit you not to mention very strong perfumes (whew, ugh) on a very wet day. Loud, indeed it was.The host at the stand that day made sure I knew of the hour wait. Right on. I didn't plan to dine in, and went on to the take out line. The loaves on shelves by the gift shop area were nearly empty and the pastries offered was sparse. I was overwhelmed by the time I got to ordering, I completely ordered the wrong drink and went for the pistachio chai. I requested less ice and with oatmilk. My son chose the cookie butter chai (I switched it to oatmilk) and smoked salmon on everything bagel. We also tried the ube and baklava donuts. It took about 25min for my drinks and another 10min for the smoked salmon bagel. Nearly half an inch less filled, my chai was rich which was yum however too sweet for my liking. The ube donut was picture perfect but the ube flavor was missing. The baklava donut is a great creation and need to mention this one only had a dolop of that creme... whatta tease. My son enjoyed his cookie butter chai and inhaled his smoked salmon bagel. On my way out I learned that Kneads does not replenish items throughout the day and only put out a day's worth of loaves made that morning. All in all it was OK first experience. Parking on the weekends is easy. Accessibility is limited once indoors, and note there is no elevator to the 2nd floor loft space.

Really cute little café and bakery spot in the heart of Towson.I was interested in coming here because Cunningham's as a bakery supplies, high-end bread to some of the high-end restaurants in the Baltimore metropolitan area. I was excited to try their café location out.Unfortunately there are no truly fresh baked items available in the café itself. I was rather surprised... I would've expected a robust bakery to have a wide array of fresh baked items... instead this café is set up like any other standard café. The few baked goods were clearly from the night before or early that morning. Nothing wrong with that, but it misses the opportunity to provide a unique experience.I am giving four stars because the service was excellent, and the coffee and tea selections were interesting and very tasty. if they had something other than the few routine pastries available, I would have given them five stars. There's also a small prepared food menu, and my friend enjoyed the tomato soup for what that's worth.

"**Looks, left & right... scratches neck like an addict** Hey! Got any more of those perfectly baked buttery croissants?! Ya'll Yaaaaaaaaaaaa'llll... hear me when I say: This is it. These croissants will have you wake up in the middle of the night and contemplate a B&E. Yes, a bacon & egg but I was referring to breaking & entering. The baker does NOT over bake. The crust is medium, yes still flaky and the inside..... Dear Lord in heaven... the inside is so chewy. I don't know the reason for life but these croissants will make your living so much greater. Ok now that that's out of the way. Staff is always super friendly, eye contact... I feel like I'm in New Jersey. I would say New York but no one is yelling orders. Food is fresh and high quality. I get the croissant chicken salad sandwich with soup of the day. It hits the spot every time. I will often treat myself to a danish. Yes, they are $5... highway robbery, right?! But Listen, listen, listen Linda.... It makes sense once you eat it. The $5 makes sense. Just shuddup and pay. Today I went in craving chocolate but not wanting dark chocolate. The owner listened to my high pitched PMS cries for chocolate and presented me with the tuxedo cake. BABY! Baby... hear me when I say. That cake made up for every mistake I made in life. That cake told me I was beautiful and that I look pretty in dresses. That cake gave me a hug and told me I did my best. That cake said, I'll play with you, you don't need friends like that anyway! I don't agree with eating your feelings but that cake is like ocean sunshine on a suburban sunshine day. I might tell you a joke, but I'll never tell you a lie... hear when I say... this place is the bees knees. So why aren't you in en route yet? Get in your car. No, really.. get in. Go now!"
"Cake was delicious, even with the American Buttercream instead of Cream Cheese icing."
"Quaint and quirky with excellent coffee and yoghurt. Coffee shop on a bookstore just after the Main Street in downtown Annapolis. Excellent coffee. Terrific service."
"The Banner got it wrong. You've never had a better Italian sub like the one here. Great crusty bread, perfect blend of Italian meats & cheese, and the excellent condiments. The pizza says one thing..."I Love NY!""
"Amazing job by these talented bakers!! They were a pleasure to work with - super responsive and creative. The Yoda they sculpted out of Rice Krispies treats and fondant was a work of art."
"Had two sandwiches here yesterday. Stopped in on a whim when I decided I needed a breakfast sandwich. All the guys working were helpful and kind. Got a bacon sandwich, simple bacon, egg, and Delicious bread. While I was waiting I decided the London Broil sounded too good to pass up and got that as well."
"Stop for coffee across the street from the old railroad station by the river. The best coffee cake and carrot cake my wife and I have had in a long time. Very moist and delicious . Coffee is strong so it keeps you going for your shopping spree. Service is nice- order when you come in and they will deliver it to your table."
"My husband and I just can't get enough of ingrano. So much that we go once or twice a week! It's all so good, we can't help it! This is a culmination of what I've had so far minus some others I forgot to photograph. But honorable mentions are;Our go to - the tamago avocado toast. The sourdough is amazing, the avocados are perfect & the egg is nicely done. I especially love the relish on top. The flavors just pair so well and it makes for a night textured bite! My latte. You won't catch me having anything other than an iced latte with oat milk & candied walnut syrup. It just hits every. Single. Time. The syrup is perfection in my heart. The most meaty and filing breakfast burrito! Stuffed to the brim and accompanied by the best sauce. It's always a hit when we get the burrito. Ham & cheese croissant! I feel like I have tried many ham & cheese croissants. & this is one is in my top rankings for sure. It's so crunchy and cheesy. I love that it has the sesame seeds as well! Did I also mention how cute the interior is? Very pretty decor and plenty of tables! Some outside too!"
"We visited this restaurant twice in one week. So surprised by what is inside. A cute bakery in the front then a full blown restaurant in the back. Well decorated. Sat at the bar each time. Happy Hour is a nice touch!"
"Recently stopped by to get a cake for my daughter. The place feels very inviting and cozy; the pastries all look so delicious. The coffee could be better, it felt a bit watered down. I enjoyed the cakes, but there was a LOT of cream compared to other ones. Would love to try their other pastries. The employees were nice"
"My favorite dish at Weakness for Sweetness is the Jerk salmon with vegetables, plantains and "Bob Marley" rice. The salmon is always fresh and prepared exquisitely. The "Bob Marley" rice is Spanish style yellow rice with seasonings and chopped vegetables. The dish just works. Their jerk is not overly spicy and very flavorful. The curried dishes are worth a try as well. I am a roti addict, and here it is cooked just the way I like it. I still have yet to try their version of Jamaica's national dish, Ackee and salt fish. In most of the dishes you can see and definitely tastes the fresh spices like thyme, allspice, and peppers. They sale extra gravy/sauce like jerk or curry. Get the extra. Also, the Bob Marley rice is a must, even if peas and rice is your go-to. Just add the other rice dish as a side order to compare. The desserts push the stars up a notch. So many fresh baked cakes, breads, pies. The coco bread is so filling and pleasantly so. The red velvet cake has to be my favorite guilty pleasure. Pro tip- make sure to stop in on Jamaican Independence day and Bob Marley's birthday. They add specials to the menu that are outstanding. Lastly, the staff and owner are downright nice. They answer your questions and will let you know if your request can be accommodated, like more rice in lieu of plantains. Just a great place in Prince George's County to get Jamaican cuisine and scratch baked sweets."
"The staff is always so nice and helpful. The sandwiches are delicious and prepared quickly."
"The Best Cannoli in Baltimore! If you follow me on Yelp, I was in Boston last month at Modern Bakery & Bova Bakery trying their cannoli. I'm walking by Vaccaro bakery and I see they're putting in a new bakery case. In front of me is a man directing the show, after reading their website, I'm assuming it's Nick Vaccaro. I ask him, what's your favorite items here?He says the Pignoli cookies are amazing but the cannoli are our specialty. Wow, do you have any with dried fruit or pistachio? He said we do not but I'm going to change your mind with my chocolate chip. He tells the counterperson to wrap up a chocolate chip cannoli. First inspection, the fresh smell is almost intoxicating. I can feel the shell is freshly made. Before I continue, I have to give a shout-out to Vaccaro's Italian Pastry Shop. Opened in 1956, they've been serving Baltimore proud since. I'm glad I didn't see any Elmo cookies like some bakeries in my beloved New York City, catering to the masses. This is a true Pasticceria serving quality Sicilian treats. Now I take a bite. The hard shell is very fresh but the star of the show is the ricotta cream filling. It's silky smooth and has a unique taste. This has to be my top three cannoli I had in my life!Villabate alba - My childhoodModern Pastry - Pistachio cannoli all dayVaccaro's Pastry - Baltimore won my heart with their elegant cannoliIf you're in Baltimore, Vaccaro's is a must stop. Try their cannoli, it's a game changer!"
"Great Harvest bread is very inconsistent. I have had some great food but also been disappointed. They didn't have my online order ( with 5 days notice). And didn't issue the promised refund until after I followed up. On two separate occasions they made me the wrong sandwich. On two occasions my food was delicious. Stick to the baked goods that are ready in advance."
"I love that this is my neighborhood bakery! And I really love the fact that they have something for everyone especially those people like me that have food allergies! Their gluten free carrot cake cupcakes are absolutely amazing! I get about 2 a week and when I was expecting let's just say I was there multiple times a week lol My daughter loves their red velvet cupcakes and cookies and cream cake pops. I've also tried the gluten free cheesecake and that was delicious too! The staff almost feel like family and the shop is small but mighty! Also an added bonus is their rewards system! I've had multiple free desserts and even money off of my tab.Be sure to try Sweet Eden's if you haven't already!"
"There is nothing small about the deliciousness of the desserts at this place. I love ice cream, but then again who doesn't?! A friend recommended that I try the banana pudding ice cream here. A fine recommendation indeed. It was bursting with flavor and banana pudding goodness. The servers were friendly and pleasant, patient and attentive. I also took home 4 of their cupcakes and oh my goodness!!!! The decadence, the moisture, the flavors. Small cakes is a gold medal winner!"
"I had a grubhub mishap and Gary helped fix the issue that wasn't even HIS ISSUE to begin with! His customer service is one I have not seen in a long time! Handles business with care, food was warm, attitude was warm! When I say this guy has a good head on his shoulders I MEAN IT! Thanks you for excellent food along with excellent customer service!"
"This was a little treasure that I happened to find randomly. It gives the neighborhood bakery vibe in any Indian town and if you're an 90s kid, you would totally relate. We got the chocolate and butterscotch pastry, and the cream roll and those were delicious. So fresh and not overly sweet. We also got the chicken puff that was slightly bland, but their Frankie was sooo good! Will definitely be going again!"
"Now I absolutely love coming here for the Adult Grilled Cheese and macaroni salad cause who doesn't love an amazing grilled cheese? I highly recommend it. The flavors of the ingredients on it just work! Now today is the first time I have ever come in here and received subpar service. Now idk if it's cause it's the weekend or what but there was a young man on the register who was doing EVERYTHING...taking orders, making and serving coffee, stocking the condiment counter and doing the DoorDash/UberEats orders all while a young lady stood beside him folding boxes. AND there were two ladies making the food arguing. Well it sounded like they were arguing cause they sure weren't kiking back there. The wait time for service was just crazy as the line behind me was so bad customers walked out. As I'm waiting for my AMAZING sandwich, I see more "workers" emerge but the order taking has stopped altogether. I have been coming here for years the hours just don't buck with my schedule...and when I checked Yelp and saw they were open now, I hurried here. These service hiccups will not deter me from patronage but I will be more conscious about the time I come as it is during "lunch". There is an "Help Wanted" sign hanging at the door too...Today's service is the only reason for less than 5 stars!UPDATED: Sad to report I had to rush back up to the bakery minutes before closing to return my not so awesome adult grilled cheese sandwich. It was made with American cheese instead of smoked Gouda and it didn't appear to have any fig preserves on it. So heart breaking when that's all I wanted...the young man was nice enough to offer to remake the sandwich for me but it was just minutes before closing and it already had taken a long time to get the first one. I politely declined and he offered a refund. Again, none of this will deter me from re-patronizing the bakery. I love this place, faults and all! I bumped up my rating for this..."
"To be extremely transparent, I'm not a big cake eater. As a matter of fact, if cake is offered at an event or at someone's home, I'm usually going to pass. However, if Nothing Bundt Cakes is offered, I'm NEVER going to pass! How can you resist! They're so cute and delicious! The moment you step inside the shop, you're hypnotized by the intoxicating aroma of the cakes that have baked. Vanilla, red velvet, confetti, lemon (one of my personal favorites), carrot, and more are offered in either whole Bundt size cakes, personalized Bundt cake sizes, and even bite size Bundt cake sizes. I'm so happy they decided to make snickerdoodle a year round flavor (it use to be offered only during a select time of the year) but now, you can purchase it whenever you'd like! These little slices of heaven are perfect for dessert, a gift, a wedding shower, for your staff during a meeting, or just a pick me up on a random Wednesday. No matter the flavor of cake, they each have cream cheese frosting. Perfect combination! Nothing Bundt Cakes has a loyalty program and if you sign up for emails, specials and coupons are often sent your way. Do yourself a favor and give them a try! You won't be disappointed!"
"I came here yesterday to check out Enchanted Cakes on Harford Road in Parkville. The interior is fun and colorful. I bought a couple of doughnuts and a large M&M cookie. Everything was delicious and less than $6.They also have ice cream. This looks like a great place for a kid's birthday party, there is a small seating area. Thanks, Enchanted Cakes! I will be back."
"These cookies are so good. Big cookies with big taste. We usually try a 4 pack when we come here. Whatever the flavors are at the time we pick the best 4 that we think we'll like. Not all of them are what we'd want to eat again but for the most part they are. Worth a visit if you've never tried them. We will be coming back. Till next time....."
"Nothing Bunt Cake is wonderful. I am in love with the Buntletts. The food and service are tasty, but I feel they may need at least two people working the counter. I always have to wait a little longer than expected. They have an easy-to-navigate mobile app and a rewards program that I use. I will be returning."
