They make their rolls on site, so the bread is fresh, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I also have gotten just a bowl of soup; and with cand a piece of that great bread. Lunch time is busy there, but they move the orders fast. There are a few tables to sit and enjoy the sandwiches or you can take it out. I like this place a lot. That's why I'll keep going back"

We first discovered Harmony Bakery several years ago when looking for a bakery that would be able to make a wedding cake safe for me and any of our wedding guests allergies. They did an amazing job with it, it tasted delicious, and the presentation was BEAUTIFUL.My favorite things from Harmony (other than our wedding cake), have to be their cappuccino Oreo, tomato pie, and butternut squash and spinach curry quiche, and their mushroom and spinach tart. It's very small inside, but they get the job done, and I hope they can one day add in another location that is closer to HoCo so I can come much more often."

"My favorite dish at Weakness for Sweetness is the Jerk salmon with vegetables, plantains and "Bob Marley" rice. The salmon is always fresh and prepared exquisitely. The "Bob Marley" rice is Spanish style yellow rice with seasonings and chopped vegetables. The dish just works. Their jerk is not overly spicy and very flavorful. The curried dishes are worth a try as well. I am a roti addict, and here it is cooked just the way I like it. I still have yet to try their version of Jamaica's national dish, Ackee and salt fish. In most of the dishes you can see and definitely tastes the fresh spices like thyme, allspice, and peppers. They sale extra gravy/sauce like jerk or curry. Get the extra. Also, the Bob Marley rice is a must, even if peas and rice is your go-to. Just add the other rice dish as a side order to compare.The desserts push the stars up a notch. So many fresh baked cakes, breads, pies. The coco bread is so filling and pleasantly so. The red velvet cake has to be my favorite guilty pleasure. Pro tip- make sure to stop in on Jamaican Independence day and Bob Marley's birthday. They add specials to the menu that are outstanding. Lastly, the staff and owner are downright nice. They answer your questions and will let you know if your request can be accommodated, like more rice in lieu of plantains. Just a great place in Prince George's County to get Jamaican cuisine and scratch baked sweets."

I ask him, what's your favorite items here?He says the Pignoli cookies are amazing but the cannoli are our specialty. Wow, do you have any with dried fruit or pistachio? He said we do not but I'm going to change your mind with my chocolate chip. He tells the counterperson to wrap up a chocolate chip cannoli. First inspection, the fresh smell is almost intoxicating. I can feel the shell is freshly made.Before I continue, I have to give a shout-out to Vaccaro's Italian Pastry Shop. Opened in 1956, they've been serving Baltimore proud since. I'm glad I didn't see any Elmo cookies like some bakeries in my beloved New York City, catering to the masses. This is a true Pasticceria serving quality Sicilian treats. Now I take a bite.The hard shell is very fresh but the star of the show is the ricotta cream filling. It's silky smooth and has a unique taste. The wait time for service was just crazy as the line behind me was so bad customers walked out. I have been coming here for years the hours just don't buck with my schedule...and when I checked Yelp and saw they were open now, I hurried here. These service hiccups will not deter me from patronage but I will be more conscious about the time I come as it is during "lunch". There is an "Help Wanted" sign hanging at the door too...Today's service is the only reason for less than 5 stars!UPDATED: Sad to report I had to rush back up to the bakery minutes before closing to return my not so awesome adult grilled cheese sandwich. It was made with American cheese instead of smoked Gouda and it didn't appear to have any fig preserves on it. So heart breaking when that's all I wanted...the young man was nice enough to offer to remake the sandwich for me but it was just minutes before closing and it already had taken a long time to get the first one. However, if Nothing Bundt Cakes is offered, I'm NEVER going to pass! How can you resist! They're so cute and delicious! The moment you step inside the shop, you're hypnotized by the intoxicating aroma of the cakes that have baked. Vanilla, red velvet, confetti, lemon (one of my personal favorites), carrot, and more are offered in either whole Bundt size cakes, personalized Bundt cake sizes, and even bite size Bundt cake sizes. I'm so happy they decided to make snickerdoodle a year round flavor (it use to be offered only during a select time of the year) but now, you can purchase it whenever you'd like!
