"Best bagel sandwich I've had since Philly. As good as Einstein's. Service was quick and efficientWhat ambience? It's a bagel shop and a good one!"
"This is my go to breakfast spot when I visit the Baltimore/ Washington area and need breakfast on the go. Bagels 'n Grinds is conveniently located directly across from The Hotel, which is where I stay whenever I'm in town visiting family and friends. Their hours are 6am- 2pm daily. They offer coffee drinks, bagels, wraps, sandwiches salads, soups and sweets. We always order online and pick up our food since it is in the same strip as our hotel. My husband always gets a coffee and The extremely meaty breakfast bagel. I always order the garden state as a wrap. I appreciate being able to customize my order to get it exactly the way I like it. If you sign up with them they will send you exclusive offers and promotions so don't forget to sign up. Every time I've visited the food is fresh and tasty and the coffee is good too. The ambiance is relaxing and a great place to sit and enjoy your food. I look forward to my next visit so I can try more menu items."

"This place is special. The space is small, cozy and welcoming. The staff are very friendly, patient and good natured. It was my first time here and I couldn't decide on what to try because everything looks delicious, so of course I had a few questions. Finally decided on one of the most buttery, flaky, indulgent croissant sandwiches I've ever had in my life and some very good chai. Wrapped this little trip up with some additional pastries and bread and cannot wait to return."
"It's a great spot to meet up with friends. The pastry selection was my favorite. They were cold in the middle even after being warmed up but a good experience overall"
"Had the eggs and cheddar cheese bagel. It was really good. Service was good and fast. Would highly recommend."
"Having driven past this place many times, I decided to stop in and give it a shot. I was pleasantly suprised! The prices are great and the portions are big! We tried the Booey's Platter, 3 pancakes, and a side of bacon. Everything tasted amazing! Eating in was pleasant, but know that the atmosphere inside is more fast food-ish than eating breakfast somewhere like IHOP. This will definitely be my new breakfast spot from now on. I also intend to give their sandwiches a shot soon."
"This should be interesting. So, I've been meaning to visit this place for a few months now. A friend of mine visited and raved about it. Day of visit... I walked in, checked out the menu and headed up to order. I ordered the Pesto Chicken Panini no cheese. Also ordered the Fresh Brewed Tea. I must say, everyone there was really nice and polite. They speak when they walk by and/ or if they happen to make eye contact. I love that! The environment was cool. The cafe is located in a shopping center at the corner which allows for outdoor seating and plenty of parking. They have a lot of stuff there. They sell bagels, sandwiches, soup, specialty beverages, reusable cups, freshly bagged coffee, you name it!They have a couple of those signs saying that time basically isn't of the essence. Everything's made to order. That's cool, but I never thought my panini would take 30 minutes, but it's ok. ... I had plenty of text messages and games to get updated on.Let me start with the panini, it's not your average panini. It's not on the flat sourdough bread that you anticipate. It's on a small roll. It's delicious! Fresh and soft. The pesto, delicious! My chicken, it was a little tough and difficult to chew. I would say a 3rd of it I just couldn't chew. I want to return back for a Reuben sandwich but I am afraid it may be tough as well so I think I try a breakfast sandwich. Specifically that Bagel BLT.Fresh brewed tea can be a handful and a hassle to sweeten to liking but this fresh brewed tea was worth it. They have a nice condiment station where they have several types of sugar to choose from. I put a few of the raw packets of sugar in and it was perfect. The fresh brewed tea had a smooth taste and actually probably would have been good without the sugar. I just couldn't go without.Although the food didn't win me over, the customer service certainly did and I am dedicated to returning back into a find that perfect match for my tummy.I'd definitely visit again!"
"Tried this place for the first time last week. I took my 3 year old and we both loved it! He had a plane bagel with sausage and cheese. The bagel was so soft and fresh and we stopped at lunch time. I had the chipotle maple and it was stacked and yum. The bacon was real and crispy! Visited again this week and tried The Thanksgiving and The Jameson, both amazing! This place is very clean and the staff are very friendly!"
"Great bagels, cheap and quick!!!! Was staying downtown and it was a perfect place to walk to for a quick breakfast"

For two decades we've been loyal customers of Ize's. Owners Lee and Angie Greenberg could not be nicer. The food is amazing. My favorite is actually the French toast and the bagels are tasty with so many varieties. I'm a fan of the brownies and chocolate tops too,If you want to support a locally owned restaurant where the owners are there every day to ensure the best care of their patrons, Ize's is the place!!!

I stopped by Bagels n Grinds for a Meetup event, and I'll will say that I was pleasantly surprised by how accommodating the Bagel & Coffee (or rather, grinds) folks were for our group. I'm assuming that the group organizer has something set up with the folks at Bagels n Grinds because the shop gave us our own section to chat. Unfortunately, I was meeting someone for lunch after the even so I did not get a chance to try any of the goodies that Bagels 'n Grinds has to offer. However, I did enjoy a couple delicious cafes americanos. I did appreciate that the shop has a huge variety of bagels. I'm not sure if I'm a huge fan of having to immediately enter the line as soon as you enter the shop. However, I guess that's smart on their end because as you go through the line, you'll probably order something before fully entering the dining/drinking area. For the area, I thought the prices were fine. Unfortunately, there is not much parking in the little shopping center, which isn't Bagels n Grinds' fault. There is a parking garage affiliated with the hotel, but I'm not 100% if you have to be a guest of the hotel to park in the garage. Fortunately for me, someone was leaving, and I nabbed their parking spot behind the shop. Looking forward to returning to try a bagel or two.

I recently popped into the Little Italy location of Ovenbird Bakery to pick up a pre-ordered Valentines Day macaron cake and stayed to enjoy a mushroom quiche. Staff was super friendly and warmed it for me and I was so hungry, the quiche was devoured in short order. While much cozier than the Highlandtown location, there is some limited seating. It's fun to meander the streets of Little Italy as well while in the neighborhood.

This is where Zekes Coffee started! I've been a fan of Zekes for a while - it was definitely one of the first local coffees I tried in Baltimore. I often get their bags of coffee from the farmers market so it's always a treat to visit their storefront. This was my second time here - the first time I came with a friend and tried a poppyseed Hamantaschen. The pastries and coffee shop here aren't high end, but the coffee is good and the store is so big - it's definitely more industrial feeling than the more hipster coffee joints you see popping up! The staff is fast and friendly and there is an area you can sit with dogs separate from the main area. I got their cafe con panna this time. Solid spot and definitely a neighborhood staple.

Naval Bagels is a cool little shop. I live in the area and go frequently. They have a good system to get your food out quick, but it's not the most intuitive and I've witnessed customer confusion that was not met with the friendliest of staff. Service is hit or miss, as are the bagels. If they are fresh, they are great, but sometimes, despite coming first thing in the morning, the bagel is hard and chewier than a typical fresh bagel. Because of this, I hardly ever get only a bagel, and opt for the avocado delight. The honey mustard soaks into the bagel and softens it up if it's a little stale. I'll continue to go back for the affordable price and location, but if you're only in Annapolis for one day, there are better breakfast/lunch spots out there.

I've been a fan since the early 90's. Was in town recently for homecoming and took my kids. They're now fans too. Seems to be different ownership now, but the kept the recipes.

The cheddar everything bagel is the stuff breakfast dreams are made of! I've never had such a perfect bagel. Also, the horseradish bacon scallion cream cheese was extremely flavorful and decadent. The service was wonderful and the cafe atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. I highly recommend Kismet cafe and am looking forward to coming back for an acai bowl or a sandwich for lunch!

A fantastic alternative for all things bagels, Uber Bagels and Deli is a go-to! Baked from scratch and the old-fashioned way, Uber shaka :-)Online orders are easy to navigate and save time, most especially on jammed packed weekends. Be sure to check their specials, community message board, and your orders before you leave. Fun merchandise is available, although stock may be low or in back order. Catering is available! Parking is ample but limited during peak hours as it is shared.

"Uber Bagels offers a friendly atmosphere with clean surroundings and welcoming staff. I tried the rosemary salt bagel with bacon, egg, and Swiss cheese, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors blended perfectly, and the quality of the ingredients stood out. Definitely a place to visit if you're craving a flavorful and satisfying bagel!"
"Roland park + bagels = Roland park bagels. This little cafe is popular for bagels and located in... you guessed it, Roland Park. I ordered a toasted everything bagel with plain cream cheese. It came out to about $4 including tip. The order was ready in about 5-10 minutes and wrapped securely in foil. I grabbed a seat outside on the small patio to stuff my face. Well the bagel was definitely toasted! In fact, some of the everything toppings were a bit charred. It wasn't a huge deal and still tasted very good! It was exactly what I needed on a slow morning. In Roland Park and want a bagel? Look no further, friend."
"My wife and I stopped in and had an absolutely delicious lunch. The New Yorker was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp salad too. Staff were extremely friendly and the restaurant was clean. Highly recommend."
"Check in at Yelp for a free coffeeCame for breakfast during our road trip- it was a good pit stop to fuel up with a super breakfast. I'm very impressed with the blueberry bagel & the ingredients were fresh & my sausage, eggncheese breakfast sandwich came out to be delicious."
"Pretty good bagel shop, located on the street front of the lobby of The Hotel at the University of Maryland.Mainly bagels and bagel sandwiches, they also have muffins and assorted baked goods. Juices, coffee, yogurt parfaits, fresh fruit, etc. Salads, wraps, sandwiches, and soups as well.Do yourself a favor and order ahead. The line can be a fairly long wait. You don't have to order at the counter in order to take advantage of the spacious seating, ample tables and comfy armchairs.Really the perfect breakfast spot if you're staying at the hotel. The prices may be a touch high for college kids, but if you're staying at the hotel, you just may prefer things a bit quieter anyway."
"Yaaay! A great bagel place near my house! The bagels are really good. They've got just the right crunch on the outside and texture on the inside. And they offer a great variety too.The staff is so friendly! They welcome you as soon as you enter and are glad to take your order.Lots of windows so it's very bright. I'm looking forward to going back often! So glad I stumbled into this place because I'd given up on getting good bagels in my neighborhood."
"This is like an everything store. Me and my friends loved it. Coffee? Burritos? Sandwiches? Boba? It's great for a group of people who like different things. We were passing by on our way to our Airbnb and this was such a gem to find. The service was actually great! The girl on the register was super sweet and our food came out so quick even tho it was so busy! 10/10 would recommend this place! Food was also delicious!"
"Been coming here for years. The owner is friendly and always says hello. Everything I get is outstanding, baked goods, challah French toast , Muenster omelette, cream cheese and lox bagel . I drive across town for the whitefish salad, best I ever had. Always clean and comfortable. Tons of choices for grab and go, multiple varieties of bagels and assorted cream cheese and salads. Friendly customer service and they hustle to get your order out. Much appreciated by me."
"Good service, decent spot, excellent food. I just wish they were closer but that's not keeping me away"
"Yes I know I came at noon on a Sunday but at least the coffee should be hot. Not a bad place, customer service is normal. Decor is cool, nice lighting Could earn another star when I give it a try again and sample some more of the baked goods. Had: almond croissant, goat cheese & green onion scone, (tasty) and a yummy figgy cookie. -regular latte w/ whole milk-salted maple latte w/ whole milk For both temp was probably 130° - great for a kids temp hot cocoa!"
"Sam's is a no-frills bagel shop that has never once disappointed me. It feels like a cozy deli from yesteryear with a simple coffee bar, fridge of drinks and cream cheeses to go, and a friendly gentleman who takes your orders and sasses the regulars. My usual is lox on a sesame bagel and it's so good that I crave it almost every day."
"I have to admit, I'm either ordering pickup or eating in at Good Boy Bagels at least twice a month. And it's so delicious and quick that I've never even stopped to take a picture! I'll remedy that on my next stop in. This place is great, inside is cozy and warm, all dark wood with classic café decor. The employees are so friendly and kind, always a smile on even when there's a line out the door or they're low on certain items. My go-to is a classic sausage, egg, and cheese, but lately I've been loving the GBB Toasty Burrito! It's packed full of chorizo, scrambled eggs, hash browns, salsa, and cheese and it hits the spot every time. My husband has eyes for one sandwich and one sandwich only: the 40 Gold, which has pit beef, fried eggs, onions, and horseradish. It is decadent, delicious, and so filling. When I do stop in to eat there, the coffee is great. It always comes fresh and piping hot. If you read this far, this message is for you: stop in, or place a pickup order and get a great local breakfast!"
"Great sandwich. Great fires. Great customer service. Salad was meh. I suggest getting what a deli is known for. It's sandwiches. My coworker and I went to this deli which she had mentioned was recently reopened with this new branding. Unsure if it was from new ownership or just a name change. Next time I go, I'll find out more. Atmosphere:This is more modern than your normal deli. It reminded me more of a clothing store with the dark wood floors and clean lines with the club music playing in the background. The music was at a good level so you could hear each other talk. Service:Fast and friendly. I mentioned it being our first time and being a Yelp elite unabashedly. Hey, it scored us some free fries! Kudos to Deli-ish cashier!Food:My turkey club was really good. I liked the freshness of everything. Plus call me crazy, but I like turkey that doesn't have that real turkey flavor. Haha. I know I know. This was perfect but it could have used a touch more mayo. The fries were great. They had a bit of seasoning on them which is what I like. Don't be afraid to order fries for the kids. They were not spicy. Just seasoned. Salad with grilled chicken per my coworker was just average. Nothing to write home about. The chicken soup wasn't that great either. Like I said earlier, stick to the sandwiches maybe. If thinking grilled chicken salad, maybe look elsewhere. If getting a sandwich, I say go here."
