"Amazing- they are back open for dine in eating and the all you can eat. Love the ayce as everything is freshly prepared and it includes the sushi. Staff is very pleasant and it is clean inside."
"Recently moved to the area and hoped to find some good Asian food without having to travel to the place with which I'm familiar. Therefore, I took to Yelp to see what my fellow Yelpers had to say about places in the area. You all did not disappoint with Winli, so I thank you! This will be my new favorite place. So, when it comes to Asian food I can be a bit "boujie." All Asian food is not the same and I feel like I can't eat it from every Asian restaurant, even when getting something basic-I've had restaurants do rice wrong in the past. Nonetheless, Winli is FAR from that. The food here is amazing. I ordered the small vegetable lo mein and small shrimp fried rice. The vegetable lo mein had nice size portions of fresh cut veggies and was a great deal of lo mein, could be considered a medium portion in other carryouts. The shrimp fried rice had huge pieces of shrimp in such a small box, I was quite surprised. These weren't the salad shrimp other restaurants try to throw in their fried rice. These were large sized shrimp and a plentiful amount. The food here was so fresh, not heavy, and hot. Winli is a carryout. You cannot eat in but they are SUPER clean! The price to portion and taste ratio is no match. Since the prices are decent yet the quality of food is beyond "carryout" status. This should be a restaurant. One thing I can really appreciate about Winli is they have all day specials, not just lunch specials. Another thing I love is that they allow you to get your own packets of soy sauce, duck sauce, hot sauce, and hot mustard. They aren't like most other restaurants where they ration the packets out to customers or charge extra if you ask for extra."

"We had become a little disappointed with the Chinese restaurant we usually order from and have been trying others in our area. This week we decided to try Passion and think we have found our new Chinese go to. We ordered our usual which is Chicken & Broccoli, Pork Lo Mein, and steamed dumplings. They were all delicious. This is probably the best fried rice I have had and the portion was very generous. I chose to do pick up instead of delivery via GrubHub. It was a Friday night and I was told it would be 30 minutes before the meal was ready. I was out and about and found a place to do a little shopping in the meantime. The restaurant was busy with other people picking up and others trying to dine in. However, my order was ready when I got there and still hot when I got home. Will definitely go back."
"Nice ambience and good food. Service was a bit spotty and prices a tad steep. Hubby loved the seafood tower - picture is of the petite tower. We were told the grande would be the same but with another level. Will go back but can't say this would take me away from the other sushi place in town."
"This was my first time visiting this particular Ekiben location! I came specifically to try the chicken box, which was a temporary menu item.I came basically as soon as they opened, so I was the only person in the restaurant. I had a bit of a wait, but I figured it was because I was likely the first order of the day. There are a few stools inside and picnic tables outside if you want to eat in, but the space is more designed for takeout. Inside feels clean and they have really neat artwork and photos on the wall.I really really enjoyed the chicken, which is no surprise for something from Ekiben. You get three wings, but they were HUGE - a drum and a flat per "one" wing, and they were just large wings in general. Between the amount of chicken and all of the rice, I was able to get three meals out of my one order! The wings are covered in a General Tso's sauce and are perfectly sweet/savory/spicy. A bit of chicken, rice, and pickled veggies is truly the perfect bite - everything just balanced so well together. Ekiben is a staple in Baltimore and for good reason. Just writing this review and thinking about the food I ate is making me want to go back!"
"Came here to meet a friend for drinks. We sat a a high top table. We had to ask a staffer to clean the table off. He gave us menus, then we sat for quite some time before someone came to take our orders. We promptly received our drinks. We ordered Prosecco, which came in a mini bottle and the green dragon mixed drink. The green dragon was way too strong for me to drink. I asked for some pineapple juice to cut the liquor. I still wasn't able to finish the drink. I also ordered shrimp pad Thai which was great but need a little more fish sauce. Overall I would definitely recommend the restaurant."
"Pancit rice noodle dish was soooo tasty! We also had the calamari appetizer which was yummy with a unique relish and spicy sauce.Great ambience and service."
"I really enjoyed my Door Dash experience. The food was still hot and smelled great. I enjoyed the spicy wings and the 2-piece combo. I equally enjoyed the cheese fries and the cheese curds. The biscuits was also a pleasant surprise and o enjoyed one the next morning for breakfast. There were two things I did not enjoy. 1. I ordered 4 wings and received 3 wings and a drumstick. 2. The 3-piece mild combo had a slight sweetness to it. It was definitely not the same flavor as the spicy chicken. My partner ordered the combo and LOVES fried chicken and did not enjoy it and only ate one piece. I did not understand the disconnect from my great experience and their experience. I tasted a piece the next day along with one piece I had leftover and understood. The flavor was different between the two pieces. I would definitely go back and would highly recommend the spicy chicken!!! Thumbs up!!"
"Saturday was the first time we visited the new location. The last time I went when they were still next to Chik-Fil-A was a disappointing experience. Went with some co-workers for a lunch buffet in the middle of the week and the buffet was small and food was very bland.Fast forward 3 years. They are now located in the space formerly occupied by Mongolian Grill. After some Saturday errands, the wife and I were going to try out Royal Taj near Green Turtle for lunch but the place was packed. Since we had already convinced ourselves we wanted Indian food, we decided to try Mirchi Wok. I remembered my less-than-stellar experience but decided to suck it up since she wanted Indian. We walked in and there were only 3 other tables occupied, which was odd after seeing Royal Taj filled to the brim. Things weren't looking good for this place. They've re-used the serving space left behind by Mongolian Grill so it appears there is much more food offerings than their old location. The foods are labeled so you know what you're getting for the most part. Seating space also increased. After the first few bites, my old memory of their bland food disappeared and was replaced by the yumminess of the naan, the goat, the curry potatoes, and the fragrant rice. The food quality was much improved. I don't know if tandoori chicken is supposed to be dry but every time I've had it at any Indian restaurant (whether buffet or off the menu), it's been dry. That was really the only thing I did not enjoy at lunch. They have soups, salads, and dessert, too.The servers were very attentive. Even though they leave the water pitcher at the table with you, they were constantly stopping by our table to refill our water glasses for us. Plates were cleared in a timely manner. About 15 minutes into our meal, the place started filling up with many people, most of whom were Indian (so that's a good sign). We overheard the couple behind us tell the server and the owner (a nice lady) that they were vegan. She went over their menu what vegan offerings they had. I stopped listening early on since I could barely understand her English but it was nice of her to take the time to go over the food choices with them. When they first arrived at the restaurant, she took them around to the food items to explain what they were. I wish we would've asked somebody what this and that sauce was but we tend to just try and experiment. Will have to try the vegetarian offerings at Mango Grove next."
"Really great food and very fast service. We've never had a bad experience. I recommend the Bulgogi and the bowls, love their kimchi too!"
"It was empty there was barely anybody in there and the service was super slow. I had to find the person to pay my bill. The food wasn't great. The smoked salmon was entirely way too flavor and it's something I eat often. I was not satisfied with the food or the service once I left, my stomach was hurting so bad and so the person who I ate with."
"I came to the common kitchen indicated on what I was going to have for lunch. I walked around all the different restaurants that they had here. I finally decided to try the Amazing Bahn Mi. The food here tasted fresh and flavorful. The BBQ pork is definitely tasty. I been here a couple of times and have not tried Bahn Mi. It was recommended by others dinners, so I will come back to try it."

I live right down the street from this establishment so it's always great for a quick take out option on those nights we don't want to cook. Some of my favorites are the Shrimp Mei Fun, Shrimp Lo Mein, Chicken and Broccoli, General Tso Chicken, and Shrimp Roll. The workers are always so kind and remember their regulars. The quality is consistent and the food is always ready fairly quickly.

The Food was tremendous. Although it's a takeout joint the food is more than worth the trip.I drove 30 minutes from the other side of Bmore for takeout!!But when I tell you the eats were incredibly fresh, the flavors were distinct and clear and the egg drop soup was to die for I am not even exaggerating...

I'm always on the lookout for delicious, quality Chinese/Asian food and the places in my area are lacking. So when a friend recommended Grace's, I had zero doubt this would be a great spot as my friend is very much into good tasting food as I.As often as I travel in and around this area, I never knew this place existed and now I'm glad I found it. I ordered the shrimp spring rolls and the panyang curry with vegetables to go. My wait time was, about 10 minutes, not bad as I was totally expecting a longer wait time. The shrimp spring rolls came in half a dozen two inch sizes and they were super delicious. Nice and crunchy with actual shrimp...nice.The panyang curry with vegetables was really a surprise to me because I find it hard to find vegetable dishes where the vegetable are cooked until they are too soggy to enjoy however, the curry had a delicious aroma and a wonder taste and the veggies were nice a crunchy and well sauteed...I do mean vegetables...carrots, snow peas, broccoli, mushroom and string beans.Needless to say, I'll be back

I finally got over to try this place--I met a girlfriend there for Sunday lunch. I don't know WHY I waited so long. It was really good. They brought out some little rice cakes called puto (brightly colored) as an appetizer. They were sweet and tasted like little cupcakes, almost. I had expected something savory, but they were tasty. My friend had been there before and knew what to order. She ordered Crispy red snapper, with sweet sour sauce instead of the mango salsa. It came out whole, with the crispy skin, rice, and the sweet sour sauce. It was very tasty and the meat just about fell off the bones.I ordered the Sotanghon Curry from the specials menu. It reminded me of Singapore rice noodles. It was a huge portion of well seasoned transparent noodles with ground beef, chicken, shrimp, and vegetables. We both shared the two dishes. There were enough noodles left that I brought a full container home. In view of the portion size, the prices are very reasonable. Both dishes were attractively presented. The young man who was our server, Ezekiel, was great--he checked in with us very often.I hope to plan to take my group of friends there for a happy hour.

The Only Review You Need To ReadMy daughter likes Kung Fu Tea, and wanted to try this place since we were in Laurel at the time. So we fishtailed into the parking lot, found a spot right out in front of the restaurant and walked in like two people on a mission. It was a tad confusing when we first walked in because it looked like a Kung Fu Tea place with an "Oh yeah - we have chicken too!" menu, which seemed a bit random. Adding to the mayhem was a sign indicating you could pay for your frozen yogurt there for the frozen yogurt place next door which was a completely separate business.Anyway, my daughter ordered the three piece spicy tenders combo and I ordered a regular three piece combo. I got confused about the level of spiciness (I ordered crispy mild when I should have ordered just original), and since I was extra hungry, decided to try the crunchy cheese curds.Long story short, I wasn't crazy about the chicken. My review may be tainted because of my error with ordering the mild, which is supposed to be mildly spicy, but I found nothing mild about it - it was spicy. I don't like spicy foods; I prefer to enjoy the taste of my food without having to deal with my mouth feeling like it's on fire. Also, maybe if I would have gotten one of their different sauces, that might have helped.I had never had cheese curds before, and I will say they were good. I'm not all that crazy about the word "curd"though; maybe crunchy cheese bites would sound more appealing. There was a steady flow of customers while we were there, so it appears that a lot of people like them (or maybe there's no other place to get carryout chicken in that plaza). But my opinion based on this visit is that I was unimpressed. Royal Farms or Popeye's chicken are way better, but again, I didn't get their original. If it was just me, I'd have no interest in going there again; plus I'm not a fan of milk tea or boba, so there isn't really much else there for me. But if I was with someone who wanted to try it and we were in the area, those would be the only circumstances upon which I would ever return. So take from that what you will.

"I love anything curated and has a stamp of approval by Chef Tobias! Love how he got James Hardens Houston spot on the map in Midtown, let's be honest it is his good food that keeps the people coming in. Crab Fries with old bay, he took our DC hits there, and it worked! Well Huncho House was hit and then came 1123, right across the street. For date night, my handsome made reservations, and we went. First impression, decor is beautiful. The waitress told us the back story of the painting of his mother, super beautiful. As we looked at the menu, both my honey and I had a look of disappointment. It was limited. We weren't expecting what was on the menu. We ordered an appetizer and drinks, then tried to bee line to Huncho House with no luck. Sticky Ribs were good-Portion Size was Small and compared to price, it's pricey. Not sure they were $20 good.Overall, I wouldn't come back, 1123 isn't for me, I am not into Asian cuisine and then with an African flare, it's risky and too risky for my taste. If I'm going to spend money, I want to spend it on what I know I love and like. Chef Tobias could have made this a Huncho House 2, and it would have stayed packed.Like I said, I am a fan of Chef Tobias, this one spot is a miss for me. We came, we tried, we conquered, if I come again, it's his doing!"
"Some seriously good food and the lunch special is a bargain at $9.25, especially since it's a lot of food and comes with one side dish. So my friend and I met for our monthly lunch and I had a little trouble finding the right entrance to the parking lot as it goes through a Royal Farms lot. But once I got there, there was plenty of free parking. She was already seated, but as soon as I joined her our server appeared to take drink orders. I was mildly surprised that her Diet Coke came in a can with a glass of ice. I guess they are really geared toward takeout, although the dining room is spacious and nicely decorated. We decided to try the sweet and sour spicy cabbage starter, and it was so good! Crunchy and fresh, with a few red peppers tossed in (I did NOT take even a nibble!) which gave it a nice kick. We each kept back a bit to take home.I opted for the Hunan Pork with an egg roll as my side; she chose the chicken in hot garlic sauce with soup. She knows my spicy tolerance and said the chicken dish was probably a bit much for me, so I didn't even sample hers. The pork was excellent, with tender crisp broccoli florets and tender pork in a mildly spicy mushroom sauce. So yummy and a lot, so I have another meal tomorrow. :) Of course, both our plates came with sticky rice and I don't eat much of that, but she took some home for later. The server was pleasant and on top of things without being pushy; we actually sat for an hour after eating, just talking, and there was no pressure to leave. Of course, for a while we were the only table; it might be very different during the lunch rush. There was a moment of confusion when our bills came. I had asked for separate checks and they were provided, but the server seemed mildly disturbed when I wanted to use my debit card to pay. He asked, "Do you have cash?" I almost never do. My friend does. So I said I could pay both with my card and she would give me her cash but in the end, the server just took my card and her cash anyway. I left a larger than usual tip because it was good service and also to maybe make it worth their while to pay for the card usage.I would go back if I was in the area, but I do live a bit too far for takeout unless I want to reheat the food."
"I grabbed two dishes to go and the dishes were Four Seasons and Sautéed Shrimp with Veggies. The dishes were roughly $14-15 a pop and they were not bad at all.Sautéed Shrimp: this dish came with lots of sautéed and seasoned veggies. There were a lot of argula, green onions, crunches (that you often find on top of crunch sushi), green and red peppers, and other bits. As for the shrimps themselves, there were an okay amount. The taste and texture were interesting. Every bite had a little bit of a weird but good combination of freshness and crunchiness. It's hard to explain the complex/weird/tasty sensation when eating the dish. Overall, the dish is probably a 4.5/5 because it's as delicious as it is a bit weird (in a good way).Four Seasons: this dish's meat included chicken, beef, shrimp, and scallop. To complement the four meats, the veggies were broccoli, mushroom, asparagus, and carrots. The sauce that went into the dish is that commonplace Chinese American food sauce that is abundantly found in most takeout restaurants as this. Overall, the taste was okay. The takeout process was good. I might just order another time if I'm in the mood for it!"
"So happy that Orient Express is open again! Best shrimp toast I've ever had, and they have great dumpling, soup and moo shi chicken. Things to know: they only take cash, and there can be a delay when they're busy. Try them--it's worth the wait!"
"So far everything I've had has been good. Vegetarian poke bowl was fantastic. Spring rolls are better than average. Fried tofu appetizer was good. I've only heard good things from others. I love the vegan fake meat section, but I do wonder about their interpretation of "vegan" as some options in that section have egg. I look forward to trying lots more things."
"Good chicken wings and fried rice. Open late but if you're doing carryout, make sure to call in your order first."
"Sunday, 10/6/24: Per usual, when there's a BWI departure on the agenda, undoubtedly, a trip to Tomo's is included. We ate light this time because we ain't even hungry ATP. I'm tired of driving, tired of crying (happy tears), tired of eating (I've eaten more this weekend than I have all month!) but making memories with my children will NEVER get old! Tomo's is a staple because they have never disappointed us. It's never crowded and our orders are always beautiful and delicious. Our hot saki, steamed gyoza, spicy tuna, Sunshine, salmon avocado and Baltimore rolls were PERFECT. LOL ... doesn't sound like we ate light but, trust me, we most def had leftovers to take home."
"I have been here four times since finding this place. I am not a fan of the vegetable lo mein, but I am of the shrimp. The chicken has a spicy kick to it. The vegetable egg rolls can be peppery but not to much you dont enjoy it. The spring rolls are nice but order 4 at a time."
"Service is Everything!!!Stopped in last night for dinner but the last time I was here was probably a year ago. Not for any other reason than I just haven't been. So why do I make the point of saying this?? Because my girl Nina!! Not only did she remember my first choice dish but the second choice as well. She proceeded to rattle off my entire party's favorite dishes like we had just been there yesterday!! Well that's damn impressive in my book. I settled on my favorite first choice of Chicken and String Beans, extra spicy, my friend had Pad Thai. The food always comes out fast and delicious! Nina made sure we had everything we needed as always. The prices are very reasonable and the food is very good, there hasn't been anything on the menu I've tried that I didn't like and the service is amazing. Ask for Nina, she's always on point. The crispy beef is awesome as well."
"Customer service - 5 out of 5Wait time - 5 out of 5Atmosphere - 5 out of 5Cleanliness - 5 out of 5Food quality - 4 out of 5We have a special tradition of indulging in a delightful sushi boat the night before embarking on our vacation. However, this year, we deviated from the norm and savored it on the evening after our vacation, coincidentally the night before my son's return to school. As always, the hostess and servers were incredibly pleasant. The restaurant, not overly crowded, ensured that our drinks, appetizers, and entrees arrived promptly. The familiar casual and serene atmosphere embraced us. While most of our sushi rolls were delectable, unfortunately, our beloved favorite roll missed the mark with an off-putting flavor, which was truly disappointing. The server promptly replaced it with a freshly crafted one, but regrettably, it failed to satisfy our taste buds as well. Both the server and the chef tasted the sushi and found it to be normal, despite our disagreement. Consequently, it was graciously removed from our bill. Despite this minor setback, I must admit that our overall dining experience was enjoyable. With a score of 24 out of 25 stars, this restaurant maintains an A rating."
"We used to go to Red Maple regularly. There were some minor irritations but the service and food were good. Then staff changed and along came Covid and we stopped going there. Recently our favorite Chinese restaurant closed and we hadn't been able to find a replacement. Rich suggested we give Red Maple a try again. On a Sunday afternoon it was quiet when we got there. We got a seat in a booth in the bar. It's usually quiet in the bar area and we like to sit in a booth. A waiter came shortly and brought us water and took our drink orders. Rich had a tall beer and I had a Mai Thai. They have delicious Mai Thai complete with an umbrella, orange slice or more recently a slice of star fruit. Our first time back I ordered the salmon tempura with miso soup and Spanish rice. Miso soup can be very bland but their's is very good. The salmon came on a sizzling platter with sliced onions and peppers. Much like a fajita platter, delicious. Rich had Pad Thai and he liked it but it was not my favorite. Our second trip I had the chicken teriyaki and it was very good but I preferred the salmon. And on our third trip I had chicken lo mein. The portion was huge! I ate until I was full and we took the rest home and shared it for dinner. On our second visit Rich had a bento box but decided on our third visit the salmon teriyaki was the way to go. There service was perfect. We had a waiter the first visit and waitresses the second and third. It was nice to have good experiences at Red Maple and it has been added back into our regular rotation of favorite restaurants."
"I was kind of craving a bento box from a Japanese but did not want to pay a premium ($18+) and did not want to travel far from the Hyattsville area. So I decided to give this place a try since it's close, has pretty good reviews and the prices seemed reasonable. I got the combination teriyaki bento to go and it included shrimp, chicken, and beef teriyaki with 4 california rolls and house salad (ginger dressing). I paid around $12 total, which wasn't bad for the combination one. They didn't have any miso soup or any types of soup in general except for Pho, which I thought was kind of odd. But realized they weren't a full out Japanese restaurant. It's more similar to those quick Japanese teriyaki places in the mall. Anyways, the portion was pretty good and the teriyaki was flavorful- just the right amount of sauce. I wish the california roll was less dry, however. Overall, this place is not bad and could be the place for me to stop by whenever I want quick teriyaki."
"Nine dollars for "mall" teriyaki chicken and a bottle of water? Quite a small portion as well. Maybe 6 pieces of chicken. Below average cheap Chinese. They do not even add the veggies to the chicken on the grill. They are sitting in a warmer getting soft and gross. Look above the counter at their sign and you will notice it dripping some kind of brown liquid onto the counter and the warming station. Yuck."
"What a cute spot and concept! I loved the rice bowls and the amount of food that comes with your order. Their small menu surprisingly has great options to choose from. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying other menu items!"
"Spousal Unit and I wanted to go for a drive today to enjoy the weather, and look for a new (to us) restaurant. We found one, and immensely enjoyed it!Saisaki Asian Fusion is in the historic Hagan's Tavern building on the way to Braddock Heights. The tavern has housed many saloons, bars, and restaurants going back to the mid-1800s. The parking lot is large; the exterior is stone; the interior walls are decorated with landscapes showing views of Frederick from the past - very soothing! The menu is a mix of Japanese and Thai foods. We ordered spider rolls and red snapper nigiri as starters, followed by bento boxes. The rolls were excellent, made with very crispy and very well seasoned soft shell crabs. The nigiri was good, but the rice could have used additional seasoning (vinegar and salt). The bento boxes were enormous, and the food was excellent. More than enough food for lunch, and for snacking tonight! We were initially seated by a noisy four-top that was enjoying their mimosas way to much, but when we asked to move, they moved us to another room. Overall, the service was excellent - attentive, but not intrusive. Overall value was excellent! Will we return? Oh, most definitely!"
"Best Asian restaurant in Maryland !!! We came for lunch and we were surprised at the amazing food, service, and menu. I already want to go back for those egg rolls! As vegetarians, we were thrilled to find a place with well made tofu, crisp veggies, and excellent house made sauces that can cater to your spice preferences. Yumm! We love the friendly atmosphere and we will definitely be back soon. The sesame tofu... I need more!"
"Great food good service and tucked away from the norm Saturday night hang. The fish was fresh and the menu is diverse enough including Delicious Thai options for non sushi lovers. The drinks were perfectly crafted and allowed for a good evening with the Mrs"
"Meh. Food was fine, but not as good as others have described. Others have said that it is worth paying double what you would elsewhere, but we just didn't find it to be very special. Maybe it was an off night for them. Also, when did places start filling wontons with shrimp instead of a pork mixture...?"
"Love the ambiance of this restaurant even on a Tuesday night. A perfect date night spot, even though I went with some friends. The star of the show was the braised pork belly appetizer; it was sweet, savory, tender, with so much flavor in a single bite. I wish there was a meal with this same meat and rice! The chili garlic edamame was amazing too! The sushi was good too, some rolls were better than others, but I wish there was a larger menu. There's only a handful of chef rolls. Drinks were strong so you're getting your moneys worth! Overall, had a good time and will be coming back!"
"The family came in for the lunch buffet and we were very excited to find all of our regular favorites and everything was delicious! The tandoori chicken wasn't at all dry or tasteless (as it can be prone to be), it was wonderful! They had chicken chilli, my husbands favorite and the spice levels of everything were good. We've been to other buffets that were so spicy the kids couldn't enjoy anything. The kids enjoyed the Tikka masala, pakora and samosas especially. Oh, and the naan was a big hit, extra buttery. The interior appears to have had a "dress down" but it's still nice and I think we'll be returning for a dinner to check out the other menu items."
"I stumbled on this establishment by mistake, but bbbbbbaaaaaaayyyyyyybbbbbbeeeee, it did not disappoint at all. It is an express Hibachi place that delivers the same quality as if it is being prepared in front of you. The food was delicious, everything was clean. I am going back today to make sure it wasn't a fluke."
"This place always has a sizeable line when I visit so it peaked my interest. I was able to visit Lexington market last weekend and decided to try it. The price points are not bad considering the serving size. The food is cafeteria style where you can choose your protein and sides. They also offer different appetizers and side orders. I went with the bourbon chicken with vegetables and added a piece fried fish (the batter looked delicious!). You can also get a half and half here which is a plus. The bourbon chicken was delicious and the fish was great as well but can cool down quickly. Will definitely visit again to try other things on the menu."
