Burger Delite No 5.... How can I describe this place?Diamond in the rough!That is exactly what I'd call this place, a Diamond in the rough.On the way to work one morning my partner in crime asked if I wanted a breakfast sandwich. We were far from Brandywine, where my favorite breakfast place is, so I was confused at the question. I was hungry and said yes, wondering what he had in mind. We drive towards 201 (Kenilworth Ave), I'm confused! We get to the corner and yup, there she was...Burger Delite No 5, it was packed at 6:50 in the am. I was so excited, lots of people mean it's GOOD.A hole in the wall, maybe, but it does a solid job. I've never been disappointed. Need to definitely come back for their lunch menu. Let's Get into It! Breakfast Sandwich - Bacon, Egg, Cheese on wheat over medium is a winner for me! Coffee is great! This spot has become a regular stop for us on the way into the office. Love IT! I like the breakfast food it reminds me of home cooking. I had my favorite a BLT it was absolutely outstanding. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a mom a pop's shop. I highly recommend this spot for breakfast. Also they get your food out too you really fast . This place has been in the area for years and they are still doing really good business with awesome customer service.

My boyfriend and I stopped here after 3 hours of kayaking at Bladensburg Waterfront Park, so I was pretty famished when we arrived. With a name like Burger Delite, I believe you have to order the burger, so I did. Two people got: two cheeseburgers, large fries, and a coke for less than $12. You can't beat that!The burger was quite good and everything you could want from a cheap burger. Not greasy, good selection of toppings, and a great price. The fries didn't taste salted at all but whatever - we added the salt ourselves. They were great, too.The menu was pretty extensive, but I don't know if I'd stray too far from the burger. That's just me, and I might be missing out, but I will absolutely be back when I'm craving a no-frills burger from an amazingly-priced spot.

You get what you pay for, Hence the name Burger Delight. You have to know what to order and what not to order. Their breakfast is the best, French toast scrambled eggs with cheese and grits loaded with butter!! Yes!! I will not try any of the regular food. After looking at the reviews I'm know it's a wise idea. Great service.

This place is always busy, so I figured why not give it a try. I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon, just before closing. This was probably a mistake on my part.I ordered a half-smoke with chili. The half-smoke was served deep-fried with a ton a chili piled on top. The chili seemed old. (see attached pictures)The half smoke was very greasy, and the chili tasted like it was scraped from the bottom on a burnt pan. Within an hour my stomach was churning. On the positive side the price was low.

This place is a run down little holes in the wall, which is fine to me. I've eaten at multiple establishments that were not 5 star but made up for it in quality and service. This place is not one of Those places. The woman who works the register has a nasty attitude. The food is sub par at best. I'm actually leaving this restaurant now after requesting a refund. I was served a hamburger wrapped in paper, which is not a problem, but then received my fries wrapped in tin foil. They are tight with the condiments so I usually use the ketchup in the store. I asked for a tray and she said I had to buy a tray because they already packaged my food. When I was buying my food I only had a $100 bill so I had to use my credit card because they didn't have change. Rather than give me the $0.50 container she wanted me to swipe my card again or continue with my fries wrapped in tin foil trying to put ketchup on them. Worst experience I've had in months and I will never come here again. Only reason I ever ate here was because it was convenient but after this experience I will never, ever, again. Terrible service.

Horrible service from the owner, we got there 5 minutes before closing (we didn't know it closed at 3) he saw us go in and once we went in he literally did hand gestures that we had to leave and said leave I want to go home. Like wtf?

This place is awesome. Go. They have old school soda options and great burgers, breakfast and other sandwiches.

The only thing I've ever had from here that was good was the French fries and cheese steak. Everything else is below average. I got a fish sandwich from here that looked good, but once I bit into it it had no flavor at all and was filled with bones. I gave it to my cats. From now on all I'll get from here is a steak and cheese and French fries...

This place is the worse. I ordered a half smoked with scrambled egg and I was given one sausage link and one fried egg on white toast. I expected more for 4.00. I Alain expected for my eggs to be scrambled as I ordered. The price is too high for one egg and one sausage link. Sandwiches are not worth the money. Stay away. The sad part about this experience is that the owner and workers don't care if we leave reviews or not.
