This liquor store has a great selection of any and all alcohol, the staff are always super friendly, and you're in and out in a few minutes.

They're clean, well-lit, and open late. They are also completely unhelpful. If alcohol didn't sell itself, they would probably not survive as a business. How it went:Me: "Do you have [very common alcohol] X in singles?"Counter guy: "Huh?"M: "X" CG: "Uh, ask him."M: "Do you have X in single bottles?"Other Guy: "Only 6-packs"M: " Any X other than [Brand]?"OG: "No."M: "Ok" [Goes to get six pack of [Brand] X, of which I only really wanted one bottle]Some Guy Sitting On Some Beers Who I'm Pretty Sure Doesn't Even Work There: "They got some [Brand] X over here in the big cans."M: "Thanks guy." [Gets a can of X, pays, leaves.]How it should have gone:Me: "Do you have [very common alcohol] X in singles?"Counter Guy: "Well, I think we have 24s of [Brand], but that's about it. It's right over there."Me: "Thanks." [Gets a can of X, pays, leaves.]Fin.

I asked nicely for a bag to carry my 6pk and the clerk said no you don't need one it has a handle... let's just say this I had to walk more than 2 miles to my destination and holding a card board handle definitely sucks after awhile. Why would you refuse a PAYING CUSTOMER A BAG... and then explain onto why a bag was not needed. It was rude. Other than that it was a great selection.

Decent selection, decent prices. Nothing remarkable about this place, really, but it sure beats going to some of the sketchier liquor stores in the area. The owner is kind of gruff, but he also keeps the riff-raff down in here. I've seen him physically throw panhandlers out of here. So kudos for that.

Mixed feelings about this place. It's extremely ghetto but pretty convenient. Prices are decent. Since it's a bar (even though it doesn't look like it). I went there once and saw a dude drinking a 40 at the counter. But I think the counter was considered a bar.

Plus: they stay open late.Minus: prices are ridiculous. Go a few blocks north on Fleet Street to Loading Dock Liqour. A bottle of Smirnoff here is $8 more than there, which makes no sense.

Like to shop local, but the price difference between here and Total Wine is just gouging. Same cognac that is $40 here is $25 elsewhere. Convenient, moderately friendly, but not good value.
