Brewer's Alley

Brewer's alley is an easy pick whenever we are in Frederick! Being downtown for many years, this spot has good food, good prices and good vibes! We love their rooftop patio on a nice day and the fact that they have space for private events! Our private small wedding reception was hosted there and their coordinator was very accommodating. I would recommend this place for a quick bite, or drinks with some friends! Make sure you check out their daily specials for good food option as well.

Had a wonderful dinner last night! Had the pizza and the hubby had the poke bowl and caught had a salad with a veggie burger - everything was fresh and delish Our waiter was also amazing - on top of everything even though it was super busy on a Saturday night

I wasn't surprised by the reviews after I went. This felt like a 3.5 to 4 star restaurant. The food was really good. Little things like nachos or a pretzel were both surprisingly really good when they didn't have to be. A lot of pretzels and cheese dips at bars and restaurants are incredibly dull or average. Not this place. Same can be said for the friend chicken sandwich I had. Really delicious. Great crunch with the fry. This place is also huge. The inside just keeps going. They can host a lot of large gatherings here. Service was terrific. We got our desserts to go and they packaged all three aspects of the dessert individually. Really thoughtful of them.

This review is for the pizza and the pizza only. My fave pizza to order is the white mushroom, add pizza and request a side of tomato sauce. The crust always has the perfect light char and it's too thin or too thick, the Wild mushrooms and baby arugula are in abundance and the garlic oozes throughout every bite. As a carnivore adding pepperoni elevates the pizza for me making it next level!

Brewer's Alley is indeed a fun venue, Frederick's own first of its kind brewery. If you enjoy craft beer and chill vibes, this is a great option!I did happen to grab an online reservation on a busy Saturday night. At check-in, there was no wait and immediately seated at the main dining hall. Large and small groups, Brewer's can accommodate. Be sure to ask about their weekly specials and seasonal brews! Check out their Growlers Program for take-home options. Inquire about their food truck too!The Bravarian pretzel with IPA cheese and (+)crab dip was yummy! I also had a seasonal IPA, and it was a great pair. I ordered the pastrami Ruben with sweet potato fries, and while the fries were hot and crisp, I did not care for the Ruben. The marbled rye was cold and didn't taste fresh. The pastrami was limp and thin with maybe 3 slivers, a nibble of sauerkraut and squirt of the Thousand Island dressing, I only took 4 bites. Meh. I love a hefty pastrami Ruben piled high when I can, and this one didn't make the mark for me unfortunately...Our server Leah was wonderful! Friendly attentive and quick, we appreciate her! She did have two other large parties yet managed to balance the room in every waypossible.Street parking is limited, but the Church Street parking garage (right at Market Street) is located just a few steps behind the restaurant. Be sure to safe keep the ticket and pay before you return to your car. The payment kiosk is located right at the entrance.Definitely want to revisit again and head up to the rooftop!

This is a great restaurant on Market St. the main drag of Frederick. It's a large place with dining rooms and a nice bar area. The menu is diverse. There are good specials daily. We particularly enjoy Lobster/Steak specials on Thursday night. It's a very good deal ! The staff is friendly and efficient.

I was visiting the area and on the hunt for somewhere to eat. Walking down the street I passed this place and saw a sign for special of the day being cheese curds. Cheese curds? Say less. My friend and I opted to sit on their rooftop. It was a cute setup; only certain tables had a view from the rooftop and unfortunately we did not have a view. But the weather was beautiful and we were comfortable. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. We ordered a cocktail off their drink menu, cheese curds, boneless BBQ wings, and steak tacos. The drink was refreshing but didn't taste any alcohol in it. Cheese curds were good and boneless wings were good. The tacos were okay. Definitely not authentic tacos and had too much cabbage and not enough steak. Overall we were satisfied. I would definitely return.

Stopped in for lunch after a long travel day, the server was kind and attentive. Our food came out at a good speed and the fried pickles were delicious! There were a few vegetarian options on the menu, though I was disappointed that the red sauce pizzas are not vegetarian. That being said, the mushroom pizza was delicious! Just a casual spot to stop in for a quick bite that is relaxed and felt like a good family spot.

Good cocktails and beer selection, good food, fun place with a chill ambiance but man is it loud on a Friday or Saturday night! The staff were extremely friendly and efficient considering the crowds. I was with a party of 5 and we all enjoyed our food and drinks - the wings I ordered were crispy, yet juicy with a good sauce - but again, it was very loud. If you are looking to converse with a group, maybe try a different night

Just had a cockroach ask me for a beer. After I asked 3x times a waitress came and squashed it with a napkin. A manager came by and said he'd comp my beer. I paid for my beer and left my food unfinished. I was wearing my meta ray bans at the time. Management and bartenders were unconcerned and clientele remarked to me it's "just a bug".
