Bowman's Butcher Shop

I go here maybe once a month and spend 400$ each time. I love bowman's. It's amazing. Any bad reviews likely are people who do not understand the price you pay for good, quality meat. If you are complaining please just go back to Walmart and go buy your pesticide and hormonal pumped chicken and beef.

I went into the shop because I had won baby back ribs on a Facebook post. The shop is located down a gravel/dirt road and I believe they process meat products on site. The processing area is open to the shop, so be prepared for a strong smell when you arrive or go inside. Inside the store they have a lot of meat products already wrapped ready to go, and a case where you can pick what you want. There are other local products like meat sticks to purchase. It can be pricy but I think it's healthier than what is sold in stores. Staff were nice and knowledgeable. They offer meat packages and said they would be willing to trade out products (like pork) for a similar product they sell.

Great customer Service amazing selection if you want normal steaks and meats they have it if you want to be adventurous they have it just had a kangaroo burger can't wait to try the Japanese wagyu along with the wagyu bresaola

After living in the area for several years, we finally tried Bowman's. We grilled two filet mignon's which were out of this world. The staff was so helpful and friendly! In addition to our steaks, we purchased hamburgers and local cheese as well. We're looking forward to many more great meals from Bowman's!

These are by far the best steaks you can purchase within at least 50 miles. Prove me wrong and I'll try your recommendation. When you go to a "fancy"steakhouse, and drop $100+ on steak, Bowmans is the level of quality they use, so grill it yourself and save $60-70 and buy a nice bottle of bourbon or wine to go with it.The cuts are thicker, 1 1/2 - 2inches so be mindful if you're grilling them for the first time, they may end up being rarer then your usual.Other things to check out: they carry local eggs, exotic meats (alligator, elk, etc), and they have their own beer/venison seasoning thats actually pretty good. Better than Montreal.Other notes: They have amazing service here, they'll let you look at the cuts and bring you other ones from the back room if you don't like what they have on display.Not a fan on their sausages, the texture is good but the taste is a bit bland. I'm open to suggestions on how to improve cooking them.Some people think it smells weird in here. Welcome to a butchershop kiddos!

Everything is always fresh and delicious. Meat is from local farmers. Love getting my meat here.

I have two raw fed dogs at home that I try to find affordable meat for. I walked into this place with low hopes seeing if they had off cuts to offer me at a good price. I was blown away by Alice's customer service and knowledge on raw feeding. Not only did she offer off cuts but also premium cuts for dogs at a fantastic price. She gave me a whole sheet on dog food prices and cuts by lb, made homemade dog treats using organs and simple ingredients, and even offered me some uncut bully sticks or "pizzle" sticks as they called them a at an extremely great price. She even had the option for premade bags made to order so you wouldn't have to cut or deal with any of the meat yourself at home. I'm blown away by this customer service and will definitely be going there for most of my dog food needs! Thanks Alice the pups are loving the pizzle sticks!

I've been using this butcher for a little over 2 years and I absolutely love it! They have an amazing variety and great prices! The meat is so good! The staff is always super helpful with whatever I need. I recommend them to everyone I know.

I got scrapple, ahi tuna, and beer battered fish from this shop. I cannot RAVE even more. Everyone was shocked this Christmas at how amazing & fresh everything was. The staff was great & friendly. Definitely go here!!!!!

If you are losing hope for the meat you buy from the grocery store, stop right now and head over to the butcher shop. I will never buy meat from the grocery store again. I promise you will feel the same when you try their meat selection.
