The staff are very nice and the food is always prepared hot and seasoned well. The alcoholic drinks are tasty but strong. I recommend this place!

Came for an early (4pm) dinner with some friends this past weekend. It has been almost 20 years since I was here last! Not sure why! Used to go with my grandparents for crabs. Food was great. Had the crab legs, clams, shrimp, hush puppies and of course swamp water! Really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely not wait as long.

Stopped by Boondocks on the way back home. It is off the beaten path-Fo Sho! It is a cute roadside establishment that looks like it is straight outta 1980! We decided to get down to business-Ordered Crabs w/Old Bay & it was recommended by our server to get the appetizer 'Hodge Podge'! The Hodge Podge was deep fried 'everything'-Pickles; Vegetables; Hush Puppies (maybe)? We were in the area from Tulsa and literally just typed in "seafood" and landed at Boondocks. BEST thing that happened to us all day! Great atmosphere, when you walk in you just feel like family. Very warm and welcoming. Had the cutest little waitress that gave us excellent suggestions (which I took- and you should too!!) we ordered 2 Fisherman's Platters and some crab cakes. These crab cakes were the meatiest most delicious bundles of joy you can ever imagine! My only regret is that I didn't save room for dessert :( We enjoyed it so much we have recommended it to the team we are here with for tomorrow nights dinner! Until next time Boondocks!

I am a huge fan of this place. The soup is incredibly tasty and the crabs are simply amazing. The freshness and seasoning of the crabs were exceptional. I would have given it 5 stars however, I was slightly disappointed when my husband ordered the fried seafood platter and discovered that the seafood was frozen from a box and not fresh. I recommend adding at least fresh fried shrimp to the menu to enhance the overall dining experience. Despite this small setback, I still highly recommend this seafood restaurant.

We went early mid week shortly after opening crowd hadn't assembled yet. Ordered the Piglet and soup which came out pretty quickly and was very tasty.

After moving my daughter and her boyfriend to Syrma, delware we were looking for a place to eat and found this gem... the sea food was fresh and really good. When the wife and I go visit we will definitely be back!

Family and I went here for Fathers Day. It's a typical crabhouse. There was no wait, and the parking lot was full. We started off by ordering the crab dip and pretzel. The dip was good, but the pretzel looked like they picked it up from the local Wawa. Entree for me was two crabcakes. Food arrived pretty quick. Crabcakes were delicious, however, it appeared they were not cooked to order, and were kept warm for a period of time. The crab seasoning was gross. If its 'their own' they need to use less salt. I know what a crab seasoning should taste like, but this was unfit to eat. Maybe a lower sodium option?

Food is awesome but can be pricey. Good variety especially if you love crab and sea food. Service was very good but we ate there early so rush hour might be less so. Atmosphere is always pleasant and clean but rustic and some what worn. Love this place and highly recommend.

The food is terrible. The service cant cook hamburgers. They are to many flys and the vibe is loud as heck.
