Boom Boom Crab

The bartenders always have an attitude and the customer service is all over the place. They're always rushing you to order and the food is hit or miss! The drinks taste cheap and syrupy. The vibe is different every time. The place is huge so it make be good for events but not somewhere I'd frequent for food or drinks.

Went for the "All you can eat" lunch... You can only select 5 items off the preselected menu, and it's a 2 hour limit, which is cool. They have a wide variety of options on the preselected menu; soups, salads, sushi, lo mien, fried rice options, wings and other appetizers. The food was good BUT I didn't enjoy the Yellow Curry Beef. What I really like is the ambiance of the place. They have several big screens, the music was hip hop and R&B, and a full service bar. Next time I go, I will most definitely go for the bar. Great spot to meet up with friends and enjoy some drinks.

The young lady that took my order was very pleasant . My issue is with the food ... the shrimp were previously frozen peeled &divined(sp) didn't really have any flavor, which brings me to the sauce.. too salty and thin ... Hot & Juicy will see me again but this place will be a pass going forward ‍

My fries were pale and soggy. The fish was extremely dry and tasted old. I would pass

I've been twice now. Service and vibes are great! I love the oysters they are big and delicious. The chicken was fresh and crispy like I like it. The bags: the first time shrimp was on point didn't care for the sausage. Second time shrimp a lil over cooked but mussels was great. Go try it out. The vibes are there and they have great deals on seafood!

This is a new place in NE and me and my friends were highly satisfied. Everything was amazing. I got the 2 piece combo with whiting and catfish. Usually people don't fry catfish hard automatically. Mine came out hot and crispy and well seasoned and breaded. Best fried fish I've had in DC in the past 7/8 years. All my girlfriends enjoyed their food. I didn't try the boil but my friend loved it more than our usually place we go to. Service was on point giving honest opinions and she did her thing. I would come back 100%. The place is nice and spacious and the music selection had you dancing and eating.

It's really good!! I ordered the crab legs and shrimp boil and also the catfish basket. The boil was seasoned perfectly! Not overly salty, and the extra hot was not as hot as I was expecting, but it had a nice burn to it. The catfish was also really good. I used to drive to Maryland to get my crab boil fix, so im excited Boom Boom Crab is down the road from me. I'll definitely be coming back!

The food is delicious and the prices are great, relative to what this sort of meal costs at other establishments. Not gonna lie, it's a little ghetto and the wait staff could use a bit more...polishing. But overall, a time was had and I will absolutely be back!

- I use to come in here once a week and sit at the bar. As much money that I spent at the establishment is beyond me. Rich was my bartender, just found out he doesn't work here anymore. That's sad I won't be coming as often as I used to. His customer service is what brought me here. So my friends and I were sitting at the bar. The manager Amy/Aimee took about 15 minutes to take our order. The bar had to be wiped down. My friend asked for the bar to wipe it down. She was training "Fran". Fran came up to us and apologized for the slow service due to training. We been sitting at the bar and two people sat down after us and got their drinks and food. RIDICULOUS.. 4 parties sitting at the booth and 6 people at the bar including my friends and I. So busy is not an excuse. The trainee was nice and I hope this establishment treats her right. Manager has a nasty ass attitude. I won't be back, I'll spend my money else where. the food is good. I'm sad to make this review. DO BETTER. Also, quick add. They have sushi here now. Overall, Fran saved the experience. Who knows if I'll be back.

I used to come here a lot for lunch but my very last visit was horrible. I ate my food and got down midway of it and discovered that i was eating a rotten potato. I informed my waitress to get the manager Eden was his name. he walked over said, offered another meal and said that I wouldn't get sick with an type of bacteria or virus as if hes a doctor. informed him that food poisoning can be a result of some eating rotten food so how would he know? He says what do you want me to do? I said, you tell me what you're going to do. He says well the best i can do is offer a 10% discount or another meal. I said what about 20%? He wouldn't budge. I told him that i lost my appetite so no i do not want another meal. he says, well that's the best I can do. I usually only discount 5%[lies]. I told him that he better hope I don't get sick because I will be suing.
