***BLACK FLAG This Restaurant*** The customer service that I experienced at this establishment was inexcusable. Being half Korean, it pains me when leaving this restaurant, I felt that my experience would have been different if the other half of me wasn't African American. To have felt such discrimination from my own people cuts like a knife. I spoke to him in Korean right before leaving. He was taken aback and lost for words. You don't have to be a minority to refuse to give this restaurant your money and support. There is no place for hate in our world. There are good businesses out here, that provide great customer service. Let's give our support to them. Thank you for taking the time to read my review.

And In Conclusion.......Food was pretty good for the price, but couldn't figure out where to buy a drink. When I did, the drink selection was pretty slim. Not sure why out of 4 food spots they sell so few different drink items and almost no diet or low calorie.

This is one of the food stalls next to Hmart, which surprisingly serves some pretty decent solid food. It's refreshing to finally get some quality BBQ meats at a food court. Hopefully they can keep this up as they're around longer. I would recommend the number 4, if your in the mood for BBQ. The galbi is excellent. The portion is pretty large, but the quality is also top notch. Usually you get one or the other, but at Booddumak, you get both. It's paired with meat wrapped around and mushrooms, which are tasty. The noodles are perfect. Price not bad.I'll be back!

I love love LOVE the grilled eel in the sizzling rice bowl here! I think it is #34. I'm very new to Korean cuisine so this dish with the savory-sweet eel and chewy charred rice at the bottom of the bowl really appeals to my Western palate. And the kind man working the shop is so nice. I really enjoy coming here after a long day because it's fast and unfussy.

Letting everyone know with allergies! DO NOT GO HERE!!! I have a shellfish allergy and am Korean wth strong Korean food/cooking knowledge. The menu item I ordered ( - Cheonggukjang) does not traditionally include shellfish and nowhere did the item say it includes shellfish. I didn't realize until I got home that my to-go order was something I couldn't eat (full of shellfish). I called the restaurant and he cursed me out and told me I was crazy for wanting an exchange or refund for my inconvenience. He could have just explained, I'm sorry for the mix up, but a refund cannot be given.

We've been coming here for the past 3 years and tried almost every dish on the menu. Given that the boss speak limited English, communication can be difficult sometimes. Ordering can be tricky since you're going off pictures and name of the dish, which doesn't always does it justice. It was trial and error for us. As non-Koreans, we would recommend the bulgogi, the stir-fried pork, stir-fried octopus, tofu soup, seafood pancake, eel with rice, oyster with rice, stir fried seafood noodle, pork with napa wraps, cold buckwheat noodles, and the raw fish dish. Although the boss can seem blunt sometimes, he is actually a really nice person. Though some would disagree, the dishes we mentioned are actually better compared to the other restaurants we been to in quality, quantity, and price. We would say this is the place you go to where you get the most for your money. His portions are the biggest so far. Overall, this would be the place to go to if you just want a simple place to eat good Korean food that doesn't have all the amenities and services from the big chain restaurants. The only downside is he closes at 9pm.

Terrible place. Food is bland and made with little to no regard for food safety and hygiene. I asked for a small bowl and it was literally tossed to me by the owner. This place should be shut down ASAP. Do not come here unless you want food poisoning along with terrible service.

I purchased food from this place and upon my first bite, something tasted off. I was with my sister and friend and asked both of them to taste it to see if it was just me. They all spit the food out after the first bite as something was off. Seemed like something was old or spoiled, so I informed the owner and surprisingly in a very rude way the owner told me nothing was wrong with the food. I tried to say I simply wanted to return the food because I didn't want to get sick. The owner told me I was probably full from eating elsewhere (WHAT?!) and the only thing that was going to happen was that he was going to give me a to-go box and I was going to finish the food at home. Who talks to their customers like that? I said I did not want my food and then he proceeded to curse at me. Never have I felt disrespected so badly in a food establishment like this before. I do not return food unless I feel that it is unedible. Unbelievable how rude and disrespectful this business owner is. I have had good meals here before and even complimented this guy before so I was very surprised to have this horrible experience today.
