Had heard good things, so booked a party for 6 on Sunday eve. Should have known as soon as we saw paper napkin dispensers (like Chipotle). Cream of Crab, pretty good with good quantity of lump at $8.95 per cup. Buuut, we all ordered beef, which the cook seemed unable to get right. 2 ordered filet mignon, one medium rare, one medium. What came out of the kitchen did not look like Filets and doneness was way off. Then came the 16 ounce prime rib, 3 slices, which wife and I thought we could split; instead we got 3 thin slices of over overcooked beef (not medium, as requested, SEE PHOTO). They were tough and barely edible. Then came the bill, to which they add a 3.9% credit card fee! If you want to avoid that, bring at least $50 per person in CASH!

Service was atrocious. A waitress from another table took our drink order. A few minutes later my tea came out. After waiting another ten the other two drinks did not come out. Had to ask server where they were. He brings out the mixed drink and says that the draft beer was not ready yet. Not ready yet??? It's a draft beer. It says Coombs prime rib, far from it. Not much flavor and not to my order. Rare is red center, not grey. Not coming back.

$20 in the trash. Bad service, bad food. Passing through town I hopped off i83 looking for something to eat besides fast food or pizza, this was the closest option from the interstate exit. Called in an order and the person who answered sounded clearly annoyed :"Can I help you?" ..yes, I'd like to order for take out. ..."Hold on." ok, so you weren't ready to help me. Then as I order she's annoyed saying "hold on" after each item. I was already slowly saying one item at a time and was holding on for her to be ready,not sure why she felt the need to discipline me. When I ordered tuna nigiri she says "hold on, that takes awhile." ...this should have been my cue to end the call and go elsewhere. How can tuna nigiri "take awhile"?? ...I considered maybe it was an issue with how she had to enter it into their point of sale system.When I arrive to pick up I find it's a strange location, half bar/ half restaurant. I assume I pick up in the restaurant and walk in those doors. ...a host stand with no host, seems deserted. I peer around the corner and the "wait to be seated sign" and find an employee at the far corner. I guess I go to her to pick up. While ringing me out she asks if I need soy sauce, yes of course - but that's at the other side of the restaurant at the host stand - weird. I figured this was the annoyed person from the phone, but she seemed friendly enough and smiled so I left a couple bucks tip on the order.So now down the road at a gas station I park and go to dig in - no chopsticks or utensils! She asked if I needed soy sauce but didn't include anything to eat the food with. This is finger food now?? The menu was confusing in its layout and I went out on a limb and ordered an Adam Roll - tempura shrimp w/bacon and hot sauce - rolling the dice on something unusual but potentially good. And to be safe and simple I added an order of tuna nigiri. The roll had no hot sauce as advertised, instead it was that ubiquitous mayo type sauce, I didn't discern any spice. The bacon was weird tasting, like from a salad bar. The rice and tempura were thick and heavy. The tuna nigiri was white and mushy, not tuna. ...it tasted spoiled and I spit it out. Oddly there were two tiny pieces of salmon sashimi, also not good. My receipt wasn't itemized so I have no idea what she rung up despite me repeating my order to her in summary on the phone and when I picked up. I ended up only eating 3 partial pieces of the roll which were mostly mouthfuls of mushy rice and tempura with some soy sauce and wasabi flavor. Threw it all out. By far the worst sushi roll I've ever had.So then I go to fill up with gas and find I don't have my credit card! I called the restaurant back and the phone rang a bunch of times with no answer. I was too disgusted to deal with them anyhow and decided to just lock and cancel the card. Now consider they took my phone number when I ordered so they easily should have called me when they realized they still had my credit card, but of course not. The worst.

Missed Thanksgiving dinner with the parents this year, so we decided to take them out for dinner on the weekend after Thanksgiving. My father suggested we try Bones-n-Shells as he was a fan of Coom's back in the day. The Dad's World famous cream of crab soup is, hands down, one of the best dishes I've had in York. Period!!The prime rib was good. My wife's crab cakes were good... but didn't taste like crab cake. On the way home, I figured it out. They don't use old bay. After I realized that, I think the crabcakes were fantastic--just not what one is typically accustomed to being in such close vicinity to Maryland.I'm going all in on seafood next time around.Truly a marvelous restaurant with very friendly staff and excellent food.Thanks!!

Was here again this weekend! Food still on point! Great drinks and I appreciate SUGAR FREE Red Bull so keep that in stock! Waitress was super nice and on point! Was not too busy. Would like at least one of the TVs to NOT be football! But I guess it is what it used to be this time of year! Crab cakes were awesome as they typically are. So much food no way we could finish.

The daytime Bartender Joe is good, but he leaves around 4:30! Then Angel comes in , and she is absolutely horrible, terrible personality, below average drinks and overcharges! What we thought was a manager standing around going behind the bar making herself experimental drinks is one of the owners girlfriend!The food is OK, but the staff ruins the whole experience! Atmosphere is typical dive bar!I would have given 0 stars if it wasn't for Joe the bartender !Probably won't go back!

Working in the area from out of town and I've been there twice now. I will admit it slightly confusing and a huge menu . Almost as a joke, I had to see what a $23 bowl of soup was like.. Probably the best she crab soup I've ever had with the biggest chunks of crab. But get it dad's way and the handfuls of seafood on top were so fresh and good, taking it way over top as the best bowl of soup I've ever had. Definitely a whole meal. Went back this week and my friend had the ribs which were very good. I looked and looked through the menu, and I ordered the Dads cream of crab soup.
