BoBaPoP Tea Bar

Located in Federal Hill, BoBaPop makes the jump over from South Maryland to Baltimore! Parking nearby can be challenging but there is free street parking a block prior as well as a block afterward (check signage restrictions) as well as paid metered parking in the area. BoBaPop, like many boba shops, allows customization of drinks in sugar concentration (via % sugar) as well as milk alternatives (including lactose and vegan options), and boba type selection (from standard tapioca to varying flavored popping boba). They also have foams like cheese foam (picture cream cheese foam), puddings, and jelly based syrups to add to your boba.I've been to BoBaPop twice now and have tried a variety of their drinks. There is a bit of indoor seating available if you and some friends want to hang out but I wouldn't describe BoBaPop as the place to get some work done. Fruit tea- Mango green tea 4/5, 50% sweet should be the highest sweet you get, I think there is an initial taste of mango, the aftertaste is more of a bitter jasmine green tea- Sunrise green tea 5/5, blend of passion fruit and strawberry, I preferred this from the fruit tea as it had the tartness of the passion fruit, I've had this twice now and its my favorite! I recommend this at 50% and get this with Mango star jellies for an additional treat!- Kiwichee , 3/5 blend of kiwi and lychee more tart than mango green, I don't love kiwi so this was 3/5 for meMilk tea- Thai tea 4/5, I tried this at 50% sweetness but I should have gone up to 75%- Taro milk, 3.5/5, standard taro, I would recommend going sweeter than 50% for this- Four seasons, 1.5/5, 4 types of green tea, tastes different upon initial taste than aftertaste, I didn't enjoy this because of the variance in green tea flavor profiles made it feel inconsistent to me personally- Japanese brown rice 5/5, I would order this again, it's a nutty milk tea that reminds me of almond milk and a soft milk green tea. Get this at 50% sweetness.- Brown sugar black 4/5, quite sweet at 50 I would go down to 25%, solid classic brown sugar tea- Ali mountain 2/5, just ok, not entertained by it. A less nutty version of Japanese brown rice, I think the light tea works better w soft green tea vs soft black tea

Soooo happy to have a boba place in Fed Hill. This place is legit - can't recommend enough! All of their milk teas are amazing but my favorites are the Ali mountain and Japanese brown rice. They also have a ton of caffeine free options which I love. Staff are great! Prices are very reasonable. I'm going to be a regular here :)

Love love, loved it! I usually do very basic things when it comes to boba but the clerk did a fine job and making suggestions for my sweet tooth. I ordered a "Sunrise" with Lychee jelly and it was heavens kiss :). Inside was nice and spacious & the photo opportunities are to die for! Will definitely be returning!

BoBaPoP Tea Bar is a nice bubble tea spot located in Federal Hill. Their mission is to deliver refreshing drinks made with premium ingredients. I ordered the Taro Green milk tea and my friend ordered the ginger peach fruit tea. Both teas were delicious and refreshing. I will be coming back.

Great new addition to light street! I have been a fan since they opened in Gaithersburg, so I was super stoked to hear they were opening here. The space is well lit, Welcoming, and clean. The staff were nice and helpful. I thought my red bean slush was a bitSweeter than I'm used to, but might ask for less sweet next time if that's possible. I hope they get lots of business!

Brown sugar latte is my go-to at BoBaPoP! Usually 30% sweetness is perfect for me. They also use real tea leaves to brew the tea and make their tea taste better and more authentic than other boba stores. The sitting area is very cute with charging ports and nice music. Would recommend!

Good quality boba tea shop. Super clean inside. Staff is knowledgeable and takes pride in their product.
