Blue Pit BBQ and Whiskey Bar

I ordered their 10 person catering for a watch party last night. Everyone kept saying how great the pulled pork and Mac and cheese was. I mean everybody. I send their website to at least 10 people.On top of that, I when I showed up to pick up the food their staff was attentive, working hard, and got things to me right on time.I will definitely be going back.

Been here a couple times and my family and I love it. Last time our order had some things missing and the owner immediately reached out to my mother apologizing and making amends. A owner that cares makes the difference. Highly recommend this place

Low quality picture for a high quality restaurant. Got this for the first time because the restaurant was supporting the recent Keswick fires in Hampden in Baltimore. Being able to support this restaurant in their support efforts makes the food even more incredible and definitely a place worth checking out in the future!

This review is strictly for the bar and drinks.....Parking is madness so be sure to allow time to find street parking. Walk or Uber here. Ample seating in the bar area.I ordered two drinks . Those slushy drinks are strong if you like a bang for your buck it was absolutely delicious.Prices are good.Bartenders were attentive and very friendly.

Been to Blue Pit bbq a few times, once for a birthday and a few times for their delicious barbecue. I love the fact that they support Barcs and have a great whiskey collection.We've eaten inside and outside on the patio, and while it was chilly the day we were there they provided some heaters to keep us warm. Would highly recommend trying this spot for some great barbecue and a good time.

The brisket, beans, and mac and cheese were definitely the highlights! Smokey sauce was on point. Overall, it was a great chill little spot. Street parking wasn't too hard to find.

The food came out promptly. The ribs were smoked to perfection, sauces were not needed but they were a great addition. Especially the Sweet Hot Sauce. I tried every sauce except the Coffee and they were great. The service was great, even though there was an event upstairs, we were well taken care of.

Came to. Blue Pit for a Yelp event between them and Baltimore Spirits. Got to sample their Brisket, Pulled Chicken, Baked Beans and Mac and Cheese. The staff was great and very helpful, and the food was equally as good. The Brisket was the best, actually was perfect without any additional sauce. The Pulled Chicken was juicy and tender, but needed some sauce to spice it up. They had 4 sauces available: Coffee, Mustard, Sweet Hot and Smoke. The Coffee was my favorite, and it went well with the chicken. The Mac and Cheese was nice and hearty, with a spicy finish sneaking up on you. The Baked Beans had a whole load of brisket mixed in and was also a top pick for me. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in Baltimore.

Had a nice little time at the bar having a happy hour drink. I was attending the Yelp event and arrived a hour early so decided to have a drink at the bar to kill time. Luckily happy hour was still going on. I decided to have an Old Fashioned since Blue Pit is known as a whiskey bar. Bar tender gave me a menu and kept my glass full of water. It wasn't very busy at the bar so he was pretty attentive. Since I only had a hour I didn't order any food. I would have gotten some fried but I did not see any on the menu. My Old Fashioned came out pretty fast. It was good but they used regular ice instead of a large whiskey cube so as a sipped on it it was diluted by the melting ice. I didn't make it to the outdoor patio area. I see that they are dog friendly and did see a few people going out to the patio with their 4 legged friends. Bar wasn't very crowded and they had some baseball games on the TV behind the bar.

Great portion sizes. Tried some additional bbq flavors. The staff was welcoming and attentive.
