This location is more modern than the original. Went on a weekday around lunch time and there was no wait. They add 20% gratuity to any checks over $50. The sweet baby Jesus was good with LOTS of crab. The captain crunch French toast was okay but I can't remember why I loved it so much when I had it about 10 years ago Their house made salsa was good as a complement to the sweet baby Jesus.

Overall: Good food and service with a unique rock & roll ambiance.Food:-Cheesy Grits: Flavorful, not overly rich. 8/10-Sweet Baby Jesus (with sunny side up egg): Deliciously sweet crab, excellent mix of flavors and textures--crispy hash browns, tomatoes, hollandaise sauce, and eggs.Drinks: -Coffee: Standard diner coffee. 7/10-Water: Slightly off taste but drinkable. 6.5/10Accessibility / Transportation:-Walkable from nearby hotels, with parallel street parking available.Ambiance:-Rock & roll-themed breakfast spot with music at a pleasant volume for conversation. Notable track: "You Shook Me All Night Long" by AC/DC. Wall decor is also available for purchase.Cleanliness:-Clean enough, with nothing particularly noteworthy.Service:-Fast, attentive, and friendly. Food arrived within 15 minutes, and the bill came without prompting about 10 minutes after finishing.Value:-Decent value--sharing an entree with a side was satisfying, but adding another side or dessert would enhance the meal.Wait Time:Saturday morning wait for two was around 15 minutes but took only 5. Walk-ins only, no reservations.Personal Note: Although I would have liked an espresso drink, they keep it classic here. I'd definitely come back!

Blue moon too is seriously one of the best breakfast/brunch locations in Baltimore. It's a staple! Here and miss Shirley's! They're my absolute favorite! The captain crunch or the Maui wowie are my too favorites! This place is so clean, the service is great since it's all simple open room with a bar. I'd highly recommend this spot

We visited this spot on a Sunday afternoon and experienced a 45-60 minute wait, but the time passed quickly. Having been to the Blue Moon Cafe in Fells Point before, I was already familiar with the menu, though I was pleasantly surprised to find this location much larger. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was lively with great customer service. However, I was a bit disappointed that they didn't offer mimosas--definitely a letdown. On the bright side, the coffee was excellent! If you're considering a visit and there's a wait, I'd definitely say it's worth it.

Creative and flavorful breakfast options. An absolute 10/10.I ordered the Crab dip French toast, Apple juice, & cheesy grits - also tasted pina colada French toast.Crab dip French toast was AMAZING. I was hesitant but packed with flavor and full of actual crab lumps. Definitely worth the $35 price tag. If you like crab dip, get this. Cheesy grits were HELLA cheesy, only needed a little butter and pinch of salt. Add those while still hot.I hate coconut but the Pina Colada French toast was very good. The cream ontop was a little too sweet, but without it, very good.Pros: Bigger location, fast turnover, customer service.Cons: No bar, a little tight seating. When your name is on list, do not leave, the just call out your name, no electronic based system.
