Blue Crab Express

Grew up eating blue crab but not available here in Oregon. Dungeness crabs are good but not near as sweet as Maryland blue crab. My husband ordered me 3 lbs of lump meat and it was the best birthday present ever. Blue Crab Express was great to deal with and stand by their service. There was a little glitch outside of their control but they went over and above to make sure I received my gift. We will be ordering from them again. I used 2 lbs to make the crab chilau (google recipe) and 1 lb for crab cakes.

Was very disappointed with my crabs.Been 25 years since I have any MD crabs and was so looking forward to them .Was given a gift of a half bushel long time ago from another company and was expecting these to be the same.They came still warm even though shipped overnight,seasoned well and were great.The ones I got sat were cold and no seasoning on them I could see.Didn' t taste like a MD crabs at all.For all I know they could have come from any where. Will never order from here again.

We scheduled a trip to Maryland Pennsylvania, West Virginia and DC, in Late August. Due to the many restrictions we decided to cancel the trip and bring Maryland to us. We ordered 1/2 bushel of the "Jumbo 6 to 7 inches", to have a Maryland Crab Feast in California. We invited the neighbors and provided instruction and implements to enjoy the delicacy. The crabs were within the size and for the most part heavy to medium (three were crushed and uneatable) . Being from Maryland (Chester) I was somewhat disappointed with the seasoning, it failed to match the seasoning you get at Harris or other local crab houses (it lacked the salt and kick I am accustomed). Overall, it was a good experience and would do it again until we can get to the Kent Narrows Crab Houses.FYI; They are not really in Chester.

Nothing beats sweet blue crab. Did you know you don't need to go to a seafood store and pay unreasonably high prices? Ordered a bushel of uncooked my first time and they were absolutely delicious. So this time? Steamed and seasoned perfectly. The claw meat was plump and succulent. They were just perfect. Delivered by 3 pm cold packed in dry ice. We got about 4 dozen in a half bushel. Can't wait to order again.

Of "Fa, If your thinking of Seafood, Try Maryland Blue Crab, Not Just , But a wide variety of Fresh caught Seafood. Wow, From Crabs,smalls to Jumbos, Fillet, & Maine Lobster. The picture doesn't do justice OMG. You know the saying ,A picture is worth a Thousand words. It truly is here. Try it you will Like it.

Delivered as promised. Stuffed, heavy crabs full of sweet meat. Not a bad crab in the bunch! Thank you. I will be ordering again.

UNDEPENDABLE! This place runs MARYLAND BLUE CRAB EXPRESS- I ordered a Father's Day special and spent a little over $700 (VERY EXPENSIVE, but I thought it was worth it as a combined gift for my husband, father-in-law and brother). Everyone was so looking forward to our celebratory feast! For Father's Day, we invited our entire family over to enjoy crab on the 17th. Well, not only was the crab not delivered, but there was no consumer service person available to explain or help with anything. We were so disappointed. Ruined Father's Day.

I grew up near the Chesapeake Bay and learned to catch, cook and pick crabs at an early age. I currently live in Buckeye, AZ (the desert!) and enjoy crabs shipped to my house that remind me of those days. The MBCE staff is awesome and have helped ensure crabs delivered here are of superior condition, just like being in the DE, MD, PA area. I have ordered several times, and the only time a shipment arrived late/bad, they immediately sent another order, with extras! The crabs were delicious!! Thank you!!

Have used MD Blue Crab Xpress for many years now. Getting my blue crab "fix" several times per summer here in Calif (I grew up in VA and spent summers at my grandmothers in MD on the Bay). Always great service. On the very few occassions when I had an issue, they were responsive and quickly corrected the issue. I have ordered mostly steamed crabs, but also crab cakes, scallops, shrimp, oysters, amd mahi mahi. I would highly recommend MBCE! I am placing my first order of the Summer next week!
