The thing I miss the most about Baltimore (my home for 3 years), aside from my best friend, is my home away from home, The Blarney Stone. This is my Cheers. I love the cheap drinks, I love the awesome and friendly bartenders, I love the actual wood of the bar. Everything in there is to make you feel comfortable and at home. If I had one complaint (and it's not really their fault) is it can get PACKED with the "WHOOO! OMG, Heather, Tiffany, Chad and Brad" crowd on the weekends and they really go against the laid-back local feel that I love so much about it. But, as those people pay for drinks just the same as I do, I can't begrudge my bartenders their paycheck. My suggestion is to go early on a Sunday and let the crowd grow around you. If you like a nice, small Irish style pub, this is your destination. If you like loud, bleach blonde tangerines with legs, the Green Turtle is right down the block.

The Blarney Stone is an amazing local barPool table. Jukebox. Good selection on the bar. don't come here for something fancy. Great local place to check out if you're interested in just having a good drink and chilling with friends. Usually not too crowded so you can chat with your friends. Plenty of bar top seating and tables.

Friendly attentive bartender. Cold beer. Clean and well lit. Local crowd. Saw bags of chips, but do they have food or a menu?

On to my next Irish Bar. Blarney Stone is a great place to play pool. And they had ice cold Budweiser in the bottle. Lots of friendly people , oh watch out for the pool sharks

If you just ate but want amazing service and great drink prices. The place to be very home feeling. The kinda bar you walk in knowing no one. Walk out somehow knowing everyone.

One of my favorite bars in Baltimore. Over the years I have developed a friendship with the bartenders it be a very friendly very efficient. This place has a very nice jukebox the plays all types of music it's one of the best in the city you can hear from friends Sinatra to the latest 50 Cent song sometimes people come in and just play pool for couple of hours just listen to music and drinkingAlso interesting about those bars they have a countdown clock for counting down till St. Patrick's Day I love Sam is clock in motion as I'm drinking my beer thinking about St. Patrick's DaySo if you're looking for for only bar with lots of many people live it's a great place to chill out and have a beer with the bartenders the prices are great and they're very friendly

Great selection of beer. The bartender is incredible - thanks Greg. The people in the pub were all very friendly and the music on the juke is phenomenal.

This Pub is basic and sub par with a very limited selection of drinks. The staff I experienced (Greg) was rude and limited in his knowledge of drinks other than what's on tap. The Manager, Christopher Ignowski (Iggy) is lackluster and inefficient when addressing problems with his staff. This is a true dive bar that has no sense of loyalty to it frequent customers. I will NEVER patron this establishment again nor will I refer anyone here for future reference.

Jeff is a Gem. Espresso martini was delicious. Perfect balance. Ask about the mozzarella sticks. OMG!That pull... drooool.Apparently it's a inside joke to tap your glass on the bar for service. Kinda like a secret handshake.

Lovely little pub and great place to see an Orioles game. Attentive, friendly service. Next door to a larger, crowded pub, if that's your thing.
