Yesssss! I have had this place on my list for forever and it did not disappoint! It's only open Thursdays and Saturdays and the menu changes each week. Their Instagram posts the menu so make sure to follow them. I went on Saturday for their breakfast and will happily go on a Thursday to try their lunch/dinner. We got the lamb on a cheddar and thyme biscuit--incredible. We tried a plain biscuit too and the cheddar one beat it. We also got an apple and sweet potato hash which was delicious. Highly recommend for breakfast!

Whoa my breakfast biscuit was phenomenal! I was in town visiting my foodie bestie (@amandatheepicure) for her birthday. She has a collection of places she wants to visit and this was on it. Blacksauce Kitchen is a catering spot that is only open on Thursdays and Saturdays for normal takeout. The menu is constantly changing. On this visit, during the first weekend of November, we enjoyed an incredible barbeque lamb with free range egg on cheddar thyme biscuit. The lamb melted in our mouths and it was an explosion of delicious flavors. The cheddar thyme biscuit complimented the whole dish and really brought it together. It was so yummy. It was also a huge serving that had me saving half of the sandwich for later. Our other friend ordered a normal biscuit and their potato hash which was also yummy and unique with bits of apple in it. I'd highly recommend checking this spot out.

We were quite sad that we hadn't had the chance to go check out Blacksauce on our way out of Baltimore, but luckily found their stall at the 32nd at Charles village farmers market on our last morning! We got the bbq beef with egg sandwhich and it was absolutely fantastic. Something about eating the warm and soft biscuits, with the gorgeous runny yolk of the egg and the extremely flavorful beef really just made our morning. Definitely will come back to try out their other options whenever we are in town!!

I ordered a steak biscuit for Saturday and then went to the farmers market to get a pork belly biscuit for my partner (nuts, I know lol). Both were worth the time and effort. The steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked and the pork belly? Holy crap. Bomb.

Only open for in-person biscuits and such on Thursday and Saturday mornings; otherwise, order ahead online or catch them at farmers markets (e.g., 32nd St Waverly). The barbecue lamb and egg on large buttermilk biscuit was melt-in-your-mouth delicious! Note: Selections change often. Other than one booth and stools along a wall table, there are a few benches outside. As it was drizzling, I chose a stool--and then it got busy! There is also wall where local works are showcased. I've already been back or ordered online!Further note: Parking is metered on this busy street, but then you have to drive down oneway streets to park on 2-hr. side streets--which I do! Watch out for traffic! Although Blacksauce Kitchen is in Remington, there is only a Get Shredded Vintage and 29th Street Tavern along this somewhat barren, small industrial buildings area. However, a short stroll up the street has more places to see.

My cousin was adamant about getting here because they operate on a 2 day schedule. She ordered us a few biscuit sandwiches. We ate in the car because we were on the move that day. It's a small setting, was clean inside, service was decent. The biscuits were delightful. Soft, buttery, crumbly, moist. Fresh to order. We had some steak, some bbq lamb and a sweet chicken type. I tried every single one and could not stop the expressive ooooohhhss and yummies from coming out my mouth between bites. The steak was savory and slightly overdone for me but very good with the egg and biscuit. Bbq Lamb was the most interesting pairing well in a breakfast sandwich. I would have never thought to put lamb in breakfast. The chicken was good with some type of sweet sauce on it that was good on the biscuit alone.

The best biscuits ever! We had them at the farmers market and they were still amazing. The chicken biscuits were to die for! We went again the next week and the flavors had changed, still good but less flavorful. I will be coming again

Every time I am in town, I order from this place every Saturday morning. However, every Saturday morning, the customer service continuously and consistently gets worse. Like seriously, horrible! I don't even understand it. It makes swallowing the food extra hard because you know that you just left having a horrible experience. They say that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. I am now done. When I left today, I left my food outside the front of the establishment. Please give it to person that comes by that may not be able to afford a sandwich. If this is the negative energy you get via customer service, what kind of energy is making the food? This is an $11 lesson which is pretty inexpensive in the grand scheme of things.
