It's a great little neighborhood spot with a lively atmosphere. The plating in-house was attractive and the service was solid but our "to go" orders have been reliably good as well. Loved the K Pop; the flavors were great. They use decent sized white meat cutlets on their sandwiches and "clean" the chicken enough that there are no weird fatty bits. Sweet merciful Lord that is so important to me in a chicken sandwich. I'd love to see them offer a chicken sandwich with homemade pimiento cheese and some candied jalapenos, but that's just residual longing for a chicken sandwich I grew very attached to in Appalachia. Damn, I miss that sandwich. The pizza crust was surprisingly good for an American joint - chewy, a nice little char on it and a decent size for an individual entree. Assuming that's supposed to be an individual entree - just let me believe it's an individual entree. Our kids ask for their wings fairly often and while they are pricey, the size of the wings are decent and the honey garlic and lemon pepper sauces are good. Yes, they're doing a little somethin' with their bacon jam and cool aesthetic, but it's not a steakhouse. I wouldn't expect a spot serving beer and wings to provide me with space for contemplative thought and deep conversation. People are enjoying themselves and given the open floorplan there will be noise. It wasn't an issue for us. Overall, nice spot to meet your neighbors or take the kids for a weeknight dinner. I'm glad they opened up nearby and hope they do well.

What a disappointing first impression. I honestly haven't experienced such poor service in a long time. From start to finish, our group felt unwelcome and unaccommodated for. We must have waited nearly 45min before anyone took our order, after waiting close to a half an hour at a dirty table before anyone came to bus/clean it. Our questions about whether we should order at the bar or not were met with annoyance and a dismissive attitude.Once we finally got food, the burgers and wings were enjoyed overall. As the vegetarian at the table, I was disappointed by the lack of options. I settled for the "Veg" board, which was fine but felt more like a "girl dinner" than anything else with an odd assortment of components. The absence of any cheese or other spreads beyond mustard and a jam on the board was also notable.Sadly, ever since the switch in head brewer, the quality of brews at Black Flag has continued to go downhill. The IPAs are missing the mark, while the rest of the tap list is consistently unremarkable.Unfortunately, not sure we'll be racing to come back.

Food: 3Service:5Ambience:5Value:3Would I go back? If some friends wanted to check it out or if I was into craft beers esp IPAs then yes. But for the food, it's a bit expensive for what it is. The pizza's cheese literally all fell off in 1 piece. The wings were cooked well but very salty. And the burger was good but not $25+ worth.. Salad was what you'd expect- nothing special. We did have an issue where 1 of the wings was undercooked (a bigger chicken leg) and had to return the dish. Our waitress ordered us another but they mixed it up with someone's order so they ended up just giving us a gift card which was very nice of them.

Solid experience at Black Flag. Went on the earlier side on a Saturday evening. It was already pretty crowded, but we did get one of the last tables right away. Only downside was the noise, the building doesn't absorb any sound, so it gets kind of noisy when crowded (if that's the type of thing that bothers you). Other than that, the food and service were great! Tried the everything pretzel app, and while it was a little honey mustard heavy for me (not a fan of mustard), if you're into it, I'm sure it would be great. Got the K Pop fried chicken sandwich for an entree (Fried Chicken, Honey Garlic Glaze,Asian Slaw, Gochujang Aioli), and it was DELICIOUS!! The slaw was a great addition really balancing it out. Can't wait to try more chicken sandwiches. Finished off with the skillet cookie dessert with ice cream. Full disclosure that I love underbaked cookies, and this one delivered. I couldn't tell if it was actually supposed to be THAT under, but the server said it is intended to be soft. Either way, it was amazingly gooey in the best way, and 3 of us finished in like 2 mins.

We decided to try this place for the first time for dinner. It was busy inside but not overly crowded. We were seated rather quickly. We ordered the bbq shrimp appetizer and two burgers. The shrimp were overcooked but the burgers were delicious. The fries were also great; crispy and seasoned.

I have always enjoyed black flags, beers, and had been wanting to check out the new social house for a while. It is conveniently located near where I live. I came on a rainy Thursday evening. There was plenty of parking available. It is located on Marysville Road behind a little shopping center Sitting aside all by itself. It was not very crowded with a moderately noisy level inside. They had football playing on the TV by the bar. The dining area was pretty empty with most of the activity being located in the bar area if they tall tables. I decided to sit at the bar and ordered a burger With fries and a beer. A burger was delicious prepared medium well like I enjoy it. The fries were nice and crispy. The bartender was great and knowledgeable. They had a few beers that I was not familiar with since I have not been in a while and he did recommend a couple for me to try. I enjoyed one and ordered a full size serving, but cannot remember the name of it now . Definitely enjoyed myself. It's a great place to meet up with buddies after work or to catch a game.

The menu and other reviews had me pumped to visit this place, but sadly I was super underwhelmed.Overall- cute ambiance, good beer selection, fun menu, but underwhelming food and service, with gendered multi-stall restrooms We tried going on 4pm on a Saturday and there was an hour wait, so we went back on a weekday. It wasn't packed and we were seated right away but the food still took forever to come out. The menu reads like all things I'd be stoked to eat, but I didn't have anything I'd want to eat again. The crab pretzel was burnt and too saucy, but the not burnt pretzel had good flavor. The asparagus was wildly over-salted. The pizza, fries, and chicken sandwich were very lame. I don't mind paying that kind of money for food when it's good, but this was not worth it.

summary: newer spot operated/owned by Black Flag. Beautiful venue that offers their signature drinks and fancier pub food items. I thought the menu and venue were great, but was a bit disappointed by the execution of the food.details:Venue is beautiful (it's also brand new). There's seating indoors and outdoors and it fills up VERY quickly on peak hours, so keep that in mind if you're going. We went on an off-hour on a weekday, so it wasn't quite as busy. The staff was kind/attentive and the drinks were good. I will say it'd be cool for Black Flag to include non-alcoholic options to their tap list. The food is where all of the disappointment was for me. Looking at the menu, everything sounded great. We ordered the crab pretzel, chicken sandwich, and the carnivore pizza. The crab pretzel and the pizza were a bit overcooked and there was way too much breading on the pretzel. The chicken sandwich lacked much "pop" to the flavor and fell kind of flat. Not sure if this is attributed to a newer kitchen staff, but that was our experience.closing:I think the Social House is still a very cool spot with lots of potential. The menu is already great from reading it, I think if there was fine tuning on the execution, it can really elevate the place to the next level.

Visited Black Flag Social House for the first time to try something new, and it did not disappoint! My husband has always been a fan of Black Flag's beer, so when we saw they opened up their social house, we knew we had to visit. Upon arriving, we were quickly greeted by the host staff and seated at a table.Natalie L. was our server for the night, and she was very attentive and friendly! My husband had the Cocoa Sombrero Stout, which he loved so much that he bought some cans of it to take home on our way out! Once we ordered our food, it came out pretty quick! We ordered the Dutch Pretzels Chesapeake Style, Big Black Flag Burger and the Brownie Sundae. The pretzels were HUGE! Honestly, could have been a meal by themselves! Very different to your traditional crab pretzels, and had a bit more of a sweet taste to them versus the classic savory. The burgers were a bit messy, but delicious, and also were quite large in portions with a bunch of fries. Even the pickle was huge, which we loved! Not shortcuts here. Lastly, we had the brownie sundae, which was a great end to our meal. The brownie was moist and soft, and paired perfectly with the ice cream. There was even some cookie butter on it!Black Flag Social House is a great place to bring the family or even have a night out with friends! We can't wait to be back!

Been there 4 times, so here's an aggregate review of the visits:Great beer, truly great. The Flagship IPA in particular was spectacular. Others deserve mention as well, like the Session IPA and maybe the Hazy. The outdoor space is very nice if the weather is. A bit on the small side, but cozy. Indoors is loud most visits, and VERY loud when it's packed. So loud, it's hard to understand your tablemates or the waiter/waitress.Food - not terrible, but I can't call it good either. The salads are ample and tasty, but the baked pretzel appetizer and all of the pizzas I've had were very greasy. Not pleasant. Lots of the pizzas don't have a red sauce, so if that's important to you, ask (although, that's no guarantee as some servers have no idea). The service - mostly very good! But we've had the misfortune of having an inattentive, rude, even snotty, server named "Sophia" who was a real doozy. Run away if you get Sophia. Taking a star off for her, and for the meh food. It has a LOT of potential though, maybe the menu will gel and service will settle into excellent.
