I only wish I had tried BK Lobster Baltimore sooner! Brooklyn (BK) reinvented lobster rolls in the early 2000s, adding creative twists to classic Maine-style (cold lobster salad with mayo) and Connecticut-style (warm lobster with butter) rolls by incorporating unique ingredients, spices, herbs, and artisanal bread. These innovations made BK rolls a staple of the borough's modern culinary identity. We loved the chef's favorite Crown Heights roll--a crispy, fried delight topped with seasoned aioli (BK sauce)--and the simple, fresh East New York roll served on buttery, flaky toast. I'd recommend ordering takeaway, though the high-top counters give the spot a true NY-style vibe.

When my sister came to visit from Philly, she wanted seafood, and I knew just where I wanted to take her. I'd seen BK Lobster Baltimore all over Instagram and had been wanting to check it out. Despite the cold, rainy night, we decided to give it a try--and it was absolutely worth it.We arrived pretty late, right before closing, but the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. Even though their burners were already off and they were cleaning up, they didn't turn us away. That level of hospitality is rare and so appreciated. The space is small but cozy, with a family-friendly vibe that made us feel welcome immediately. As we waited for our food, the staff shared the history of BK Lobster and their vision. It was nice to get that personal touch and learn more about what makes the place special. We ordered their famous lobster rolls and chose the East New York roll with fries and a side of their house sauce. Let me tell you--they do not hold back on the lobster! The roll was loaded with fresh, juicy lobster, and the house sauce added just the right amount of flavor. It was absolutely delicious. While we were waiting, the staff mentioned a red snapper special they had coming up and even brought out one of the snappers to show us. It was huge! Just seeing it was enough to make me decide I'll definitely be back to try it.Overall, BK Lobster Baltimore exceeded my expectations. From the friendly, family-oriented atmosphere to the generous portions and incredible flavors, it was a memorable experience. If you're in the mood for seafood and a warm, welcoming vibe, this is the place to go. I'm already planning my return visit!

East New York Roll was delicious! I'm more of a simple sandwich person so the lobster and butter was enough for me. The roll was toasted with like a garlic butter and it was delicious! I also ordered the snapper bites with the jerk sauce. The jerk sauce was perfectly spicy and complemented them well. They have good lunch specials with certain lobster rolls. I ordered ahead shortly after they opened and the timing was great. I will definitely be back!

This was the first time I got to try this restaurant. It was a very long wait but I believe they were understaffed as they only had two people working. However with the fried lobster rolls we ordered, they were absolutely AMAZING. The lobster was perfectly fried and seasoned, the bread was the perfect consistency, and the lemon was the cherry on top. Also I don't know what's in that BK sauce but it is TOP TIER.

The fried shrimp was good, not the best I've had but decent enough. The fries aren't that great to be honest. The BK sauce is good it reminds me of chic fil a sauce. They fix the food in a timely manner which is cool. The staff are nice.

I came here for Baltimore Restaurant Week earlier today and got the East New York lobster roll for lunch. It was amazing! I love lobster and I like my seafood on the saltier side, so this was perfect for me. The slight crisp of the bun really enhanced the texture of the lobster chunks, and the amount of butter on the bun was just right.I'll be back to try other items on the menu! The Lobster Mac & Cheese and the Lobster Grilled Cheese are next on my list.

I saw BK Lobster on Instagram and knew I had to give them a shot. My son had a basketball game in Baltimore and I knew this would be my shot. I decided to call ahead to see if this was a sit down restaurant or more of a carry out. She informed me they had seating so we drove on over. The seating is small. Its a bar strip with 4 stools. This is definitely a carry out spot. The young lady at the register was very friendly and kindly took my order. I opted to go with the Trio and an order of Lobster Mac and Cheese. My Trio options were East New York tossed in warm butter. Delicious Delicious Delicius. Tons of Lobster on a nicely buttered roll.Crown Heights (Lobster with BK Sauce Drizzle.Lobster BLT (Lobster with Bacon Lettuce and Tomato. All 3 were top notch. Plenty of Lobster and at the price point I think it is really good. Everything was hot and fresh out the kitchen. (We were the only ones in there on a Saturday at 4:45 which surprised me)We also ordered some Lobster Mac& Cheese. This was good however I'm used to the lobster being baked in with the Mac & Cheese. Here it is not. Still good with good portions of lobster. The food was great. If I'm in the area again I'm definitely stopping by. I'll be calling ahead as it took about 20 minutes to get our food.

This is not a sit down restaurant, definitely more take out friendly. However, there are bench's and a high top counter for you to sit at. As a native Brooklynite living in Bmore there Bk inspired rolls does take me back home. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful when ordering. Now the food... it was great! It might have been even better had I went home right away but even with it being luke warm it was still delicious. The Mac however was not my favorite but it was still enjoyable. I definitely will be returning to try out there other menu options. My order was East NY roll, Mac Lobster & Fries.

Why is BK known for lobster? Why are they in Baltimore? I dunno but I'm here for it. This place is mostly carry out they do have a narrow bar and a couple stools but that's an about it for seating. That's not the important part you're here for the lobster and they have good options. What I tried:Fish sandwichFried shrimp Lobster saladLobster rollAll good options the lobster roll was the least favorite but I think I was looking for a more buttery roll like I was in Maine and this is a BK roll so to each his own. Prices made sense for what you were buying and you got a good amount of lobster and shrimp for your troubles. This is a nice in and out spot when you have a lobster craving on this side of town

I gotta say I was very disappointed. My friend had been wanting to come here. We happened to be in the neighborhood so we came for take out before heading to one of our favorite distilleries. I will also say I had JUST returned from a holiday in Maine so my expectations were HIGH!We had a lovely conversation with the yoing lady taking orders. She told us about the family business and offered suggestions based on their most popular items. After much consideration, I ordered the the East New York, fried haddock sandwich, and clam chowder. Everything looked promising, but the chowder was ONLY thing I enjoyed. The fried haddock was so overcooked and dry that the fish had shriveled away from the batter leaving an air pocket; if you've ever had overcooked fried seafood you know exactly what im talking about. The lobster was equally (but somehow more egregiously) overcooked. It was chewy, tough, and so salty it was inedible. I might try again but the first impression wasn't a good one. The pics on this one are very misleading
