Turkey wrap was a little light, but it was good. I'll have to try more on the menu later.

Great lunch option! I had the veggie wrap which was great. A variety of options to choose from. Perfect to pick up for a work meeting.

Bethesda Deli has great sandwiches for lunch. I particularly recommend the tuna melt and the chicken Philly. Lucy and her crew are very friendly and I have never had a bad meal here.

Customer service is out of this world!Lucy will remember your order after going just one time. I took several of my coworkers there and now they're regulars as well. Their chicken salad sandwich is a tasty treat and huge. On a cold day, I highly recommend their steak and cheese sub. They make their soups from scratch every morning, and I love their Strawberry and Mango smoothie. Not only is the food delicious, it's the customer service that makes people want to return again and again. Thank you for all your hard work, I really appreciate it:)

I'm a regular at this place only because I work in the vicinity. First time there, the manager who is rude...lol...worked the cashier, she's charming in a superficial way, but the act is disingenuous. After going there for 3 years now, but only when in need of quick view, you can tell how she treats customers differently...all I'll say is that if you have a certain hue of skin, you'll be treated with a nicer tone, eye contact and actual professionalism in the place. I've stopped going there.

Located towards the Wisconsin side of the Bethesda Place plaza. Very friendly service by the ladies behind the counter. Order at the left, pay on the right. Kind bars by the register. Basic beverage options in the fridge. Was hoping for a savior for my morning dose of mercury now that Uptown's gone, but no dice. Better toasted lox bagel than St Elmo, but inferior size and portioning to Woodmont Deli.

I usually give places the benefit of the doubt. But for Bethesda Deli, I have given them the benefit of the doubt for the last time. I was served a stale muffin there once that was so dry it had to be at least two days old. I chalked it up as a fluke and didn't order any more muffins. Another time I was served a hot sandwich that was so mushy I couldn't even hold it in my hands to eat it. Once again, I let it slide and didn't buy any more sandwiches. Today, I bought a pre-prepared chef salad. It looked decent enough. But when I got back to my office and opened it, all the lettuce at the bottom of the container was rusty red!! It had obviously been in the cooler for several days. I was afraid to eat any of it since it had meat and eggs on it. So I through the $9.00 salad in the trash.Serving food past it's edible date is unsatisfactory at any level. Now the only thing I will ever purchase there is an occasional cup of coffee. That's it.

Not bad. Not bad at all. Not great... but not bad...Bethesda Deli is a tiny little place that as no tables or chairs (although there are some outside) and is mainly, strictly take-out. The workers are all Asian and some of them don't speak English very well. Sometimes it's hard to communicate, but in the end, annunciating excessively does the trick. Here, you can get sandwiches, soups, salads... all the usual deli things. Sandwiches are decent enough, although I think they are a bit expensive when you look at what you are getting. I mean, it's normal sandwich bread that contains whatever you want in it from $5 - $7. Sure, it's not bad, but if I were to make that same sandwich at home, it would cost me $1 or so. Still, I guess you can't expect to pay less. The quality of the ingredients is decent enough. The soups are ok. The chili is good, but I don't think i would really consider it chili. It's a thick meat soup. Don't get me wrong, it tasted good and has a nice kick, but I don't know if it should fall in the chili category. All in all, it's a decent place for lunch, if you are on the run. I wish they had tables that aren't outside though.

3.5 starsI really like the place -- it might be the best sandwich in Bethesda. Their turkey is fresh and carved to order -- super moist and delicious. I also love their chicken salad. A bit of a limited offering for a deli, but all of the ingredients are fresh and good quality. Very attentive and friendly staff.

I got the Italian sandwich combo and it was really good and worth the price. The manager was very helpful and nice. I will definitely frequent this Deli, especially since sandwiches are one of my favorite foods.
