Great steamed crabs!In over 15 years, crabs have always been fabulous!Good ole community gathering spot!Outdoor seating weather permitting.

Well went with family for a get together. Crabs were not as good as last year. The seafood platter sounded good but when arrived things were overly done and the oil tasted old. Onion rings arrived with heavy batter and overly done. Service was good and very attentive. Ambiance wasn't bad , place was clean from what I could see. Shame that the food has gone down hill since last visit, close and would be nice to have it better.

I made a to go bar order and sat at the bar. did not seem very busy at 2:30pm. Took longer than it should have... about 30 minutes ...but that would have been OK if the food was perfect but it was not. the haddock fish and chips basket had crinkle fries and a few cubes of fried fish product that was underseaoned and dried out. I ordered chicken fingers and got fried chicken instead...onion rings ok but underseasoned...soft crabs OK but they were over seasoned...they also forgot my coleslaw and I had to go back into the restaurant to ask for it (glad I checked)...all in all not worth the time and money for what you get.

I must admit, I've been a loyal customer of Bayside Inn since September 2018 and this is the first time I've ever made a review. I always wanted to keep MY crab spot a secret!!!Whenever I go there, I'm always welcomed by the staff, and their regular customers. The overall vibe is like Cheers. Everyone knows your name and I'm always greeted when I walk in the door!I always get a dozen large male crabs, one pound of steamed shrimp and several libations (I'm always the passenger so I can indulge safely!) The male crabs are flown into town, so they have crabs all of the time. The crabs & shrimp are always seasoned to perfection. They never disappoint! The servers are attentive and quick to come to your table/booth to remove your trash and refill your beverages. If your looking for a low-key spot with delicious seafood, great drinks and service, Bayside Inn is your spot!

This is the typical Maryland crab stop...not fancy....just good! I love the vegetable crab soup! Also try the prime rib!

Best MD blue crabs - heavy & meaty1st time & we're definitely coming back - 50 min drive each way for us. You won't be disappointed.

I love crabs, especially Maryland crabs! For some reason local crabs are hard to find this time of year.(yes there is a huge difference in my opinion) After calling numerous places and being told over and over "we only have Louisiana and North Carolina crabs", I remembered that bayside always has local crabs! Look, this spot is no frills, looks like a total dive but they really know how to steam up some of the best crabs in this area. They are very reasonably priced, I think a dozen number ones were $75 dollars, compared to other places down the road selling them for $120 (and not even local!) The crabs here are great and I always get the hush puppies as well. Service is very efficient, you can tell the ladies that work here have been here for years and know what they're doing. I'll be back again soon!

This place is very friendly from the servers to bartenders and even the cop the Staff is 5 stars by it self and the food is amazing

This place it bad....don't come here....the crabs are better in DC and NoVa.Just kidding, but really, don't come. I want there to be plenty of crabs for us when we come back. The food is fresh and service is very friendly. As others have said, it is a locals place, but everyone is friendly and I enjoyed overhearing the conversations about the neighborhood, the newcomers and the local watermen gossiping. We loved the vibe and will definitely be back to visit this hidden gem.We aren't local but live about half hour away. Definitely worth the trip!
