Bay Shore Steam Pot

My go-to place for deep fried low tide! Best seafood take out in the area! Fish and chips are always good and fresh and their coleslaw is so good my kids love. Po-boys are good but a little light on the shrimp compared to ones I've had in NOLA but still very tasty and satisfy the craving.

Once again, they never disappoint!! The Crab cake sandwich is all that it should be! So delicious and full of lump crab meat!! I highly recommend, again a bit small but as a sandwich it was perfect oh and with a side of delicious onion rings... perfection! LVE this place!!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Bay Shore Steam Pot!This little gem of a place offer steam pots, fresh seafood, weekly specials, and even hot items from their carryout menu (note that there's no dining in and it's only a carry-out type of a place!).The hubs and I were in the area, and we ordered:+Crab Balls - homemade crab balls with mostly all lumps, no filler! These were perfectly fried mini crabcakes that were so addicting!+Beer-Battered Cod - sold by the piece - this was literally one of the best cod I've had! The batter is perfectly golden brown, light, crispy, and the cod itself was super fresh and flaky - YUM!+Macaroni Salad - made in-house daily; it was creamy and the pasta was dressed well+Potato Salad - potatoes were cooked perfectly; this was creamy and everything was dressed well+Coleslaw - also made in-house daily; this was creamy and had a nice tang; perfect with the fried seafoodI would have loved to try their to-go steam pots, but we don't live close by; maybe if we had some type of an overnight trip nearby!They also have catering options.Staff were kind and welcoming. Can't beat the freshness and quality of their fish! I avoid buying fish at the grocery store now unless this place is closed.

Stopped here on a whim while passing through the area and was not disappointed. We got the fried shrimp platter with french fries and coleslaw - everything was great. The shrimp (6) have a very light batter and tasted fresh. The fries were fantastic - hand cut, and not greasy and the coleslaw was tasty - something my husband never enjoys but raved about from here. All in all - a great experience and I would 100% come back again or recommend it if you're passing through.

I had a quick idea to get seafood for dinner tonight. BEST idea in a long time .. I ordered a quart of Cream of Crab and a container of Shrimp salad. Well didn't get a chance to get a picture of the soup it was so good !! The shrimp salad is so very tasty !!! I added extra Old Bay to my items as I like extra spice !!! Delicious!!! 5 plus stars ...

Excellent food. Everything so far has been excellent. Very sweet caring people. Willing to custom prepare if there is something one cannot have or simply doesn't want. Rapid delivery. Just wish they had seating. Highly recommend.

I needed to come back here to make an important point: After buying grocery-store salmon for months, I purchased salmon from Bay Shore last week. It practically melted in my mouth! I can't stress enough how incredibly good the salmon was! I am ruined now from buying seafood at a regular store!

Great family owned. Carry out is brisk. Pricey, however, fresh! I recommend their crab cakes. I broiled thy and delicious! The homemade tuna salad is fantastic. Prices justified by product
