Baugher's Restaurant

Came for early lunch. Staff was helpful and friendly. 2 at our table got the Four Layer and it was solid. I did the Hungry Appleman and it was great. Hot apple cider is a must. Their homemade hot sauce was a treat. Bought some great apples and cider on the way out.

This restaurant has been in business for many years and is an institution in Westminster. The service was good. Our server has been here for 20+ years. Food was okay. The New York strip steak was a little bland for my taste. The onion rings were good. One could choose from their different pies with option of serving it with ice cream. The egg custard pie was fine though I was expecting it to be a little sweeter. After eating, I went to their market where they sold fresh fruits and vegetables, pies, jams. Overall, I will give it 3 stars for affordable price, good food, and homey ambience.

Came here for lunch for the first time with my husband and some friends. Hubby and I ordered their snack attack appetizer, their chili cheese fries appetizer, chef salad, and their beef bbq sandwich.What's hot- Service. We came here on a long weekend, when the wineries were full, so it was difficult finding somewhere we could actually get food and service. We totally appreciate they were able to seat us right away, as well. Service was good and prompt and we didn't have any issues.- Menu. Pretty decent variety- meats and veggies. One of our friends is vegan and she had options, which was helpful. Their breakfast is generally served all day, with the exception of specific items, like hotcakes and specific omelettes, so be prepared on the time of day you come. Their dessert menu looks great.- Portions and price. Good value for money. - Quality. Not bad, but not great. It appears the cheese on my chili cheese fries appetizer was velveeta cheese, but oh well. Tasted decent. They put a good amount of ground beef and bacon on my fries, as well. One of our friends ordered their fried chicken, which came our tender and not overly battered. - Parking. There's a decent size parking lot, which is helpful, because this spot appears popular with the locals.- Shop. The restaurant is right next door to the market, which is extremely helpful in that you can get some food shopping done while you're there. What's not- Quality. As previously mentioned, not bad, but not great. This place appears to cater towards the locals and random tourists/passersby. It's nothing to write home about, but it's dependable. Final answerNot bad. Probably wouldn't be on my list of top places to return to, but it's good and dependable.

The server was so helpful and nice. I had the Baugher's burger. It was ok. The ice cream was ok. I was hoping for more emphasis on produce from their farm.

It's always a hit. This time, we had the steak and eggs. The steak was nice and juicy. The scrambled eggs we delicious and fluffy. The kid had the pancakes with Scrapple. Both were delectable. Even the toasted English muffin was better than most. Nice and crispy without being burnt. My coffee was good. The service was great and very attentive. The only drawback was the coconut cake was slightly dry. It was a good cake just a bit dry. But I would highly recommend this as a good place for well cooked food. The produce market was also a hit. Picked up cabbage, a sweet watermelon, great cherries, honey, and bananas. All were top quality.

Went with my boyfriend, my mom her boyfriend, my older sister and her boyfriend back in fall had a great time great food. Great eggs ,My family loved their food too great prices different menus for different hours had breakfast was wonderful 10/10. Kinda loud inside crazy parking getting in and out was full had to wait 20 mins a table but over all good

The food was good but has been better before changes in style of cooking . I've been going years gone by but not as good. Sorry

Down to earth meals I had to ready chicken livers and they were done perfectly. Good portion as well. Was certainly enough food but then we saw a banana split go by. If we could have we would definitely ordered it but decided when we come again we will spit a sandwich and order the banana split. Believe me there will be a next time you

I have been going to Baugher's for 50 years and have fond memories eating there with family. On our most recent visit, the staff was friendly and our orders were taken quickly. There were not many customers, yet our order for sandwiches took about 45 minutes to come to the table. The food was good. Our evening was highlighted by a mouse that feared no one and kept running under the tables snatching food. We notified our waitress quietly, but there was no response. We could see the staff watching us react to the mouse each time it came out of its hole near us. As we checked out, I told the manager that if they expected repeat business, they need to deal with the rodent problem. He laughed it off and pointed to a piece of paper saying he would let the GM know. We paid in full. There was no real apology and this certainly was not treated with any seriousness.

We grew up with Baugher's and recently returned during a vacation. It's as good as ever. The cheeseburger sub has been modernized with a zippy sauce. It's still a go to if you are famished. Wait staff are professional and treat each diner well. The pie is a must. All are freshly baked and absolutely delicious.
