A very pretty place to dine. Nice lights. Comfortable wooden tables. The 10 or so times that I've dined here have mainly been lunch, but I've had a couple of dinners here and the food has always been authentic and tasty Nice family run spot.

I had the pleasure of dining at Bangkok Kitchen, and I have to say, the experience was top-notch. Not only was the food incredible, but the service was exceptional--thanks in large part to the amazing owner, Kat. From the moment you walk in, she makes you feel welcome and ensured that every part of your experience is truly authentic to all things Thai. She is attentive, personable, and clearly passionate about providing a great culinary experience. She also does not sit still since she wears multiple hats. It's rare to see someone so involved in the day-to-day operations, and it really made a difference in how the evening went. The food itself was outstanding--everything from the freshest papaya Salad, perfectly spiced Drunken Noodles, tastiest mango sticky rice, to the surprise pour of whiskey at the end, was absolutely delicious. You can tell she takes pride in her food. The ingredients are fresh with nothing but high quality.It's clear that Kat runs a tight kitchen, and her team's dedication to great service really shone through (Mary the lead bartender and floor manager is amazing).In addition to the amazing food, tasty drinks and exceptional staff, coming here also serves as a Thai 101 class! Each time I visit, I learn something new. (101 Drop) Durian: Was able to see and smell Durian for the first time which is a native fruit to Thailand, however, due to its potency and chemical makeup, one cannot eat Durian if you are drinking alcohol. The fruit smelled POTENT but apparently, it's one of the best tasting fruits! (101 Drop) Learned about "Eleven Tigers Herbal" which is a herbal packet that improves one's digestive system and appetite and assists in all things related to women's reproductive care. Kat ages it in one of her favorite liquors for extra potency. Also, the customers here quite the globetrotters. Being directly across from Fort Meade base, you are easily able to meet people from all over the world which leads to the best conversations. If you're looking for not just amazing food but a memorable dining experience, I highly recommend visiting! Odenton has plenty of seedy looking strip malls but I've learned to never judge bc inside of those walls are some of the best authentic local Asian & Thai cuisine. Bangkok kitchen isn't all that great in the way of aesthetics but that's ok, they make up for it with friendly staff, good alcoholic beverages, and most important... delicious food. I've been coming here for years. I've also been a lover of Thai food since I was a kid & I'm known to drive past 3 places that offers the same food as the place I'm going bc the place I'm going does it better. That's confusing to say & read but follow me. My point is, I never have to do that when I'm in the mood for Thai bc Bangkok checks all of the boxes. I got the Pad Kee Mao - drunken noodles with beef & chicken at level three spice(there's 5 levels) & it was as good as it always is, and still very spicy. I'd hate to see what level 5 feels like. The Wife got the Pad See Ew w/ chicken as her protein & rated it a 3.5 out of 5 bc she needed more sauce. Come to think of it, my drunken noodles needed more sauce too, but it was still very flavorful. We finished it off with Thai Tea that we both agreed is a 5 out of 5. If you're in the mood for really delicious Thai, Bangkok won't disappoint.

Worst ever pad thai I have ever had. My husband ordered tofu pad thai and only tofu and noodles in there?? Where r all the veggies? I hate to leave bad reviews but this is truly waste of money

The restaurant itself is not that big, typical mom and pop restaurant. Parking is behind the building. There are two entrances to the restaurant, one on the main street and another behind the building where the parking lot is located. Inside the restaurant you can see alot of the Thai decorations. And the server greeted my husband and I right away once we steps in. Food wasn't bad at all. We ordered a Tom yum soup with chicken, a Green curry with tofu and vegetables, and a Crispy duck. This is the first restaurant that my husband encountered the server asking for the spicy level for the tom yum soup, which was a bit surprising to him. Because normally, it isn't a choice on the level of spicyness. But tbh, I think the soup spicy level is on point, but missing that lemon sour taste though. The green curry was pretty good, except I wish there would be more curry. I feel like enough ingredients but not enough curry when the curry is the main source of the dish. The crispy duck tastes pretty good too. Fairly tender, and very flavorful. But expects alot of chewing from the crunchiness. My husband kept on going at the dish but at the same time complain tired of chewing. Hahaa.

Very few parking spaces in front but plenty in back of establishment.Love going to mom and pop places that are not franchises.Service was great. My son had the shrimp soup aka Thoum Yum with shrimp and I had it with chicken. He had a Thai Tea. I had cashew chicken dish mild and my husband had the Red Curry medium spicy. All dishes were served hot and the spice content to our liking. We are from out of state so we hope to come back before we leave for home. So good!

My foods include pad Thai,fried rice are hot and delicious. Service were quick and pleasant. Price is worthy with. They packed in container and utensils for convenience

*hair in my food*I recently ordered from this restaurant and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience.Firstly, I ordered two items from the menu, and both of them had hair in them. It was not just a single dish, but a long hair in each dish. I was taken aback by this as I've never encountered an issue this extreme before. I couldn't understand how it was possible for hair to be in two different dishes, which made me think that the cook was not following proper hygiene practices. It's concerning that the kitchen staff is not taking cleanliness and hygiene seriously.When I called the restaurant to report the issue, the response was even more disappointing. The person who answered the phone sounded annoyed and uninterested. I explained the situation, and their only response was "call Uber" and then hung up. I was shocked by their dismissive attitude, and it made me feel like they didn't care about their customers' concerns. They didn't offer any apology or compensation, which would have been a basic expectation in this situation.Overall, my experience at this restaurant was quite negative, and I would not recommend it. The hygiene issues and unprofessional attitude of the staff were major concerns. It's important to prioritize customer satisfaction and cleanliness in any food establishment, and this restaurant failed to meet those standards.

So I personally know the owner of the restaurant and we have became really cool with each other. She's amazing in so many ways. The food is authentic and flavorful! Kat is very sweet! I have been going to this restaurant for months now and have even gotten to know the server and the new cook. Apparently the server/cashier started to hit on my husband while we were at the bar numerous times without me looking. My husband has ignored the situation and said he will handle it. Well the cashier from BKK went up to my husband at the bar next door to this place and saw I wasn't there. My husband gave him the cold shoulder thinking that because I wasn't there , this was his opportunity to come in and take my husband. The cashier was in his feelings and we stopped talking to the cashier as well as the cook.I went over as of 12/20/2023 to order some food. The cashier and the cook saw me and completely ignored me and so Kat (the owner) took my order. Kat said she would personally bring my food over to the bar when it was cooked. I ordered the Num Tok and the Lemongrass soup which usually is good. The num tok HAD NO FLAVOR AT ALL AND THE LEMONGRASS WAS HORRIBLE. I texted Kat and told her what happened. I got a refund for the soup and she went in the kitchen and made the num tok beef herself and her husband brought my refund as well as the food. Kat and her husband are great people. However their cashier is suspect and I no longer trust him or the cook they have with my food. Being extra rude to me for no reason was uncalled for! IF YOU WANT GOOD FOOD PLEASE ASK KAT TO PERSONALLY MAKE IT FOR YOU AND SHE WILL

No volcano chicken on the menu so had to try a new dish. Chicken phuket was amazing and will be my new go to dish. Very, very busy (a few dining in, but mostly people waiting for take out) and still excellent service. Dining room was clean. Parked in the rear, and ground was covered with kitty litter to soak up a grease spill. Afraid to eat here a 2nd time because I don't know how the food could be any better.
