Yummy in my tummy! Now, I'm not a big seafood fan at all. As a matter of fact, I only eat shrimp and certain fish. Anything else is either foreign to me or I just don't like it. But that doesn't mean I won't visit a good seafood spot, especially if I'm in such a seafood haven like Baltimore. Well, Baltimore Seafood did a great job of winning my taste buds during a recent visit. My boyfriend and I stopped by for dinner during the final week of December 2024. We simply googled "Seafood restaurants" close to our Airbnb and Baltimore Seafood was not only close but they had great reviews and some weekday specials. We decided to stop by during happy hour. There weren't many people there, so we were seated immediately. The restaurant is nicely decorated with a nautical themed decor including large cast nets on the ceiling, ship artwork, and tubes. The menu is organized nicely and features a variety of seafood, mainly shellfish. They offer an array of appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Then there is a happy hour menu featuring small bites at great price such as wings, fries, and nachos, as well as drinks and shots. In addition, they offer a special menu called, "The Big Catch" where you can choose two types of seafood and a dessert for your meal. All-in-all, you've got OPTIONS! I opted for a fried shrimp basket which included french fries. My boyfriend went for The Big Catch, and what a catch it was! In prep of our food, we were provided a bucket with disposable gloves. Very fun and it created an experience for us. Food was up within a reasonable amount of time and everything was hot and fresh. Firstly, my shrimp was delicious! The texture was perfect and it was cleaned well, meaning no poop shoot. It was also seasoned nicely. It tasted like a very mild cajun or all-purpose seasoning, nothing too salty. The fries were also delicious and nicely crisp. My boyfriend's meal was the real show though. It came on a round platter encased in a plastic bag. You could just see the steam waiting to escape from it, talk about presentation! He ordered snow crab legs, shrimp (with head on), and black mussels in a house special blend sauce with mild spice. The meal includes 1lb of seafood along with corn and potatoes. We shared some of the meal, I only had the shrimp and veggies. The house special blend seemed to be a blend of cajun, garlic butter, and old bay. With that kick of spice, it really hit the spot. I mean, it was finger licking good! Moreover, everything was steamed perfectly as evidenced by the beautiful texture of the items. Now, the shrimp had the poop shoot intact which is a turn off for me but it still tasted good. What I really loved was that the sauce gets sort of trapped in the shell as it steamed, so as you break it apart you're tasting a burst of flavor oozing out of it. Wow! To round out our meal, we had the fried cheesecake. The presentation was cute but I wasn't a huge fan. It was topped with a strawberry sauce which made it too sweet for me but the filling was good. In terms of drinks, we had soft drinks. Overall, a great meal. In terms of service, the staff were kind and welcoming. Everyone greeted us with a smile and maintained a pleasant demeanor throughout our experience. Moreover, they were attentive. We had no issues. The space was clean and service seemed well organized. In terms of pricing, it was a great value in my opinion. The portions were plentiful and enough for leftovers the next day. Kind in mind however, they do charge 18% automatic gratiuity. The staff deserved it for sure but I think tips are discretionary to the patron. Nonetheless, it was a great time overall. We'd definitely return if we were in the area again and I'd highly recommend to others.

The prices are reasonable here, and the food is fine, but it's crazy loud and super tacky. There's no real silverware, making it impossible to actually eat crab legs if you order crab legs as part of your seafood boil, which I did, not realizing there were no real forks--only plastic ones. They won't break up the check more than 4 ways, which I wouldn't normally care about, except that they participate in an app called Timeleft In which 6-7 strangers meet for dinner at a restaurant. (Pretty much all the restaurants that participate in this program understand complete strangers are paying separately.) They automatically add 18% gratuity to all checks, regardless of the number of people in your party, which again, I'm fine with. But then they have "suggested" tips listed at the bottom like it wasn't already added, which I find pretty annoying. I never tip less than 20%, but I get that people can be jerks, so I'm fine with auto gratuity. I'm not fine with pretending you didn't already add it and trying to dupe someone into doubling up and tipping on top of tipping. If you like seafood boils and wearing a plastic bib to dine, this place is fine. The food's not bad, but I would skip the hush puppies. Just bring your own utensils to get into your crab legs, because they won't give you anything other than a plastic fork. This just isn't my scene.P.S. The mango crush was disgusting--don't get it. The color was like toxic nuclear waste. Thank God I only paid $6 for one sip of this HH monstrosity.

Now the first time I went to Bmore Seafood, I really enjoyed it and even posted about them, but my experience on Valentine's Day was very poor, and we did not even get to eat. On Valentine's Day I made an 8:15 pm reservation and called asking to "push it 20-25 minutes minutes back". They asked me if 8:30 or 8:45 would be okay and I confirmed 8:45. Once I arrived (at 8:30) I checked in multiple times and was told our table was not ready each time - figuring because it was busy. I waited for nearly an hour for the table with 2 young babies in the car, upon checking for the last time on what the wait would be. At this point I was told my reservation was at 9:45. This was never stated to me the previous 2-3 times I checked on the wait time, nor did I request this time. I explained that the time they input was incorrect and I've been waiting 1 hr for a table that should've been ready at 8:45. There was no remorse, no friendly service, not even an apology & the response was quite dismissive which made us just say forget it and we would dine elsewhere - which was nearly impossible on a Friday night on Valentine's Day. I was not happy, especially since I had a perfect experience months ago. Not sure if I will be back now due to this experience.

so so good!! their spice levels are definitely on the lower side - I'll definitely be going for one of the spicier levels next time. They're super nice about providing gloves and napkins and the food was really good! cajun and house sauce - !

Really awesome! Would give it 5.5/5 stars. I went two days in a row. Ordered cajun mild weekend royale and build a catch (shrimp crawfish extra corn) for $94 for 3 people. Really enjoyed it, first time having seafood boil. Filling, delicious, and good for price. I liked it enough I went again the day after, got two identical build a catches (shrimp crawfish mild cajun +add eggs) and butter cake. Catches were great and butter cake was to die for for $70.

In love with this place! Why?! My waiter was so cool and just had patience with us. My family was in town and we just needed a little time before we ordered. All the food was incredible. We ordered the hush puppies for our appetizers and some cocktails. Loves both! Our seafood boils were incredible. What really made this place the best for me is the service. When my boil came out the knot was too tight for me to open and my waiter helped me get it open and get some good content. This place 10/10

Im a seafood lover and always try a new spot whenever I visit a city. This place is located off Boston St, hard to see the sign. There is no direct parking so you may need to park a few blocks away. Service was friendly. Food was just ok. Sauce was so-so. There is an 18% automatic gratuity for all party sizes. I would rate food taste 3/5. Wouldn't come again their food is not my preference.

Baltimore Seafood is a decent spot if you're looking to create your own seafood boil with a variety of seasonings to choose from. While the options are great, I found that the flavors didn't fully soak into the seafood the way that I like but I recognize some people may not care about this. The fries came out hot and hit the spot. The atmosphere includes TVs to catch a game. The service was kind and attentive, making it a comfortable experience overall. A solid spot - I do wish the seafood had more flavor depth.

The food here was so good! I was actually surprised. I had Big Catch and chose the black mussels, snow crabs & shrimp with head on. It also came with corn and red skin potatoes and let me tell you, the presentation and flavor were great. It can easily feed two so it's worth the price. The service was also good, the waitress catered to our needs and the ambiance was befitting. A nice seafood setting with brown paper laid on the table for the mess you'll make, the gloves, bucket and necessary bib for the carnage of seafood.

Ryan the bartender is amazing attentive and nice. They food nasty. I would never go back. He tried to accommodate but everything was salty and lacked taste. I ordered a salad with crab meat, I wanted to throw up. It was sweet and imitation crab with bread crumbs. The soup was salty and clunky and not because of crab meat but because of the base wasn't fully cooked. The ambiance is definitely family friendly and just running out place. I would be po if it was date night.
