Baltimore Coffee & Tea

Was up this way for work the other day, so I decided to pop in for a quick treat. I've seen Baltimore Coffee served at other cafes, but never been to one of their own locations. They had SO much coffee! Obviously that's their whole thing, but I just wasn't expecting what I walked into. I could not believe the number of bags of beans they had along the counter lining the entire wall. They had such creative names for all of the too! I wasn't expecting there to be so much going on once inside - it felt like there was so much to look at. There's also a gift shop-like display out in the middle of the waiting area with little goodies you can purchase and take home, like granola or coffee mugs. I ordered an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese and a salted caramel latte. I wasn't blown away by either of them. I liked the cream cheese on the bagel - the veggies were chopped in bigger pieces so they gave a nice crunch. I wanted to love the latte, but I just didn't get much of the salted caramel flavor at all. They have so many different drink options, so I'd definitely like to go back and give them another shot. I really feel like I need a second trip just to truly take it all in!

What a gem! I see this place all the time when I'm running errands in Timonium and finally had some time to stop in. I ended up going the next weekend as well. Here's what I've had:Iced Creme Brulee - which is flavored with vanilla and caramel. This was my favorite drink so far. I don't love my coffee to be too sweet but I like some flavor and I like it creamy. 10/10 Iced Salted Caramel - which is flavored with chocolate and caramel sea salt. I enjoyed this one but I felt like it lacked a little in flavor. 7/10Iced Latte with whole milk - Classic, just what you would expectPoppyseed and almond muffin - a little dry 6/10. My toddler would give it a 10 though, he couldn't get enoughToasted Six Grain Bagel with Butter - IDK WHY but this bagel spoke to me. It was wonderful, especially for $2.15Toasted Asiago Cheese Bagel with Butter - Again, loved itBag of whole bean Kenya AA - Just made a pour over with this today. It was great but nothing noteworthy. Prices are super reasonable. The staff here are all really helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

Awesome place. Though ironically I'm not a coffee fan. A buddy of mine and I were rock climbing at the gym just down the road and he wanted to come here for lunch after. Great food. Great and really polite service. I got the turkey brie panini. Was delicious. But no coffee for me. They also have a pretty large area for selling coffees, teas, soaps, honeys, and lots of chachkes. Didn't really look but will next time.Nice quiet place. Will definitely try it again sometime.

I had the starry night iced latte which was English toffee, hazelnut and chocolate and it was delicious! The shop is so decorative and festive and it seems divine! It seems it was pretty busy so it took a little bit of time to get my coffee but it was well deserved. Will definitely try this place again

Great place! Coffee is excellent, lots to look at & buy. Seating could be cozier, but it doesn't take away from such an amazing place!

Love it!Great Coffee spot.Glad I found it.I order the standard Cafe Au Lait, and try their different coffees, which they roast themselves. I also buy half a pound of beans (different kinds) to bring home to Connecticut. The coffee is smooth, taste and the aroma you smell in the place is amazing. Love the fact that I smell like a roasted coffee bean as I leave. Their food is good as well. This is the spot you don't want to miss when you visit.

This is such a nice place for meeting a friend and having a coffee, and a light snack or meal. They also have a fabulous selection of teas or coffee -you name it and they have it.I use to find lot's of novelty gifts as well. They have gotten away from that but I surely will be going back

I've been coming here for 18 years. Hasn't changed much since then but why change if it's still going strong and has a good loyal following. I love all the flavors of coffee here. At any given time there is a plethora of choices if you want beans or ground to go. They also have a great variety of decaffeinated coffee. Everyday they have different choices for their daily coffees. They switch them up, but have a few that are recurring ones. I personally find their coffee on the weak side, even the darker roasts. I'm not saying they don't taste great, I sometimes prefer a strong full body flavor coffee and I don't feel like I get this here. But I do enjoy their coffee, I just tend to drink it black or put very little creamer. As for food, I usually stick with the bagels here. Soft, fresh and have a good crunch to them. Get it toasted with butter AND peanut butter (this is a must! And so good) goes perfect with a cup of coffee while sitting and chatting with friends. They do have lunch sandwiches and other drink options on the menu. They also have a incredible amount of teas. If you are searching for one to try, I'm sure it's there. It's like the Great Wall of tea. They also have cute unique gifts as well. The people working here are always friendly and tend to quickly and efficiently move people through the line.

I ordered a build my own sandwich. It was not bad, but also did not stand out to me. I do love the wonderful coffee aroma! Ambiance is great. Service is mediocre.

Maybe this is a hidden gem or maybe I'm just late to the party. Either way, this is a cozy spot for lunch and breakfast. It reminded me a bit of a coffee shop from your favorite small-town rom-com. I loved walking around and looking at all of their products while waiting for my smoothie. I ordered the Wildberry smoothie, which tasted a bit like apple juice, but it was good. The chocolate croissant was good as well. I didn't realize I would be getting the one directly out of the case which sometimes I can be weird about just because it wasn't really covered. There were so many options for coffee and tea, so next time I'll definitely take my pick from one of those.
