Tried this relatively new restaurant last night. Upon waking in, we were greeted by 3 hostesses that were nicely dressed, as one would expect from a higher-end eating establishment. They have several eating areas, maximizing their space and views of the bay. The 1st space was in the front of the restaurant--This space had a curtain to divide the space to allow for more/less patrons and for a possible semi private party. This front room felt like a diner, as did the wait staff's uniform. Moving to the back of the restaurant, there was a large bar with high top seating and tables, a view of the bay, and a nice little lounge area with a fireplace. They continued the coastal feel with 2 outdoor areas, one in front of the bar room and another above the bar room. Each had sails for shading and allowed for more diners. Now the food....I started off with a cocktail, their watermelon sugar. Nice and strong and akin to Brazil's national drink, Caprihina. Next we had raw oysters and watermelon panzanella. Oysters were large and delicious and the seared lemon added a nice smokey citrus touch. If you're going to have a dish with watermelon in the title, the watermelon in the watermelon oanzanella should be riper and more of it (at least, that's my opinion). As for entrées, we had the eggplant bolognese and the mushroom pizza. The pasta for the bolognese was cooked perfectly and the topping was delicious. The pizza had a great crust and was good, but my husband felt they over dressed it with truffle oil. We were too full for dessert. Service was really good, from our waitress, speed of food getting to our table, and food nice and hot.
