What a cool place! I always heard about B-Side from others since it's one of the more novelty speakeasies in the city however, I often heard mixed reviews about the cocktails. I recently gave it a try because I heard they had redone the menu and had some new bartending staff. I was really pleased with the experience and thought the drinks tasted delicious. Whatever qualms people had about the cocktails before seemed to have been solved by whoever took over the bar and menu more recently. The whole idea is awesome too. If you want to impress someone who is visiting, you should definitely take them here. You enter through a secret door that only opens when you insert a special coin into the jukebox. It's extremely cool, I must say. Seating is limited so do your best to make a reservation or come during off hours. I will definitely be back soon!

So, it in the basement of a hotel and you have to press a button on a juke box to come in. it was t a lot of seating, but it wasn't very crowded and we were able to get a table very easily. This is a sure cute spot for an after dinner date drinks, it was romantic, dark, and had a a ing music. The drinks we ordered were around $18 a drink and were good. they weren't overly sweet and had a nice balance of flavors. The food was just ok. We got the waygu burgers and there were very bland and dry. the fries were good and we received a huge portion. The pita bread side was toasted well. The seating was tight for a table of 6.

I've been here several times. It's always so fun! perfect place for a first date or a night cap! The snacks are pretty good and if it's not too busy the service is good too! Enjoy!

I did not have a very pleasant experience unfortunately at B-Side Cocktail Lounge. While I did enjoy the Pink Trees cocktail ($18) that I ordered, I felt as though the Wagyu Sliders (3 for $28) were completely dry and under seasoned. That was a huge disappointment for me. The other issue I had was that it took forever for the server to come back to us and there were multiple times where I asked for a refill on my water and was not attended to. With 20% gratuity already added, I had hoped to get better service at the very least.

I love a good speakeasy or speakeasy vibe. Was in the neighborhood with a friend and decided to drop in and check it out. We found parking on the next block and enter Hotel Revival's door and headed towards the jukebox. It took a second but we realized we needed to drop a coin in the jukebox to access the bar. Like magic the door opened and we were inside. Thankfully, we arrived at the perfect time between sets of reservations and got the last table available. It's cute and a smidge swanky. Think old school R&B with boozy cocktails with a sexy vibe. Enjoyed it and the drinks so much, I went back a few weeks later. That time I made a reservation because the place is also tiny. Likely accommodates a total of 25 people at once. It's the perfect date spot!

B side has now moved up to the number 3 spot for speakeasies in Baltimore for me.Once I dropped the coin and the door opens you just know it's a good time. Please make an RSVP!The staff is nice and attentive. The drinks are crafted to perfection. I did not have food but they do have a small bites menu. The vibe is really cozy, dim lit and also good music.A must visit.

I checked into this speakeasy on a weeknight and was impressed by the great atmosphere. Who knew this was hiding out in Hotel Revival. Once you pop the coin into the jukebox, you're treated to great music, ambiance, and an eclectic drink selection. The bartenders are attentive and know their way around a cocktail. If you don't see a drink you like on the ample menu, they'll whip up something to suit your tastes. My quibbles: the seats look more comfortable than they actually are and the drinks are certainly on the more expensive side of the spectrum. I recommend if you're looking for a place to chat over drinks in midtown.

Cool concept that executed well: not just the speakeasy entry, interior feels comfortable and cozy, menu design was very nice.We had Red Clay & Time, both felt whatever, not really composed well. Time tasted like old bay juice somehow.$19 for a cocktail seems pretty high for Baltimore?
