I just stopped in for a piece of chocolate cake but, all they had was a mini Bundt cake for $8.32. The line was pretty short and service was pleasant. I was in and out. I have to say that I opened the bag in the car. Now what I didn't like is that the cake was not wrapped. It was just placed inside of a brown paper bag. That was a turn off. Once I got past that I took a bite and I must say it was just what I was looking for nice and rich. I would definitely be willing to return only hoping that in the future they either put the cake in a container or at least wrap it in something.

My uncle brought me two of their muffins to-go - banana nut and carrot. The carrot one was very moist. I'm not a big cream cheese fan, but there was such a small amount that it wasn't overpowering in the carrot muffin. Banana nut was good too. Muffins were a big size that these definitely were enough for two breakfast portions.

Despite the problems I mentioned earlier, Mari is AWESOME always! She delivers excellent customer service with a brilliant smile and professionalism! Also, "Ashley" (a newer barista) made my latte to my liking two days in a row this week so I am going to be once again patronizing Atwaters (Belvedere Square and Catonsville) but on a day by day basis and will post an updated review of product and service quality again in a week or so. I think the culprit in terms of the recent quality issues are the new barista training sessions given by subpar instructors who themselves do not know how a good coffee is brewed! Watered down lattes and weak coffee! YUCK!If it ain't broke, DON'T fix it and before the changes, it wasn't! The loss in consistency and quality at Atwaters must be blamed on a change in the process (if not in the ingredients chosen) that should never have been instituted! Please reinstitute the old much BETTER, more qualitative, more customer-mindful brewing methods and mindsets that were in place during the last fifteen years of my once faithful long-time patronage !

Initially I wanted to give two stars, but I'll admit I do like the Strawberry lemonade. Very on the sweet side but is refreshing and has good flavor. The service is usually quick and friendly. Which is very nice. But let's talk food. First it is very expensive for deli sandwiches. I don't mind paying for a good sandwich yet, not even a poorly made, barely any cheese and one piece of bacon for a "cheddar and bacon grilled cheese" is not acceptable especially at $10.95. I've had other sandwiches as well, which were average nothing special about them, yet still very pricey. The parking is easy. And it is in a cool market ambiance.

The staff was very friendly. The line moved fast. I love the vegan golden milk latte. Ginger tumeric and spices will always be my go to hot drink. The omelette was good. It needed salt and pepper but once added it was very good. You could taste the fresh eggs and vegetables in it. You order your food at the register and they bring it to your table. You then take your plates and silverware to a busting table if you'd like. There is a gentleman that comes around and cleans the tables. I enjoy homey casual spots like Atwaters. The Almond Shortbread cookies are amazing!!! Definitely take some home.

I loveeee me some Atwater's and their Belvedere location is spacious and has quite a bit of outdoor seating. I tend to order over the phone for pick up and they're always polite and quick which is perfect for on the go! Just wish they would branch out into the white marsh area :)

** 5 Year Review Update **5 Year Review... this place has definitely went from an awesome 4 Star Establishment to a fantastic 5 Star. I absolutely love everything about this place!I love calling in my phone order and my order being ready asap, I love walking in and ordering and picking up within 10 minutes, I love the seasonal beverages, soups and desserts... I'm not done... I love the awesomely friendly and consistent staff, quality food and packaging items used and more!!If anyone reading this hasn't visited yet, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR !!Oh, and join their in house club. Service was great and the place is very cute. The first sandwich i got was very dry and really not good (chickpea salad or something like that). I went back and got the tomato and egg sandwich and it was WAY better. Overall pretty good though.
