Armadillos Restaurant

My friends and stopped in Dillo's after the football game for a few drinks and apps and it was a great spot to hangout and watch the afternoon football games.The bartenders were great bringing us beverages at our table away from the bar and our food came out shockingly fast. Both mozzarella sticks and fried pickles were good! The dipping sauce that came with the pickles was great. Cool little spot to hangout!

We went to Dillos for happy hour and the deals were awesome. Half off the menu and drinks were cheap and good. The orange crush was delicious but the flatbreads were a little disappointing. It sounded good but was way too greasy and oily, neither of us could finish it. The cheese was oily on top of the pesto being naturally oily. It made my stomach upset. The nightlife on the weekends are pretty popular at Dillos, with a bar on bottom and a mini dance floor/DJ up top. They take away all the tables to make room for the crowd that comes in.

First time trying this place today and it was pretty good. We ordered the Truffle Lamb Cheese Steak and got it on top of fries instead of bread, plus mac and beer cheese with bacon and the Taphouse Chili. I can't eat bread and love getting cheese steaks so on top of fries is the next best thing. Also, truffle, lamb and arugula are three of my favorite things. It did not disappoint. However, I do wish the cheese sauce wasn't as thick. The fries were cooked perfectly and the shaved lamb was delicious. My boyfriend had the chili and mac and cheese. He said the chili was delicious but the Mac and cheese tasted a little weird to him. We will definitely give this place another try. Looking to try the spicy jalapeno cheese steak next.

My husband and I decided to try Armadillos for the first time. Our waitress was rude and was not attentive . I understand being somewhat busy but only checking on a table a couple times within an hour isn't acceptable. Also very overpriced and the food wasn't good. Would not recommend .

The security/ bouncers are terrible and degrading, I've never been so disrespected. I will never be back and I would never recommend this place

I usually enjoy going to Armadillos but had a terrible experience that makes me never want to go back. First of all, my friend started a tab (turned in his credit card to start one) and then when he closed it the bartender, PJ, didn't give him a receipt (he paid in cash) or his card back. Right when we left the restaurant we realized he didn't have his card so we went back. After telling PJ, he started getting angry and then blaming my friend for the whole incident which in the end was actually his fault. Anyway, we left to watch fireworks as it was Fourth of July and then came back to the restaurant after the fireworks were done (was a close bar and have usually had good experiences). After that the service was fine and the music was great but another problem occurred as we were paying our second tab and leaving. There were drinks charged to our tab that we didn't buy so we asked PJ about them. Immediately he started getting angry (probably assumed we were lying) instead of listening to us. I was trying to neutralize the situation and explained but then he yelled at me and said, "fucking leave you bitch." I asked his name and he refused to give it to me. Disrespecting a woman like that who wasn't even trying to argue in any way is unacceptable behavior. I also brought a waterbottle that I was keeping an eye on all night and drinking out of that was stolen. I am pretty sure an employee took it because no one else was as close to my stuff as I was all night and some of the workers cleaning up cups and trash. When I called about it, they didn't even ask any questions and cut me off saying they didn't have it before I was even done asking about it on the phone.Great location, great music, but some of the employees are not that great.

First downtown Annapolis visit and we decided to dine outside at Armadillos with my wife and kids. Worst restaurant experience ever. Our waitress was rude and horribly inattentive, she visited our table only a couple times and it was only to do her job by getting our order and bringing our check. Food was okay.

If you're looking for a place to go out at night this is NOT IT! Go to dock street for a much better time. My friend was intoxicated and I took her to the bathroom and they kicked me out for having more than 1 person in the bathroom at one time when she literally could not walk through the door by herself. If you are a woman please be careful here and consider a different bar. Whatever you do DO NOT GO TO ARMADILLOS ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A WOMAN!!!

Not a drop of alcohol in my vodka soda. $10. Boyfriend even got a double and didn't taste. Don't waste your money
