This is the Korean restaurant located inside of H Mart in Ellicott city. The staff here are super friendly and really helpful. Their menu is really quite extensive. I had their soft tofu stew the other day and it was really delicious and hearty. They also have a choice of either white rice or a purple grain rice. It's like a cozy, not very fancy casual eatery with good food. They will also give you extra kimchi if you ask for it. For $14 it's a decent hearty meal. I do think their noodles like jjanangmeong and jjamoong are quite good. It's been a while since I had them, but the stew is super solid. You can also eat the other prepared foods hmart sells here.

Very generous portion sizes. I enjoyed my jajangmyun and my uncle liked his galbi. They charge for carry out boxes so have correct change. They won't charge for a single box and I didn't have small change. The area isn't suitable for a walker or wheelchair. Friendly service. They're always nicer when you speak to them in Korean. The place was very busy so the food took about a half hour to come. Not bad for fresh food.

At Areum inside H-Mart. On a cold windy day Budae Jigae (Korean spicy ham stew) and SulLungTang (beef broth noodles) totally hit the spot. Massive portions here too. And definitely not Montgomery county prices. Service was friendly and fast. Place was packed with older Koreans - which is a sign the place is legit. Seating looks kinda tight but people eat fast and get up to make room. Food court style grab your own water, condiments and drinks.

This snackbar is the same owner as Be Se To in Catonsville. The food is excellent and the quality hasn't changed in twenty years. Galbi, kimchi jiggae, jjampong...everything is delicious! So happy that they have a location that is closer to us now!

Just opened in H Mart, replacing the old diner in the same location. Ordered Jjamppong and one of the muscles doesn't taste fresh. The broth is on the salty side. Food is in big portion but be aware that they charge 1 dollar for the to-go container.
