An Die Musik is one of those special Baltimore spots. It's a small music venue in rowhome in Mount Vernon (just a few blocks south of the Washington Monument). You can enter on the main level and then they'll let you upstairs to the room where the concerts take place. There's small bar up there, where they sell wine, beer, and other concessions, and a bathroom as well. (You do have to go up a pretty steep staircase to get to the concert room, since the building is a historic rowhome!) I attended for the first time last weekend for the Baltimore Klezmer Orchestra's annual Hanukkah concert and had a great time. The concert room is small (around 75 seats), so very intimate. They focus on lesser known artists, international artists, and artists of varied musical genres, so you have the opportunity to hear some interesting music at An Die Musik! It's a special place, and I'm looking forward to returning sometime soon!

Rated among the best Jazz clubs in the US (Jazz Times), this Baltimore sleeper of a listening room hosts some premier music. Its in an old nondescript brownstone in Mount Vernon. Its just a few blocks south of the monument. They have beer and wine for sale as you enter after climbing the stairs. The room holds about 75 and it has good sound and odd chairs. You can also see some good classical and Americans here too...but Jazz is wow. Tips. Go to the first show and sometimes will late you stay through the 2nd too. DONT go to the second as sometimes the band wont play a full 2nd set.Last...eat at Sotto Sopra next door!!! Its terrific.

Best jazz club AND rated as one of the best in Jazz Times! This place is a hidden gem and perfect for date night. There is an intimate music venue on the top floor, an eclectic record store on the bottom floor, and refreshments ~$5 for a glass of wine or a bottle of beer. What more could you want?Hint: Cheaper advanced tickets and student discounts can be purchased online.

We had a great time! If you are looking for a laid back, good music, reasonably priced drinks, and good people, this could be your spot. The wine is $5 per glass and they had a few beers to choose from. Major plus: if you arrive when they open around 5:30, they'll provide you a coupon to local restaurants with your ticket! Some peoples reviews included that they weren't thrilled with the seats our atmosphere... i thought it was quaint and comfy! And for a $13 you get great music! What a great night out!

There's many hidden gems in Baltimore, and I would absolutely say this jazz club classifies as one of them! Super cozy and intimate atmosphere - the chairs are the same ones you might curl up on for a rainy day inside, and the low podium gives you a one of a kind experience listening to the musicians. I loved that despite the fact that I was at a concert, I felt as comfortable as if I were back at my own home. 100000% recommend this place to any jazz enthusiast!Tickets are cheap, $10 for students and $15 for general admission.Pro tip - get a discounted meal by getting a voucher from the club before/after the performance. They have discounts for many restaurants nearby!

My wife surprise me at the last minute by telling me that we were going to a free fall event especially on a Sunday. She knows Sunday is football day for me.However I went anyway not knowing what we were going to see or listen to. I was pleasantly surprised when I realized we were going to listen to Phil Ravita jazz group. Even though we were fifteen minutes late. I really enjoy listening to the sound of jazz any day of the week. I really enjoyed the band especially the drummer because he was so into his music. Even though this was my first time listening to there music. I will definitely be listening to more of there music.

The best intimate music venue in town. ADML brings the best diverse talent from around the globe and locally to tantalize. Jazz and classical are specialties. Pricing very fair and cheaper if tickets bought in advance online.

Such an awesome experience. Now, prepare yourself...this isn't a traditional concert venue. But there is something about this place that just oozes charm. You won't get the red carpet treatment, but it's better that way. It's more like going to someone's house for a private concert than anything else. All in all, a hidden gem of Baltimore. And so inexpensive! On top of it all, you can get a voucher for between 10-20% off specific restaurants within walking distance and the website keeps a list of these partners. Parking garage is $3 with validation.

I have been here twice now, and love it! I live close by, and this is one of my new favorite spots to take guests, or go out for a relaxing evening. The two performances I attended were both excellent - definitely worth the $15! We took advantage of the dining discounts the second time we bought tickets. We went to the venue around 6, got a voucher for a discount at local restaurants they partner with, and were back in time for the 8:00 show. The chill atmosphere and great music was a perfect way to spend time with friends on a Friday night after a long work week!

I have walked passed this place a thousand times and wondered what was behind those big white doors. Thanks to Free Fall Baltimore I was able to experience the wonderful sound of Phil Ravita Jazz group. We was running late and had to find parking. So, surprised we were able to find close parking around the corner. We rushed in and climbed the stairs to the second floor to find the box-office. There, we ere greeted by friendly staff. Hate to admit this, we were half an hour late. I know boo boo! Thankfully we were admitted in and found seats. The seats were cozy but needs much tender loving care (yes I had to write that out). We you close your eyes, you feel like you have been transported away. This was my first Jazz concert but it won't be my last. I can see me returning soon.Looking for a relaxing date night out? This is the place.
