Fantastic. I grabbed a chicken cheesesteak sub with fries just the other day for lunch. It was phenomenal. Nice and hot, right out of the oven. Flavorful. And the fries were delicious. Yeah, just fries but really great. The staff --- I only saw one person who acted as host, waiter, bus, everything --- she was wonderful. Really polite and helpful.I am in the area on occasion and the small shop I am at orders pizzas from here. Why? Because they too are phenomenal.Just really happy with this place, and seems to have a very well-deserved great reputation. I'll definitely be back!!

It's a nice cozy spot. We were at a winery down the street and they suggested we try this place They have an outdoor patio that hosts private events. That space is nice with TVs and tables and such. The restaurant is a bar/restaurant. They have outdoor seating too. We ordered the jalapeño poppers. They have cream cheese filling. Really good! I had the low carb addict. It was good but I wish they would've added some veggies to it. It's essentially just marinara sauce with meatballs and cheese. Definitely a keto option. They do have a low carb/no gluten section in the menu. I thought that was cool. This entree comes with soup or salad I had the Greek salad and their dressing was to die for! My boyfriend had the penne pasta with shrimp. It had a creamy sauce and comes with two sides of bread along with a soup or salad. He chose the brócoli soup option. It's not creamy I wasn't a fan. But he said it wasn't bad. Overall, it was a good option if you're down this area. Seems like a local bar too they have the football game playing on Sunday's.

Visited this establishment as we were in search of something new, on a Thursday evening. Pulling into the parking lot, we were a little concerned as it appeared to be a remodeled home. Upon entering, the aesthetics although outdated, was clean and the aroma of Italian cuisine wafted through the air. As we were interested in happy hour, we were directed down the stairs. Both bartenders were extremely accommodating and provided the happy hour menu as well as the dinner menu. We ordered 2 drinks and 2 apps from the happy hour menu and 2 entrees to go. Although we haven't tried our to go meals, the appetizers were tasty and drinks although rail, were strong and refreshing. Didn't get a pic of my lemon drop as they didn't have my signature Appletini! We will certainly be back!

The pizza here is great!!! along with their cannolis! My family probably gets it 1-2x a month. Prices are good, the service is also great we always order it to-go and the front staff is usually younger kids that are very nice and courteous. The interior deco is a little out of date, but it's a small town Italian place, I'm not expecting to be transported to Tuscany.

Hand's down the best Italian in the area. Perfect balance between authentic Italian and Americanized Italian.On our first visit (was a super busy Saturday night) - the staff/management was very welcoming and got us seated immediately even though their phones were ringing off the hook and the line was going out the door for their takeout orders...which is a true sign of how good their food is.The layout of the restaurant is interesting to say the least; With plenty of room to fit all incoming parties. Two story high building with a bardownstairs and lots of seating both up and downstairs. Visually the décor is also very appealing...almost looks like the inside of a winery.The food was INSANELY GOOD. And the portion sizes were massive for the price. I have been eating leftovers for three days and every time I heat them up they are almost as good as the first day.I had the Chicken Parm Sub with Onion Rings (best onion rings I have ever had). Girlfriend got tortellini with meat sauce (which wasn't on the menu but the restaurant was easily able to compensate her request). And our other party member had the Chicken Parmesan (also the best I have ever had.) And for the table we split a large Margherita Pizza for $21 which was 16 inches but felt even bigger. The toppings were fresh AF, whatever cheeses they are blending to top their pizza - DELICIOUS...and their sauce...don't even get me started on that sauce...SWIMMING IN DELICIOUS GARLIC. Exactly how it should be done.We loved this place and we will be back time and time again. I have been spreading the word to any of my friends who haven't tried it.PS: I also love the location of Amante's. I grew up in a the middle of nowhere and this place is on a very scenic route. I live close to Baltimore but will gladly travel 20-30 minutes out to Sykesville/Eldersburg for this food. Love this place.

Great location, outdoor covered patio and sun deck. Nice outdoor space with corn hole and additional outdoor cash bar. The salads are tasty and very large. We have ordered online with minor omissions before. This time, with a large 5 person order plus 20% tip we got an "Amante" calzone instead of the veggie calzone we ordered. The Amante calzone has an unidentifiable meat that tastes like pepperonis with hot sauce. I called and was told I could order another veggie calzone. We don't know if the website glitched on our order or what happened. After supporting this restaurant for a long time our complaint was ignored. Whether you call your order to Amantes or order on the website, you really have no proof of what you ordered.
