Kicking off Black History Month with the Books and Bubbles Book Club at the perfect Black-owned restaurant for a Cheers-style bar experience! Whether you're looking for a mix-and-mingle work event, a night out with friends or family, or even a low-key date, All Set delivers. From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly, attentive, and personable--from the hostess station to the bar and everyone in between. A special shoutout to Genea, who made our experience truly memorable! If you visit soon, you can take advantage of Restaurant Week, the all-day happy hour in the bar area, or the regular everyday menu--all of which offer fantastic options. And speaking of the menu, the crab cake and smoked wings are absolute must-tries!The food is delicious, the prices are fair, and the atmosphere is a whole vibe. This place is a must-visit--try it out and let me know what you think!

I was here for a birthday Happy Hour. The decor is cool and kind of intimate with the low dark lights. The place is not big at all and tend to get crowded due to the happy hour being 5pm-close. -The wings were not good at all. They were so huge and bland but was salty on the top (If that makes sense) lol... -The calamari were good.- I ordered oysters but never received it, but my brother said his oysters were good.- kale salad was delicious. I opt out of the kale and replaced it with arugula (The bomb) - Snapper and rice were delicious I always expect a great tasting margarita during happy hour and never get it lol. Taste liked juice. I would go back to try it again. The 3 star was because it was okay...

If you find yourself craving for good food and minimal human interaction, may I suggest all set on New Year's Eve? It's the perfect spot if you're into the exclusive empty restaurant vibe.I must say our waiter was exceptional possibly because we were his only patrons for most of the night. If friendliness was a dish she'd be the star of the menu. Now speaking of the menu, we were ready for some Branzino as advertised only to be served rockfish instead. It's like showing up for a date with Chris Hemsworth and getting his lesser-known cousin. His brother have been good as well. But hey, at least it wasn't a catfish, lol. The saving grace of the evening? The fries oh the fries, crispy, golden, and perfect and a little thick. Would I go back? Maybe next, time I'll check if the New Year's Eve menu is real or just a fish tale.

I have been coming to All Set for some time and it is always a great time. My most recent Saturday evening visit exceeded every expectation and made for an awesome night. Not only were the drinks and food great, Oz provided us with exceptional service. Even with a large party and an event going on, he was very attentive and made sure to check on us. I enjoyed everything I had with my favorites being the calamari, cornbread and the salted caramel gelato. I always enjoy a Pretty in Pink but the Coming in Hot might be a new favorite. If you are looking for great service, yummy food and a great selection of drinks, All Set will not disappoint.

Love their all day happy hour on Mondays. Enjoy the shrimp cocktail, calamari, and their ceaser. Some cocktails are $7, which is a great HH deal in my opinion. The happy hour starts at 3Pm so when I first arrived around 3 it was quite empty but the ambiance is casual and the space gets a little more crowded with time, overall a solid spot for cheap/ reasonable happy hour food and drinks in downtown silver spring

UPDATE:The manager reached out regarding my review (which was appreciated) but only to make an offer and then ghost. This explains the decline in service at ALLSET. Welp, it was good while it lasted.

I visited All Set with a large group on a Saturday night and I am pleased to report that we all enjoyed the visit a lot.We were seated a few minutes before happy hour ended (normally daily from 3-6, all night Monday) and ordered a few drinks. The happy hour menu says its only for the bar area, but our waiter invited us to order from it anyway. This was a pleasant surprise and a good way to kickoff the meal. I tried the Basil Gin Rickey ($9) and Whiskey Sour ($8) and both were very good. For appetizers, we had the 1/2 lb Fried Shrimp ($19, 8 pieces), Sriracha Cheddar Biscuits ($14, four biscuits), and Chickpea Fries ($14, 9 large fries). All of the apps were delicious. The shrimp were large, had no shells on them, had a very nice, crispy fry, and a little seasoning so the dipping sauce and lemon wasn't necessary. The biscuits were large and had a bit of a spicy kick. We liked the berry sauce that came with them. I was wary of the chickpea fries but they were also great -- crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and came with two dipping sauces. The fries were a bit similar to the biscuits in that they were both kind of bready, so I probably wouldn't get them together again, but they were both worthwhile. Entrees were also a hit. I tried the Lobster Roll ($34 w/ fries) and Texas Brisket ($34, 1/2 lb served with carrots and mashed potatoes). The lobster roll was a good size and had noticeable chunks of claw meat (the best) along with crispy, lightly seasoned fries. The brisket was also tasty, although a bit overshadowed by the sauce, carrots, and potatoes. I would have preferred the brisket to stand on its own a bit more to really appreciate it. The "Bleu Cheese Mashed Potatoes" didn't particularly taste like blue cheese to me, which was just fine as someone who hates it. Others at the table got entrees like the Fish and Chips ($25) and Branzino ($41, whole fish) which also got high marks. Our waiter was good and very friendly. The restaurant was lively but not packed. It was a little noisy and nearly impossible to talk down the length of the table, which was ok but not ideal. The happy hour menu is solid with both food and drink at good prices. But the regular drink menu is too expensive, especially the beer and cocktails. The beer menu is pretty lame with only two local beers (both Atlas) and charging $8 for Corona or $9.5 for Atlas is robbery. Cocktails are also too high at $15. Wine is $12-$13 a glass and I would like to see cocktails at that price point.

First off, I thought this place would be too packed for us to sit, but they found a spot for us without reservations. I really appreciated the all night happy hour and the waiter that was helping us was super friendly and helpful with ordering. The food was amazing and I highly recommend the spot if you're ever in Silver Spring!

**Service:**I visited All Set Seafood with two friends, and despite the website suggesting a reservation, we walked in without any issues. I live nearby and have noticed it's rarely more than 50% full, so walking in should generally be fine. We were seated quickly and attended to promptly. Our server was a bit hands-off, not checking on us much during the meal, but the other waitstaff frequently offered us water, which was appreciated.**Taste:**The menu is somewhat limited but offers everything you might need for a satisfying seafood meal. We initially wanted mussels, but they were out, so we started with oysters instead. They were fresh and paired well with the sauces provided. For the main course, we ordered the lobster roll with sweet potato fries, Pan Seared Trout Crab Meunière, and the seafood pasta. All the dishes came out within 10 minutes and were flavorful with manageable portions. The prices are reasonable for seafood, though it's not the cheapest option.**Ambiance:**All Set Seafood has a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, making it a great spot for a casual meal with friends. The restaurant is not usually crowded, so it's easy to enjoy a meal without feeling rushed or cramped. The environment is perfect for those who want a low-key dining experience with quality seafood.**Recommendation:**Overall, All Set Seafood is a solid choice for a seafood meal with friends. The food is tasty, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is laid-back. While the service could be a bit more attentive, the quality of the food and drinks makes up for it. I've already returned with a friend, so it's definitely worth checking out if you're in the mood for seafood.
