At ate here twice. One night ordering the burger and the next order of wings and appetizer. The burger was great and tasted amazing. The chef cooked my burger medium just how I like it. The wings were ok but can't complain about them because they hit the spot. I prefer grilled over fried wings and these were fried and tossed in excessive sauce.

Only come here if it's your last resort. You can survive but the food and service are likely better at any nearby option.

I am staying at the Hilton Doubletree and had Room Service from Alizee and it was amazing! I had the Veggie Quesadilla, the Pasta Alfredo (couldn't finish it was enough for two!) and the Garden Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette! So fresh and delicious! Arrived to my room hot and faster than they'd promised. The staff here are so courteous and friendly. I definitely recommend Alizee whether staying at the Hilton or just visiting the area!

Convenient with a menu that delivers well above what I typically expect from a hotel restaurant. Second time here while in the area for work. Visit number one I shared the Bacon & Deviled Egg appetizer with my colleague, we were both blown away. The flavor of the bacon was perfect and accentuates the flavor and spicing to the deviled eggs! For entree both visits I had the Shrimp and Grits. It was amazing the first visit so a reprise was in order. The andouille compliments the shrimp perfectly and, while not in New Orleans, captures some of the creole charm and flavor. The cheesy grits are rich so I've found the meal overall to be quite filling. My colleague tried one of the unique burger offerings and sang its praises so I may try that on a future visit.Service in general can be a little spotty. First visit we felt like we were frequently forgotten and ended up having to get the bartender to close out our tab. Second visit the service was significantly better. Drinks refilled and warm bread brought out to start upon ordering. Pricing is to be expected from a hotel restaurant but not unreasonable given portions. Worth a visit if you find yourself in the area!

I needed a place to spend time while feeling a bit trapped by the surrounding sketchy neighborhoods, so I asked to sit at the closed bar for awhile until the restaurant opened rather than sit alone in my hotel room.I ordered a rye whiskey, up, which was served in a martini glass for some reason. I'd have preferred if it had been served like a traditional whiskey. Guessing it's because I'm female? After working for awhile, I ordered the half chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. The chicken was pretty dry. I'm guessing that they make it all early and keep it warm to serve for room service throughout the day. The potatoes were fine, but the beans had a maple flavor I didn't enjoy. It filled me up for the night, so I guess it did the job, but for $19 I've had better chicken at Chick-fil-A.This hotel and restaurant was a pretty forgettable experience. I had higher expectations for the location.

Came here for Bmore winter restaurant week. The location is right in the heart of Johns Jopk6ins territory. We parked in the Inn at Collinaide's underground garage. The restaurant was located inside. We were greeted by a pleasant host and quickly seated. Our server came, who was pleasant and very accommodating, and quickly took our orders: The prix-fix dinner (we chose Md crab bisque and the Chicken Chesapeake stuffed with crab meat and covered with a cream in addition to the flourless chocolate cake). Our meal started off with a nice, fresh house salad with mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, red onions, shredded carrots and a long slice of cucumber wrapped around its base. It was accompanied by a balsamic vinaigrette. Next was the MD crab bisque. It was served with saltine crackers. The soup arrived warm and it was okay with noticable bits of crab, but was a tad bit salty. Our main course, Chicken Chesapeake arrived. The plate and contents, crisp French green beans, smashed potatoes along with a chicken breast stuffed with crab and spinach topped with a cream sauce (I believed it was the bisque) came out hot and it was tasty. We ended our meal with the flourless chocolate cake with a side of whipped cream topped strawberries. The cake was super rich, more like fudge, and although it was good, I couldn't indulge myself in more than half of the small round cake. Our parking was validated by the restaurant manager, who was pleasant. All in all, a decent meal for the $25 price.

I was on the fence scoring this place s 3 or 4, but since my entree was the worst part I went with a 3.Started with the shrimp and crab bisque. It was the best part of the meal with a tomato base and chuck full of crab and shrimp. So thick my spoon could almost stand up in the bowl. Highly recommended! For an entree I had a ceased salad with crab cake. The lettuce was so fresh and I believe the dressing was homemade as it was very tasty. Then there was the crab cake.... it was very lumpy and mostly crab, but lacked any flavor what's so all. I found myself putting salt and pepper on it and then ended up just leaving half of it on my plate. I wasn't served with any lemon which may have helped. The remoulade sauce that came with it also lacked any flavor.Hopefully it was just an off night. I would try them again, but not run right back before other favorite staples in the neighborhood. Happy eating!

I have had multiple meals at Alizee, the food is ALWAYS INCREDIBLE and the service is GREAT. I highly recommend the crabcakes with the homemade fresh cut fries, they remind me of the fries I get down the Boardwalk. Did I forget to mention the awesome ice cream cookie for dessert, yum!!!!!!

My wife and I, along with our daughter who has some pretty serious food allergies (including celiac), just stayed at the Colonnade for two nights, and had breakfast at Alizee both mornings. Because of her allergies, when travelling, our daughter very often has to eat meals that are very basic, with little or no spice or sauce, or from a very restricted gluten-free, dairy-free menu selection. When she told our server about her allergies, chef Ricky Ricardo (yes, that's his name!) came out to speak with her, to find out what she would like, and what ingredients needed to be avoided. (Ricky was clearly knowledgeable and well-versed about food allergies.) When our meals arrived, instead of a severely stripped-down version of breakfast, our daughter received the same hearty, tasty meal we got, just without anything that could have caused her harm. The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic. Thank you, Ricky and team!

Amazing service. Food was fantastic. The grilled octopus and fish was heavenly. A nice charcoal on the octopus yet the meat inside is still tender and soft. Fish, oh my, crispy yet still silky on the inside. I came in at 10 pm and still manage to get amazing service (I called 5 ahead of time).
