I ordered my food and took it home.... while I was eating it I saw a little black thing in my rice at first I thought it was a little piece of meat but I took a good look at it again and saw legs, and noticed it was a bug. I ALMOST THREW UP! I don't know what kinda bug it was but I immediately stop eating. I was very disappointed and discussed because my favorite thing to order at this restaurant was their rice and I would have never thought I would ever find something like this in my food. This is going to be my family, friends as well as my self last time ordering here. You guys need to start paying attention to either the food you guys prepare or the appliances you guys prepared your food in.

Best Nigerian place to go to, the Egusi & Obono soups are my two favorites. Just remember to tell them mild spices if you dont do spicy. But if you do spicy, have at it. The owner is super kind and makes sure you're taken care of. Definitely a go to place when I'm in Maryland again. Will be back soon.

We met the owner in the neighborhood and he was so kind that we decided to stop by his restaurant. I am SO glad we did. From the outside, you could miss the place but once inside we saw two folks picking up catering orders. I now see why. The service was impeccable. The fish was enormous and wonderfully seasoned. We were asked about "our relationship to spice" and when we hesitated he offered to put the spicy sauce on the side (good move since it was really hot to me, kind of hot to my husband). The fish was so good that my husband barely touched the plantain and that's one of his favorite foods! We had jolof rice and as well which was pretty good (it doesn't compare to the amazing fish). We will certainly be back and we recommend you stop by soon.

The wait was insane. The stew was undercooked and had a bad aftertaste. The plantain was dried out. The jollof rice was okay. The chicken was seasoned well. I can say for sure we won't be back.

Best nigerian and ethnic food in the maryland area, food was very true to taste and left both of us very full and satisfied. Will be returning back for the delicious egusi soup! Agama is the best!

I ordered egusi with pounded yam from here through door dash on 8/28/21. The food was very tasty up until I found a long string of hair in my food. Unfortunately I will not order from here again.

Good food but Agama himself talks too much and he attacks you on whatever you say. So I went here to eat Oha soup, I had called In before going to eat the food with excitement that I finally found a place to eat Oha soup. On getting there, I met Agama at the counter, I told him wanted to eat, he said he doesn't think they have the Oha soup I asked for, I then told him that I called before driving to his restaurant, so he said was I the lady who called, I said yes, so he said I should sit and he will get me my food. So he brought the food, with a bowl of water, then I asked if they have a washing hand sink so that I can go wash my hands there, that he doesn't have to hold a bowl for me to wash my hands, Agama fled up and said where are we hearing all these rumor from, how can he not have a toilet, that there's a sink in the toilet, he started saying all sorts of things, I was now trying to explain myself that I didn't mean to insult him or say any mean words to him. Then he started ranting that do I know how many houses he had built with the money from the restaurant, then I'm like what's my Business with the house you've built and the money you making from your shop. Then I got mad and told him to wait a minute, you said you have a toilet, I want to eat a local food with my hands, you want me to go wash my hands in the toilet and come out to eat the food so that I can get sick or what, you should have a sink on the floor where people eat. I was just pissed off. Another thing I noticed was that, he didn't do that to just me, he did it to other customers too. So if you are going there, it's either you take out or you don't just talk to him. Just eat and leave and have it at the back of your mind that he will bring a bowl of water for you to wash you hands.
