Acme Bar & Grill

For what it's worth (a bar, duh!) Acme Bar & Grill has solid bar food with a very laid back vibe. My friends and I went about fifteen minutes and couldn't decide what to order (so we ordered a ton, see photos). What were the showstoppers: wings, shrimp, pizza, quesadillas and crab balls. The wings are super crispy (fried hard) and flavorful, the pizza is simple but satisfying, and the quesadillas are cheesy and filling. Perfect for a casual late night bar meal, especially if you're craving wings!I'd return again especially for the wings!

Service was nice but management was terrible. General manager made a disparaging comment about me and I responded and he had me cash out. Terrible establishment. Stay away.

I visited Acme for a friend's birthday. We did a little bar hopping and started off here. For starters, this place is loud on the weekend so if that's your thing, you're in for a good time. I ended up getting the cheesesteak egg rolls which were just okay. I would've liked a little more cheese in them and a different dipping sauce besides marinara. The service was attentive despite how busy it was. After my friend and I finished our appetizers and drinks, we left to meet up with friends at another spot. Overall, I just had an okay experience at Acme. I wouldn't be in a rush to return.

Dude at the bar berated me about not handing him my credit card (I did). After 5 mins of arguing he realized he was wrong and was still a dick (he kept trying to hand me someone else's card and insisting it was mine).I have been here before 2 other times and have had nothing but awful experiences. 3rd time's the charm. This place is nothing but a college bar. If you're younger than 23 don't even bother trying to come here.They also did last call and kicked everyone out 5 mins after my friend boughtt beers for everyone.Garbage place. Some locals may like it but if you're a traveler please don't.Not to mention the amount of coke that people were doing in the upstairs bathroom. Asinine.

absolutely the worst bar I have ever been to. the bartenders are wasted and the company is awful. Bouncers are extremely violent and guests are extremely rowdy. avoid this shit bar at all costs, they are way overpriced and absolutely unreasonable. if you pay a cover to get in HAHAHAHA. Hoping this bar shuts down because it's actually scum of Annapolis

Do not go to Acme ever again! This bar is not a safe! My son was assaulted by a complete stranger in an unprovoked attack Friday, 11/24/2023. While in line for the bathroom, he was attacked by a guy who had just come out of the bathroom. My son was not looking and the guy grabbed his head and slammed it into a wall with an exposed screw leaving him in pain and bleeding profusely!! The bar showed no concern about his injuries, did not call for an ambulance or police, and threw him out onto the street! We called the police and I took my son to the emergency room where we spent the entire night! Do not go to Acme, you're not safe at this place!

Came during happy hour and didn't realize the drinks were on sale until after I left. They did charge for full price for my cocktail. We ordered an appetizer and it wasn't too bad. The service was a bit slow but overall was a good experience.

if i could give this place 0 stars I would. bouncer was an a$$hole and weird about our IDs. If you have out of state IDs definitely don't go. bartender charged me $12 for a $7 drink and while he went to get it, he made out with his girlfriend first. then my friends got drinks and he said "aren't you gonna tip me?". Terrible! I will never go back here and I recommend that you don't either.

The bouncer Austin was an absolute jerk. He would not let my friend and I in because he thought our real IDs were fake, stating that "there's absolutely no way" we were 24. We offered to provide alternative forms of ID and he was unwilling to look at them. The second bouncer said to change his mind/prove our IDs were real we needed police verification. We obtained police verification and the bouncer said "I get it wrong sometimes but these girls are assholes and are not coming in." Absolutely never going back or supporting this business.

Don't use out of state IDs here! I used a valid Kansas ID to enter ACME and it was repeatedly bent nearly 180 degrees which has led to the eventual destruction of the license. As a valid drivers license, it had holographic imaging and other features delineating it as real. These methods could have been used as opposed to destroying government property. I now have to replace my drivers license, and I'm not going to replace it just to have it bent again so I can wait 30 minutes for a pissed off bartender to hand me a drink.
