Amazing! Absolutely amazing. My band did a weekend tour with shows in Baltimore & DC, but we stayed in Annapolis about 7 minutes from this place. ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! We all were raving about the food for the rest of the day. It's in like a "downtown" touristy area, so it's all metered parking, & very busy with the "hustle & bustle" of foot traffic, but it's a great area to be in. The staff was friendly & attentive, the wait wasn't too long, but the food made it all worth it. Definitely on my list of places to go when in Maryland from now on. I only took pictures of my food in this case, but everyone loved their food. I had the Biscuits & Gravy, which was the best I've ever had. Usually it's lacking in either the gravy flavor, or the biscuits are dry. This was perfection. I also had their Crab Dip....Incredible. It has almost like a sweet Thai chili glaze to it that just makes it irresistible. I tried to push to go back the next day, but everyone else wanted to try somewhere different, which makes sense, but I didn't care...the food was THAT good, lol.

I had an ok experience here. My cocktail was good. For food, I tried the grilled chicken sandwich and the bacon cheeseburger. Both were ok, but I've had better sandwiches and burgers at bars and pubs before. If you're drinking and you're hungry I think this bar would suffice. The vibe was casual and the service was good.

7/16/22Alex our server is great. Our hostess that got our attention to this restaurant is great. The food we ate was delicious. Let's get down to business.It was raining cats and dogs and we were hungry. Enter 1771 G&T Restaurant. Our hostess who I think of as college student name Ms. Costanza, showed us to a table near the front of the restaurant/bar. The restaurant has 3 floors, but the party room floor was closed for the day. The second floor has bathrooms and an additional area for dining. It the time we were there, the second floor was empty, except for bathroom users. In case you are wondering, the bathrooms are not gender neutral. Our server turned out to be a man named Alex. He is orginally from Ohio who moved to Annapolis Maryland 3 years ago. I believe he is now a Baltimore Ravens fan and loves where he lives now. Alex was full of joy when we saw him and knew the whole menu like the back of his hand.Ginger Ale for the both of us followed by hot fries came out. I wasn't to hungry so I ordered the S'more's Brownie. My wife a burger and we ate like king and queen. While eating, the place filled up with a wedding reception party. Not sure why, but beautiful white girls filled the restaurant. My wife noticed, them too, but was more appalled by a drunk guys singing at the moment.Nevertheless, we learned from Alex this restaurant changed names not to long ago. I also noticed there is another wedding party going on in another restaurant. I did not like seeing balloons being thrown out the window.1771 restaurant is one we will definitely come back to. The bathrooms were well maintained and stink free. Oh, there is a nlbarhroom on the second floor too. It is marked as W.C for Water Closet. A name I have not seen or heard of since visiting Europe.

They are no longer in business. It looked delicious so we walked over from our hotel. The windows are papered up and the signs indicate someone else might be soon occupying the space.

I went in on a busy Friday evening. I was able to get an outdoor table right away. It took about 10 minutes before anyone got to me, only after I flagged down someone and asked for my waiter to come to the table. The waiter was nice and personable. I ordered the arugula salad and crab dip along with two cocktails. Everything was tasty. The quantity of toppings on the salad was light compared to the other photos I saw of it on Yelp. The crab dip only had a few pieces of crab and was a little thin, but great flavor. The cocktails were perfect. I would definitely return to try more of their menu.

Proof that you don't have to be sucked in by the overpriced chain eatery's to have a good experience. Steaming hot summer afternoon, walked in for a quiet, relaxing lunch of a couple of salads.. Server was on the ball, quite a character in a good way and a hip dude. My fiance and I combined the watermelon salad and an arugula and greens salad which made for refreshing lunch. The meal did not bust the bank like the other restaurants who are fully embracing 'Greedflation'. Anyway, we left satisfied with our food and enjoyed a little spirited conversation with the server, who btw, reminded us of Wyatt Langmore from Ozark..hahaha..

Great experience. The new owners have done a wonderful job with this location. Both the decor and food were top notch. The shrimp and grits had a wonderfully rich flavor, and I loved the polenta cake it was served over. Don't get me started on the short rib grilled cheese...crave worthy!!!As a local, I'm always on the lookout for new places in Annapolis where one can get good food in the midst of the charming downtown. Unfortunately those places tend to be few and far between, but this place checks all the boxes. We'll be back and highly recommend!!!

Probably the cutest bar in Annapolis! Has great gin and tonics and we also enjoyed the hot mulled cider. The bartender was super busy while we were there but she still managed to be super attentive and serve us some great drinks! Will return for food another time!

I never make reviews.. this experience was awful and here's why. 1. Terrible Food- Salad came out as wet lettuce no dressing.- Crab cake was garbage, wth were in Maryland.-No Coffee, lemonade, ice tea.- Asked for truffle fries, came out regular, and then told us we couldn't sub, instead made us order a $10 truffle fry2. Terrible Service- Entire staff is children, age 17 or less.. kids are trying their best, just zero experience.- We we're not checked on, asked how our food was until 15 minutes after the food was out.- We told our waiter our woes, poor kid.. his manager refused to come out and see us.. - they immediately took away the food from us that they comped so we couldn't eat it. This was deliberate, and also comical...have never seen that before. 3. Overpriced $30 crab cake sandwich. Wtf. $25 a head for lunch no drinks We left annoyed, and again the manager wouldn't even come see us. I literally wanted to warn people coming in. So I'm doing it here. I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemies. Eat here if you want shitty food and you have too much money. Awful management, food, and experience. Seriously. Don't eat here. PS. Rise Up coffee was awesome, saved the day.

I was a mid attending USNA from 1998-2002 when I would occasionally head downtown to eat and grab a drink on the weekends. During my time there Riordan's occupied the footprint of what now is dubbed 1771 G&T. Much has changed about the city dock area but the general landscape is the same. My most recent visit included one of my daughters who is 10 and we were there for my 20th reunion back in October. We have this spot a chance and it did not disappoint. In fact, we were very well cared for my a young fella named Christian who expertly tended to our needs with diligence and punctilious courtesy. The food was excellent and their beer selection was varied and of good quality. I had a burger and beer and my daughter enjoyed the Mac and cheese. If you're looking for a clean, well run spot for a comfortable, quick sit down experience try this spot. I trust you'll enjoy the experience. Cheers!
