"My family and I came to Joe Benny's while they were in town for the weekend and had a great dinner. We got there fairly early for dinner and were seated right away. It's pretty small, so don't be surprised if there's a wait! I got the Fancy Nancy focaccia pizza (basil pesto, roasted eggplant, lemon whipped burrata, arugula tossed in balsamic). It was SO incredibly delicious. I love thick crust on pizza, so getting to eat all of these delicious toppings on focaccia bread was basically my dream pizza. They originally brought out the wrong pizza for me, so there was about a 15 minute delay between when my family got their pizza and when I got mine, but they were nice enough to waive the cost of my pizza from our bill! Best free pizza I've ever had.Can't wait to come back soon and try some other menu items!"

"The service was quick. We were seated almost instantly, the place was jam packed which is good to see because it gave me the impression that this place must be delicious. It was a bit confusing to find out that although they seated us, they don't take our orders while we are seated. I had to walk back to the front and wait in line again to order, luckily I had my mom with me to leave my three children or else I think I would've been upset. But besides that, the staff and service were quick and amazing. I definitely recommend eating here!"

"Matthew's Pizza has been around since the early '40s, and they're known for their Crab Pie.We came here to check their pizzas out, and the place was cute and cozy. Note that there's many who calls in to place orders to go, and some ingredients may run out.We ordered:+the 3 Cheese Pie - with hand-grated mozzarella, reggianito, and ricotta; I think we should have gone for the simple 1- or 2-cheese pie, as the ricotta was just not good in here; there were just clumps of it that was not spread around and didn't seemed to be cooked all the way through+the Crab Pie - topped with backfin crab meat, hand-grated mozzarella, caramelized onions, and Old Bay seasoning; this looked great visually, as there was crab that covered all the surface area; however, not sure how fresh the crab was, as it did have a 'fishy' odor and taste to itThe sizes of the pies seemed like personal pan pizzas; the crust, similar to a pan-style. It was stated that they come out 'well-done', but I felt that we should have requested 'extra well-done' or 'extra crispy'.There was only one staff member who was working, and she was on it! She was able to take orders on the phone, for carry-outs, and service all the tables.Street parking can be found around the area.+friendly staff"

"Well well, what can I say? I really really really wanted to love this place. But this place wouldn't let me be great. After attending a local Yelp event, I chose this place over one of my favorites because it was nearby and it has some really good Yelp reviews so I was really interested in visiting and sharing the same experience. I did not share that same experience.My Yelp friend and I decided to give this place a visit. When we 1st entered, there was a older guy named Mike. He was initially personable although really wasn't too helpful in identifying 2 seats. I asked about 2 bar seats in front of us and he told us no one was sitting there but it looks like someone has to clean it up. And that was it. He had no interest in wiping down the bar area for us or making arrangements with someone else to do it. That was a little bothersome.Another staff member (from the bar) did eventually agree to wipe the cluttered counter and we were pleased.Immediately when we sat down and requested water. ... I'm going to lessen the suspense about the water... we never got it. Collectively we ordered...- Mai Kinda Tai (Apricot Allspice Rum, Orgeat Syrup Grand Marnier, Lime Grapefruit)- Brussels Sprouts (Black Garlic Aioli, Chili Oil, Coppa)- Meatballs (House Ricotta, Tomato Sauce)- Crispy Pork BellySoon after ordering, we noticed an older couple walked in and not only were they greeted ecstatically, the older guy Mike actually cleaned off the bar area for them.Next, the bar guy Tim that was assisting us and never brought us waters, IMMEDIATELY brought them two waters. I didn't even hear them ask for water !!I'm not sure why we couldn't have water this evening but we just couldn't have water this evening.Waited 15+ minutes for bill after asking for it. Another 5 minutes while waiting for cc's and signature receipts. Something positive...The food was absolutely amazing! The food came out within 7 to 10 minutes of ordering, beautifully plated and delicious! Perfect temperature presentation!Sadly I was considering this place as one of my birthday event locations but that will not happen!! As much as I absolutely love the food, I can't go anywhere EVER where I'm not appreciated. It's 1 thing if the food wasn't as great but the customer service was bad and intentional.I can't deal with bad customer service.Do better!"

"This is the best pizza I've had in awhile! My daughter had the naked chicken wings and a cheese pizza. My wife had the baked potato pizza and I had the Margarita pizza. This is Detroit style pizza and they have NAILED the crust! Don't get me wrong the entire pizza is FANTASTIC but damn is the crust immaculate! Fluffy with a perfect crunch and chew to it. The flavors hit from every angle and don't hold back. I cannot even to begin to describe how damn insane the baked potato pizza was. I always thought TOT was my favorite form of potato.... It might be pizza form after this! This is a MUST SEEK OUT type of place in my honest opinion! Service was awesome as well even though we did go on a Tuesday at noon. Does look like a night life type of place! Damn this"

"Stopped by and picked up some meatballs for dinner. I am still eating keto so I'm always looking for something that I can eat that is keto. I take my own keto bread and it's awesome to eat their meatballs with the keto bread. Win win. The parking lot is handicapped accessible as is the restaurant. They are usually pretty busy especially on weekends. The restrooms are clean and have a handicap stall The service is very quick. You can order ahead of time for take out or eat in. I recommend them for parties or if you love Italian food try this place-you won't regret it."

"Johnny Rad's Pizzeria Tavern is a hidden gem that's been calling to me from across the street for what feels like forever. Finally, I succumbed to its siren song and stepped inside. "I love it here. Their cordial hospitality and warmth is rare in today's culture. I feel as if I have been transported to Gaeta on every visit, one of my best summers. They are exceedingly welcoming. It helps that I also love their pizza. It's delicious. You will never be disappointed here. They are my go to."

"Glad to see they're still around and holding on strong!!! Since my last review, the Foggy Bottom location closed. So this is my most convenient location to access! If there isn't traffic, I can get there in about 25 minutes, so it's not bad! Some friends and I most recently swung by after axe throwing nearby. It was about an hour before they closed. We were a party of 9 or 10, and they happily put together some high tables near the bar for us. Maybe it's because I've only sat at the bar in the past, but now you can either order with the server or scan the QR code that way. And the menus were these fancy tablets that I initially thought we could order through! They have so many pizzas now I forgot which one I got, but it was one I haven't had yet. I ordered a personal one through the server and I got garlic knots to go through the QR code. The staff were all very polite and everyone got taken care of. The pizza was great, and so were those garlic knots! I still cringe at how much cheaper they are in NY though, LOL! It seems like they don't do karaoke anymore, but I think they have some other events I can come through for. Long live HomeSlyce!"

"Went there for dinner with friends over the holiday. They quoted us 45 minutes. We left, came back in 45 minutes, and they said 45 minutes again. Then got sat in about 20 minutes. Pizza was ok but not amazing. Server did not know the menu, took bar orders, then forgot them, then came back and said they were out of whatever ordered. No reason to go back."

"The service here is top notch! The staff are very attentive and friendly. It's a small set up but had ample dining space. It did not feel too cramped. I ordered the tandoori chicken and it comes with white basmati rice. The tandoori chicken comes out sizzling! The chicken was well seasoned and moist and the rice was cooked well - not too hard, not mushy."

"This is a cute little spot with its own little beach. Perfect for chilling with family or friends by the water while enjoying a bite to eat. We just grabbed some cheeseburgers and fries and it was good! Nice juicy burger with gooey cheese! The service was great and everyone was super friendly and helpful! The drinks were delicious! I had a strawberry daiquiri and it was so refreshing. The outside bar is also dope and I love how it's for 21 and up only. The swimmable beaches are located a few minutes away (by car) which is fine but the parking here is pretty awful."

"This is in the Belvedere Venue - used to be a hotel, now an event space and condos. The ambiance of The Owl Bar is worth the visit. Happily our brunch was also very good, as were the cocktails and the server was very friendly!! The beignets were worth the calories!!"

"The pizza location is inside the Marriott Hotel near Camden Yards. It's small and most people are ordering for takeout. The process takes about 7 minutes once you order your pizza, it's quickly made, pushed into the oven, and placed in the takeout box already cut/sliced. The combination pizza reminded me of a New York style, needing to fold it in half prevent it from falling forward. The flavor was very good, and I would definitely order again for a takeout experience."

"We tried to make it to coal fire every couple months because they have an excellent happy hour and I really love the lasagna pizza. We tend to eat in the bar because we like to do the happy hour and I'm always impressed by the incredible service we receive and attention from the staff.The pizza is never a miss and it's definitely become one of my favorites. This time we got to try the buffalo chicken pizza along with the lasagna pizza and both were excellent and we definitely had enough for lunch the next day. I also got a cocktail and really enjoyed it!"

"Finally had the chance to check out Tino's and I was pleasantly surprised. A friend from work son was hosting an event for Lumiere Vodka so I came after work. The parking lot is small but I was lucky to find a spot near the front entrance. I made a reservation to make sure I had a table since I expected the event to be well attended. I checked in with the hostess and was seated quickly. The interior is small. A small bar separates the two sides of the dinning area. They have additional seating outside. For the event there was a live music performing outside as well. The waitress Trish was great. She explained the menu and offered some suggestions on what she enjoyed. I chose the veal parmigiana. She provided some fresh bread with olive oil. The main course came out very quickly. The flavor was delicious. It was so good that I forgot to take a picture before I dug in. The portion was large enough for me to have leftovers to take home. Prices are reasonable with some good looking lunch specials. I will definitely return."

"If you are looking for a nice comfortable and chill spot to give you a feel for NY good, this is the place to go. They have a vast amount of menu items. Quick and friendly service done with a smile. I ordered a slice of pepperoni and sausage pizza. Definitely a NY sized slice. You can order a whole pizza as well. Pizza was full of cheese and toppings in every bite. Also ordered the shrimp BLT wrap. Not your average size wrap. With the slice of pizza, I was only able to eat one half of the wrap. But it was very tasty and lots of shrimp and bacon."

"We understand that Santucci's changed owners and it's not what it used to be, but since we have nothing to compare, we both liked our subs. Nothing beats an NE/NY/NJ sub shop, but this isn't too far off. The sub roll had a good texture and was well-filled. Subs were big. My eggplant parm sub was tasty and my partner enjoyed his order. I'd return when the craving hits."

"Lovely little restaurant. Must try for the Hagerstown area!! It's a small hole in the wall family owned restaurant. The family is from Romania. The pizza is one of my favorite things here, as well as the Lasagna. When you dine in they always give a homemade roll with butter as an appetizer and a donut kind of funnel cake with powdered sugar as a dessert. It's a smaller space but kind of cozy inside. Service is always pretty quick no matter how busy it is and they are very friendly and always up for conversation. Overall, it's one of my favorite places to go in Hagerstown!"

"My wife and I came here a little before 1pm on a Sunday. Since we are visiting the area and were unsure of their COVID operations we called in advance. We were told that they were open for carry out, delivery and dine-in so we headed in. When you walk in you are asked to wait just inside the entrance and we were quickly greeted and provided a seat. We were the only people inside other than the two employees who appeared to be busy preparing to-go and/or delivery orders. We looked through the menu and everything sounded delicious! The interior is warm, welcoming, clean and cozy. My wife chose the regular sized Italian calzone and I ordered the 8" meat combo pizza. We learned that all the dough is made from the pretzel dough. Our orders arrived about 15 minutes later and looked really really good and tasted just as yummy! We both really enjoyed them and only wished we had more room in our stomachs to enjoy one of the stuffed pretzels for dessert but before we leave town we plan to stop back to grab at least one to go!There is also a second location in Frederick!"

"My friend has been going to this place for over 20Years and raves about it. He brought me here yesterday and wow it is pretty good. The prices are great also. Everyday pizza special two pieces of pizza and a soda for $6.50!!!! What!?The owner Steve is super friendly. Love how you can watch them make and bake your pizzas through the glass. Womens bathroom was clean. Sweet and unsweet iced tea in the self serve soda fountain.My slices had mushrooms and black olives. A lot food for the price. Tasty New York style flat crust. Mmmmm"

"Had a wonderful late lunch here between the Christmas and New Year holidays. Our server was attentive and made great suggestions along the way. I had the peach ice tea, garlic edamame and the cilantro shrimp sandwich. All very delicious. My guy opted for the ahi tuna and the house burger topped with an egg and accompanied by broccolini and loved all of it. The decor is modern and posh. There are glass enclosed private dining rooms and a spacious bar area too. We'll definitely be returning."

"I tried Continental Pizza recently and the cheesesteak and fries were really solid. Nothing too special, but they definitely hit the spot. The large sandwiches are basically just two regular-sized ones, so you get a good amount of food. The inside is a bit dated, so I'd mostly go there for carryout, but there were still a good number of people dining in when I went. The staff was nice and friendly, which made the experience even better. I'll definitely come back to try more things and grab some pictures. Seems like a solid lunch spot!"

"I was feeling some pizza and I've been eyeballing this spot for a while! It was a little noisy, but it was a Friday night, so I get it. You can order from your phone or go to the bar and order your food. The pizza was overall pretty good, and the wings were great, too! They had Athletics for those who don't drink and their California mead was deliciously sweet. The only thing I thought was weird was that the pizzas are put on paper/cardboard circles and they gave us paper plates.Other than that, I'd love to come back and do some trivia and, of course, try their other drinks and meals!"

"For lunch, Pasta Mista is well worth a stop; great looking pizza is available and a wide range of pastas. I chose the baked ziti, and it was more than I could eat. For a bit, I wondered if I'd made a bad choice as it seemed to take a while, but when I looked back through the kitchen and saw they were boiling my pasta for the dish rather than scooping from a pre-prepared batch, I knew the extra time was worth it. Plenty of sauce with a healthy layer of cheese and wonderfully cooked ziti made this a really good dish, so I was very happy with it. Several people came and went for pizza as I sat there eating lunch so I can't help but wish I had more time to try that as well."

"First, the food was delicious. I was blown away by the calamari in how soft it was. AND the sauce for it was made by the restaurant and didn't feel like a single drop of pre-made tomato sauce you would get at grocery stores. It had a hint of garlic and pieces of tomatos and i really appreciated the hint of the authenticity outside of normal marinara sauce you would get at other restaurants.Also the pasta was great with the hint mushrooms and the cheesy flavor was a nice touch.Main entree was fabulous but the appetizer was what made want to come back."

"Best fried calamari we've ever had. Pizza is superb, with chewy crust. The veggie pizza is loaded with fresh vegetables. You can also order wine with your meal. You order at the counter and then sit down and they will deliver the food to your table. They also do a brisk carryout business. Once you get your food, it is pretty much self-service. (drinks, utensils) but they do clear off your table afterward. We are from Virginia, but we often make it a point to go there when we are visiting family in Bowie."
