My friends and I wanted to drink before going to a museum on the first Thursday of the month in the late afternoon but many of the places weren't opened until 3pm. Daaaarn until we found this place which was opened! Whoohoo! It's located next to Ballard Coffee Works and Cupcake Royale on NW Market St in Ballard. There's a lot of paid parking spaces but also free residential parking a few blocks up. During dinner hours, parking can get really tough around the area. I got a flight of four (peep at pic). I got the Buoy Vienna Lager, Bauman's Dry Cider Loganberry, Stoup Red Ale, and Obec Summer Saison. I'm not usually a big drinker so I didn't really know what to choose from the list LOL. I usually like my beers a little more on the fruitier side which they didn't have besides the Mango Sour which I didn't not want to chance since I knew sours weren't my fav. The ones I chose were all kind of hoppy but still really good! I think my least favorite was the dry cider. I guess I don't like my ciders dry at all LMAO. My group enjoyed their drinks too!Huge place to hang out with friends on a night out (or in this case, afternoon LOL)! Very spacious and quite a few drinks to choose from. P.S. They have happy hour until 4 or 5pm! $5 drinks.

Ballard Beer Company and decent drinking spot that kinda reminds me Thor for some reason, the Asgardian drinking all, because it's like a big hall with bench seating. There is a cool upstairs area too.You walk through to the counter and on the wall is displayed the current options. Easily the best thing about this place I've seen and not at others is 6, count em' 6 glasses in a flight! You can get 4, but the option for 6 is awesome. In my visits the selection has been alright, nothing exclusive or anything jumps out to me. Even their Hazy's, or red ale which I like just get an OK on my pallette rather thanThis where I gotta be honest and say that BB - Ballard Beer does slumps just slightly There are a ton of breweries in the area, so competition is hot. I think BB is counting on its easy to spot, easy to come to, neighborhood appeal. The service is just OK. Not very engaging like at other breweries.I do like the setting and the art in the walls. I'm grading in the upper curve from a 3 to 4 but BB needs a bit more character both in beer and service.

My wife and I came here with her two friends, my cousin, and his girlfriend after seeing Black Panther at Majestic Bay on a Sunday afternoon last month. This is a good spot with large tables so it is great to meet large groups. They have about over a dozen local beers on tap as well as a couple of ciders. They also have some bottles and cans as well. My wife and I tried two flights and we loved everything we had. The staff is also very friendly and the prices are quite low.

I painted the Sasquatch / Orca Mural at the front of the shop ... I kind of have an affinity for this place. There is a whole lot of competition in the area, but BBCo. is still one of the best spots in town to visit if you want to sample a wide variety of local beers without having to do a brewery crawl.

I came here with a couple friends for our nightcap of exploring businesses in the Ballard area, both new and old. This is a large space that feels very open. The tables are long and can fit any decent-sized party ranging from 4 to 8 people. They have a large selection of beers written on a board on their walls. My preference is darker beers so I went for the stouts. I saw a peanut butter stout that caught my eye and I went with that. I really liked it as it is what I'm looking for as I'm not much of a beer drinker and don't want the light and super carbonated stuff. The great part is that they allow outside food because they don't serve food themselves. In the immediate area there are a couple options such as Thai and Mexican.I don't go to the Ballard area much but this is a cool spot!

I really like it here! I didn't know about this place until I went to Pestle Rock in Ballard with someone and they recommended grabbing a drink here. I've been to the area a few times before so I'm not sure how I missed this place because it's huge.LOCATION & PARKING //Ballard Beer Garden is on NW Market Street in between 22nd and Leary. It's next to the movie theater! Personally, I've never had an issue finding street parking but it really just depends on what day and time you go.DRINK QUALITY //This is annoying but I don't remember what beer I got. I just remember looking at the menu and wanting to try a bunch of them. They have a good beer selection here so you're bound to find something you like!SERVICE //We came on a Friday night and the service here was great. Staff were kind and had friendly demeanors. I felt really welcome here!AMBIANCE //This is what makes this place win for me. Like I said, I was surprised I had never noticed this place before because it's quite large and the ambiance is right up my alley. It's quite an open space with a TON of various seating options. There are smaller tables upstairs, long community tables downstairs in the main area, and higher tables with stools for a more intimate conversation. There are also a bunch of games for entertainment as well. Everything just felt lowkey and casual which I liked a lot.OVERALL // 5.0 starsI'm a fan! I am looking forward to bringing my friends here. I think this pace is great for both small and large groups.

Came here with a friend to hangout and enjoy the atmosphere! My friend enjoyed their beer selection, unfortunately I'm unable to have alcohol and the only options they offered for non-alcoholic were can soda or water. The space is really nice and open. They allow you to bring in your own food which is nice and they are pup friendly! On the day we happened to be there, they had trivia upstairs!

Came for silent book club! I loved the dog friendly atmosphere! They had a couple unique and tasty beers and ciders to choose from. No food, but you can bring food in since they don't have any. The tables are more German beer hall style, so you'll likely be sharing with others. The lighting probably wasn't the greatest for reading, but is plenty for just drinking and hanging out with friends. They also have trivia too, which made reading a bit tough, but seems really popular. This spot is a bit noisier, but pretty good for groups or events of many purposes.

Extremely impressed by the ambiance and service! I ordered a cider so I cannot speak to the beers unfortunately, but the blood orange cider was tasty - more dry than most ciders. The loft seemed like a perfect space for a cozy 10-30 person party, so I'm sure I'll be back in the future - because the only con was the inevitable struggle parking in Ballard.

I love this place, but lately, their hours have been incredibly sporadic. The hours on their door don't match the hours on Google, or their actual hours. They say they open at 3 every day, but I've gone after 4, around 5, and at 6:45, and they're not open. No indication that they would be closed or why they should be closed. Just closed, during operating hours. It's really annoying. I just want to visit this quaint, comfortable neighborhood watering hole, but it's impossible because they never seem to be open. Even when they say they will be. It would be great if they could at least provide an accurate schedule, including the random days they choose to be closed.
