We walked by on a sunday morning and loved our all the pastries we ordered. We wanted to order everything because they all looked so good and fresh. Our service was prompt and friendly. We really enjoyed our brossaint, filled croissant, and spinach and cheese pastry. We got a mushroom babka, but next time we'll have to get a sweet babka. The bagel with tuna salad was also delicious. I would probably skip the coffee next time.

I've discovered that there are monthly babkas that are not their traditional laminated ones (not my favorite) that are more of a fluffy brioche style, and I LOVE THEM! So far I've tried the peach, apple, and pumpkin (like a cross between a cinnamon roll and pumpkin pie), and I love that they're not too sweet. Yes they're pricey.

bakey bakey bakey! i wish i lived closer so i had an excuse to visit more often. they have an impressive array of both savory and sweet pastries and a tried and true drink menu. it can get full very (very) quickly, so be prepared to take ur order to-go if it's peak.

Only great things to say about this small, neat, clean bakery. Though smallish, that does not limit one's choices. As best as I can recall, there were 3 different types of bagels, a variety of savory baked, a variety of sweet baked goods, prepared salads, etc. Without a doubt, the babka is the star here but I had to try the bagels which had gotten relatively bad reviews on Yelp and, while they are not traditional bagels, we thought these challah bagels were pretty damn good. Of the 2 cashiers, initially there seemed to be a language barrier with one who seemed not to understand my inquiries but the other one was delightful.

Great quality with well focused selection, good job at getting the basics done right instead of looking for appearances

The chocolate babka lives up to the hype. It may be the best chocolate pastry I've ever eaten and that is saying a lot. There is so much delicious chocolate in every bite and the flakey pastry keeps you coming back for more. This is something every chocolate lover needs to experience. Just buy the entire loaf. Yes it's $16 but you will not regret it I promise. I didn't get a chance to try out the other baked goods but everything looked amazing and you know it is fresh because they bake it in front of you.

If babka is something of interest this is the place for you! They have all types of flavors and varieties. They also have bagels, challah, and some other prepared foods/sandwiches. My mom got the s'mores babka and said it was good but lacked chocolate and was slightly dry. This was $8, so a bit steep. Nice ambiance in here. Employees are very friendly. Good seating, nice spot to do work or meet up with friends.

So good!!! I got the ChocoBanana Pecan Babka to go, but was so excited I ate it while walking. DIVINE! Somewhere between a piece of babka and bread pudding, it was soft and gooey with fresh banana slices in it, intense chocolate flavor, and pecans to add some crunch back. I'm definitely going back to try all the flavors now since it was so tasty, staff was so friendly, and there were tables inside and out.

Bakey Bakery is incredibly overpriced for what you get. The portions are small, and the bagels taste more like challah bread than a true bagel. While the staff is friendly, they always seem confused, and they frequently run out of items. Given the prime location, it's puzzling that they don't restock throughout the day--any smart business would ensure products are available during the day.Their rewards program is frustrating, too. It never seems to work, and none of the staff seem to know how to apply it properly. Overall, the place is okay, but unfortunately, with so few good bakeries around, this is what we get--and with no alternatives, they are very popular.
