WOW - old school market and 1st class butcher (fresh meats). Order two Porterhouse 1lb ea & two thick cut Pork Chops. ALL was EXCELLENT. Quick friendly service from butcher to cashier. Driving from No Cal to Palm Desert - great find. We will definitely stop again.

Absolutely love coming to this meat market for high quality meats. My husband and I are regulars here and whenever we feel like grilling, this place is our go-to. It is a bit on the pricier side but that's expected with the quality they provide. You get what you pay for! It is also in a nice shopping area with a Sullys, In-Shape gym, Smitten, and Dewars. Highly recommend checking this place out when you are in the area.

So, I don't come into this meat market much, but every time we have visited we have gotten quality meats here. The first time we visited we picked up some stuffed chili verde double pork chops and those bad boys were thick. You would think the chili verde wouldn't stick, but it did and it works. I'm thinking, you should probably get that the next time you stop by here. 1 pork chop can probably feed 2-3 people depending how hungry you guys are, but 1 is way too much for 1 person. It's not that expensive, it's actually a really good price.This is located in a nice location with tons of parking, so parking is not a problem. Every time I have visited I have not seen this place super busy, so if you're in a rush, you can guarantee you'll be in and out quickly. They have nice meat packages too that's already bundled for you, so you don't have to take too much of your time picking them out since it's already bundled for you.They have a variety of marinades, sauces and rubs that is organized by brands. They also have lots of herbs and spices to pimp out your meats. If you haven't tried the meats here yet, I think you should. I'm looking forward to trying the different sausage flavors they have.We came recently for Father's Day and grabbed the stuffed pork chops and it was stuffed with stuffing. It had great flavor and I was pretty impressed. It was almost as impressive as the stuffed chili verde one. I highly recommend either one of those. My husband pan fried them on all sides then put them in the oven, it was very moist and delicious.The place gets pretty busy when everyone gets off of work, but it's pretty fast. The service is quick and they have several people attending the meat station, so you won't be there long. The place always looks clean considering there's meat everywhere. They also have side items that are already made or some veggies on the shelves when you first walk in to your right.

I've recently been paying a lot closer attention to the things that I'm consuming: my news, my thoughts, my food. (It's alarming, once your eyes are truly opened, how poisonous most of the things we ingest on a daily basis really are.) With the emphasis on quality and dependability of ingredients, I wanted to find a new place to buy meat because I knew I just couldn't trust the regular grocery stores any longer. I've grown so sick of being sick, so I don't mind spending a little extra to ensure I'm getting ACTUAL meat, straight from an ACTUAL animal, not some lab-grown science experiment. The guys at wood-dale always know what they're talking about, too. I always feel like I can ask them anything and they'll give me the most accurate information. I've been going to them for everything--from my everyday ground beef and chicken to the specialty holiday roasts and thanksgiving turkey, and everything has been absolutely delicious.

I already wrote a sterling review of the new market and the other close by has the same quality of meat. If you enjoy and are willing to pay a tad more you can't go wrong with a trip to Wood-Dale Markets!

Love this place everyone is super cool except the older lady cashier get rid of her and people would probably come more often she so unpleasant so cold

The service was fine. The quality of the meat is good I think but I don't cook meat all that much so I am not the best judge really but it seems to be fine. Nothing particularly wrong. I actually do not buy meat enough to know whether or not I am getting a good deal for the cut I chose. But I do like the shopping centre that located in. The parking lot does get crowded at times but I used to go to the gym there, I had a realtor there and I used to go to the med spa there. Also there is a good, but a little pricey hair salon there that I will review as well. So this spot is perfect for the moms out there! lol

Nice market. I usually go to the old one, where they are a little nicer. Went to this lication, people working there including the cashier seemed miserable. Dont think Ill come back to this one.

Employees are very friendly and knowledgeable on their products. They have a great variety of seasonings and sauces to choose from.

Really disappointed in the stuffed chili Verde pork chop. First of all, the cheese is worse tasting not sure if it was blue cheese or what. Way too strong, which I understand that we all have different pellets for flavors. FYI I like blue cheese but not in a pork chop, my god.God. WORSE THING EVER I HAVE A VERY BAD TASTE FROM THE MEAT ALMOST FISHY. I AM HOPING NOT TO GET SICK. OLD AND TAINTED.I am a long-time customer and usually pleased with your product but not sureill be be back soon. Very Disappointed Pete
