Wimpy's Hamburgers

Great burgers and wings, and we could not put the fries down! They are seasoned fries and are really good! We all got our burgers Bandit Style with grilled onions, jalapeños, cheese, and special wimpy sauce. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available.

Came by here to grab a burger and tried the patty melt with the grilled onions and also got the Jalapeño poppers. Unfortunately they have Pepsi products instead of coke, so I got a root beer to drink, and really enjoyed it.The service was excellent and the staff made our order perfectly! I truly enjoyed the patty melt very much and will have to come back again soon to try the Bruto, it looked good too, but I was in the mood for a patty melt

I decided to go for something more local tonight. We ordered the Brut Burger deal, 4 Brut burgers, 4 small fries and 4 small drinks for $43. Everything was delicious!! The seasoned fries are the best. Everyone was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean. They have a little seating area outside on the patio but not very much parking. They share a parking lot with a gas station. I say it is well worth every penny. This was more than enough food to feed 2- 19 year old boys, a 7 year old and myself.

It was our first time trying this place and the cashier was very patient with us. We got two #1's Whimpy burgers. The medium drink is pretty big, pretty much a large. It's a cute little restaurant, very clean and just off the 99 right before the Outlets.

Wimpy's Hamburgers is a decades old survivor of Tulare's once thriving days, and it is still a favorite of locals. As the name implies, the theme of this restaurant is Wimpy, along with his cronies, Popeye, Bluto and Olive Oyl. The inside of the restaurant probably hasn't seen an upgrade since grand opening, but I think that is part of the charm that is Wimpy's. The service is average; not bad, not outstanding. The food, however, is always on point. My order is usually the Wimpy Burger along with an order of their seasoned fries. Wimpy's has been serving up seasoned fries before seasoned fries were cool and they never disappoint.

While driving back from vacation, tried this local hamburger shop. Has some cute designs from Popeye's cartoon. Wimpy. Most importantly the food was good. Added cheese to the Wimpy burger because it didn't come with it, without ordering the combo. If you like In N out then you'll definitely like this burger. Also got small orders of Fried Zucchini, Fried Mushrooms, Onion Rings and French Fries. Everything was fried well, tasty, and piping out. The fries were a little bit salty but overall the food was spot on and the service was A+. Too bad there's no Wimpy's where I live. Would came back here again if I were in the neighborhood.

Hands down one of the best burgers around. The Tulare location, although in a sketchy part of town is superb. Service is always on point, as the gals that work there really go out of their way to be friendly. The seasoning on the fries takes it to the next level. I will definitely have to try the wings next time we are in. This is a cute spot to take a lunch date and enjoy a delicious bite! My THREEnager loves it every time!

Can't believe it took me so long to try Wimpy's out! Everything I've tried has been delicious! I love that the bun on my burger is always toasted enough to make it crispy when you take that first bite. The quality of the burger is pretty good! The fries are super crispy and seasoned well. This is better than your typical burger place. If you come visit this place on a Saturday and Sunday you also get a coupon for a free ice cream! The customer service is also outstanding. The manager here is always so nice! I can't remember his name, but he was treating all customers so well I thought he might own the place. This will be my go to for burgers when in Tulare.

love it here!! the atmosphere the people the food and the food again !! love the bbq burger and the fries !! can't forget the ice cream it's so smooth and such a good price. pair the fries with the ice cream for an epic combo. the employees are always so nice and helpful and if you dine in they bring the food to you! or serve it to u on trays. still very nice and worth going in! cartoons playing inside and artwork all over ! definitely recommend coming here for lunch or even dinner!!!

The long drive up to Fresno is pretty boring. We usually stop off at In-N-Out burger but wanted something different on this trip. Wimpy's looked interesting so we gave it a try.. So was it worth it?This is small place with a diverse fast-food menu. I wouldn't say anything is noteworthy here (maybe their pastrami) but their fries are of the seasoned variety. Overall the food was better than your national hamburger chains.Pastrami Sandwich - Basically a pile of grilled pastrami piled high in a Costco hotdog roll. They also Include pickes and mustard. Basic but it was pretty tasty.Bathroom - One of the sketchiest you'll visit. It's basically attached to their kitchen so make sure you lock both doors or else you'll get unexpected visitors. Their bathroom is a big negative for those traveling with kids.
