Went to see OURstory: The Black History Musical. Had a blast. Found street parking across the street and walked over with my son. Took a pic of the meter so I can renew it without leaving the show which happened. Recommend downloading the app and setting up your account beforehand with payment method already setup so you only push a few buttons later during the show to extend the money in the meter. App is called ParkMobile https://apps.apple.com/us/app/parkmobile-find-parking/id365399299Area was clean, went thru security to get in. They checked my purse and used a metal detector on me. Had my tickets on my phone in the Wallet app and they scanned it in 5 seconds and we were on our way. Had a concession stand. Wish I would of gotten me a hot tea but didn't. First time at this convention center. It seemed well maintained. Clean. During the intermission I used the bathroom. Smelled like Pinesol which just made me think of me being at home right after cleaning and enjoying that fresh "clean" smell... cause the restrooms were just serviced. Thoroughly enjoyed the show. The seating was weird cause I was on the balcony in row K seats 1 & 3 and it skips 2 or it's in another section which is just weird but whatever. Great experience, can't wait to come back.

Came to the Aladdin musical with my daughter and spouse...it was a little delayed so we were waiting in the lobby...as soon as it started it was pitch black to where I couldn't see where our seats were located...I asked the person outside if they can assist us..he said when I open the doors, there should be someone there to assist me. The workers were far too lazy to even attempt to help me so we simply just left the venue. Worst service I've ever received and there's no excuse since nobody was even busy..we were literally the only people in the lobby as soon as it started...my daughter was bummed out..train your workers to actually work..it can't be that hard to simply help a disabled person walk to their seats

I went with three children for an evening show (Bluey's Big Play). Parking, while expensive, was extremely close and convenient. I checked online just before we got out of the car, to see if umbrellas were allowed, as I had a vague recollection of them being listed as prohibited. It was raining hard, for once, so we had umbrellas ready in the car, but because the website clearly stated that umbrellas are NOT allowed inside, we didn't bring them. We were pretty soaked by the time we got to the front door (the ushers outdoors were urging everyone to move to the front of the building rather than go in through the side) and everyone else had umbrellas! But going back to the car at this point would've gotten us even more wet. My little kids were getting drenched and I had my older kid (tween-age) stand with them closer to the building so the eaves could shelter them a bit where I could still see them while I stood in line in the pouring rain. No umbrellas were confiscated from my fellow Bluey parents. Apparently everyone else knew the facility website is, in fact, a web of lies. The theater itself was fine and the ushers were nice.(AND my kids were really excited to use their new umbrellas but I told them they couldn't because of the erroneous website. They would have loved standing in line in the rain *with umbrellas*!)

Went to see Seinfeld Live at the Saroyan Theater. Will never go there again. We were in the balcony and their upper speakers were not working. They tried to cover the entire venue with the lower speakers. It was so bad people were yelling we can't hear you. Seinfeld was even embarrassed

I have been to a few concerts here, The Animals (1984) B.B. King, Tony Bennett etc....and tbe venue is extremely user friendly and the sound quality is better that the BIG Center events.Seating is accessible and there's plenty of leg room for is 6'2" guys, also the concessions only add to the experience. Parking is not overlooked here as well, the parking garage is right next door and exiting is a snap. The attendants are very friendly and more than happy to assist you on any level. Buying tickets is a snap and seat location is easy to view and select.

Have now seen multiple productions at Saroyan, including Wicked and the Nutcracker. Most recently saw Hamilton and was blown away! Broadway in Fresno does an incredible job with production, rivaling other major cities in the quality of show. The theater itself could definitely use some updating, but it's very comfortable and great seats are very affordable. The lobby area is also outdated, but it's always very clean and staff are always helpful. I have yet to be disappointed in a Broadway production, and the commitment to such quality arts is impressive. We're fortunate not to have to travel several hours to see such great shows.

I attended dozens (no exaggeration) of Fresno Philharmonic concerts back when Ted Kuchar was the conductor. I also attended several other shows such as Jersey Boys. Parking is pretty good. The place is kept clean. The restrooms were remodeled some years ago, and that was a huge improvement. The staff was always pleasant. I moved away over four years ago and I miss the place.

There is a great variety of shows, performances, and concerts that come through. The events are affordable and the productions are fantastic. I saw Hamilton and was awestruck the entire time. I was a bit bummed that the Hamilton playbills were black-and-white photocopies of a playbill that had been already copied one too many times. Keep an eye on the theatre's event calendar, you'd be pleasantly surprised by their shows. While there is parking at the theatre (~$10), there's also cheaper/free street parking but you'll need to pay attention to the parking signs.

Went to the Jerry Seinfeld show 4/12. His act was good but the sound was horrible. We could not understand him or his opening act very clearly. The volume was loud enough, but nothing was very clear. We've been to Saroyan before and haven't had this experience.
